Inside the Sea Train that Cipher Pol 9 occupied, Sanji struck what he considered his coolest pose. After kicking several cars filled with suit-wearing thugs, he lit a cigarette and sighed.
"Robin, wait for me. Your white knight is coming to rescue you right away…"
However, when he entered the next car, he found Franky and Usopp tied up together.
"How did you two end up here?" Sanji asked, speechless.
"Sanji!!" Usopp exclaimed. "How did you get here? No, hurry and help us untie these ropes!"
"Wait a minute."
The two people guarding Franky and Usopp were twin swordsmen—one left-handed, one right-handed.
"Don't take another step forward."
But in one swift move, Sanji kicked both into the roof of the car.
Afterward, Sanji used the den den mushi on the table to contact Luffy and the others.
On the roof of the car, after speaking with Nami briefly, he switched to Luffy.
"Luffy?" Sanji said.
"Yo," Luffy chuckled. "How are things on your end? Have you seen Robin?"
"She's still in their hands," Sanji replied. "Nami just told me what Robin said to Iceberg. Robin's objective—hearing it from her is different than guessing."
"Is that so?" Luffy said. "It's fine. Just go ahead."
Sandy, standing beside Luffy, was speechless. These guys weren't following the plan at all!
Zoro, on the side, said anxiously, "Luffy, don't talk nonsense. Tell him to wait until we catch up! Cook, did you hear? There are some very troublesome guys on that train…"
"It's fine," Luffy said. "Zoro, if it were you, what would you do?"
"Tch." Sandy rolled his eyes. What a waste of effort.
Luffy said, "Knowing Robin is willing to be captured to protect us, can you just sit still? Even if you try to stop him, it's useless."
On the den den mushi, Sanji chuckled. "You really get me, Green Algae Head. Worried about me?"
"Who cares about you, idiot," Zoro said.
"Baka," Sandy muttered.
Sanji added, "Knowing Robin has those feelings, even if it's the Captain's order, I won't stop."
He then crushed the den den mushi.
Meanwhile, Franky had secretly made his way to the top of the train car—but a new member of Cipher Pol 9, Nero, blocked his path.
Nero, a slender figure, sat on the roof, watching Franky strike his poses.
"Who are you?" Franky asked.
"A new member of Cipher Pol 9, Sea Weasel Nero," he replied. "But I can't kill you yet. After all, you're a wanted criminal."
Franky asked again, "Hey kid, why are you up here? You could have waited below."
"That's hard to say," Nero replied. "You guys might be cunning and come over the top."
"Cautious, huh?" Franky said. "Fair enough. But what's that behind you?"
Franky pointed, and Nero glanced behind him.
Bang!
Franky rushed forward, landing a heavy punch on Nero's face, sending him flying several meters.
"Despicable!" Nero said, speechless.
"Heh heh heh," Franky laughed. "Exactly. This old man is the boss of the thugs in town."
Nero moved forward quickly, but his speed wasn't enough.
"Strong Hammer!" Franky shouted.
"Paper Drawing." Nero dodged. "Storm Leg!"
Franky reacted but took the attack head-on. His reinforced front absorbed the impact.
"Flash Fire!"
"Shave! Moon Step." Nero dodged the flames and returned to the top of the car.
Franky hadn't seen such agility before and was confused. How could he jump back like that?
Nero, facing Franky, was equally puzzled. Why didn't Storm Leg work?
They stared at each other for a moment, then simultaneously exclaimed:
"What kind of monster are you?!"
Nero attacked with Storm Leg, but Franky blocked it with his arm shield.
"Brad!" Franky retaliated, shooting nails from his mouth.
"Moon Step!" Nero jumped, dodged, and pulled out two pistols. "I haven't mastered Finger Pistol yet, so I'll use some small tools."
Franky replied, "Now's the time to go to the next car." He turned and ran.
Nero chased him, shouting, "Stop right there, you bastard!"
Franky's mouth curved into a mischievous grin. "You fell for it! Left Hand Shotgun!"
Nero dodged and countered with Moon Step and Shave, firing a shot at Franky's back.
"It hurts!!" Franky cried, finally hit in a weak spot.
"It finally worked!" Nero said, pleased.
Franky activated his Finger Pistol on his left hand, but Nero dodged again.
Nero appeared behind Franky and unleashed another Storm Leg, which Franky narrowly dodged.
"Your weakness is your back, right? I've also understood your low-down personality. This fight is just a matter of time, isn't it?" Nero said proudly.
"Don't get cocky too early," Franky replied. "If I do this, I won't have a weakness."
"Invincible Franky!"
Franky pressed his back against the car, lying flat.
"Hahaha," Franky laughed. "Look at that—nothing you can do now, huh? Weasel bastard."
"…What am I supposed to say…" Nero muttered, speechless.
Finally, Nero snapped, "Enough! If you're joking, this is too much. Fight seriously! Get up!!"
"Speak with respect, Weasel bastard," Franky said. "I'm not joking. You're just unlucky."
He then struck his pose.
"Transformation… Centaur Franky!"
Nero's eyes widened. "It's reversed! The upper body… went to the back?"
Indeed, Franky had shifted the front part of his legs forward, connecting them with two metal rods to his body.
Facing the experienced thug, Nero underestimated him. One false move, and Franky pinned Nero's hands with his front legs and his feet with his own.
Franky removed his arm casing, revealing the metal inside.
"Battle Hammer!!"
Franky crushed Nero and won the battle.
