"Mm? How did you know that?"
Her body tensed slightly as Yugao Uzuki looked at Naruto with confusion.
"Oh… I heard it from Kakashi-sensei."
Naruto lied without missing a beat.
"Ah, I see."
Yugao nodded. That explanation made sense.
"Yugao-neesan, can I see what you look like without the mask? Please? I really like your purple hair."
Naruto looked at her with hopeful eyes.
"Hmm… Alright, since you helped me out so much, I'll let you."
Yugao nodded and lifted her mask.
"Whoa..."
For a moment, Naruto was completely stunned by her appearance.
"Alright, I have to go. See you next time."
Putting the mask back on and hiding that breathtaking face, Yugao waved goodbye and leapt onto a rooftop, quickly disappearing into the distance.
"Phew… That face... A beautiful woman with long purple hair is really something else."
Naruto muttered to himself, then turned and headed back.
"Damn it, that bastard Naruto!"
Back in his hideout, Kabuto Yakushi was seething with rage.
"He actually forced me to summon Manda just to escape. Now I'll have to sacrifice a bunch more people to that greedy snake..."

The next day, after bidding farewell to Haku, Naruto regrouped with Sakura and Sasuke, and the three of them made their way toward the Forest of Death.
"Anko…?"
As they arrived at the meeting point and saw Anko standing nearby, Naruto instinctively shrank back.
"Naruto, this forest is seriously creepy…"
Sakura shivered slightly as she looked into the dark, silent woods. The eerie stillness was unsettling.
"Don't worry, I'm here."
Naruto puffed out his chest reassuringly.
"Hmph! You can stay out of the way!"
Sakura huffed, walking off into the distance, but inside, her heart warmed a little.
"Hmm, that brat again?"
Anko caught sight of Naruto in the crowd and licked her lips with a hungry look.
Whoosh!
In a blur, she appeared right in front of Naruto, holding a kunai to his neck.
"Hey there, brat. You came?"
"W-What do you want this time? I wasn't even staring at you like before!"
Naruto swallowed hard, clearly nervous.
"But I just can't help wanting to mess with you. What should I do?"
Anko slid the kunai up to Naruto's face.
"Looking at this soft, fair little face… makes me want to slice it open, then give you a kiss."
Gulp...
Naruto's Adam's apple bobbed as he stared at her in fear.
"Big sis, I was wrong, okay? Please stop scaring me..."
"Hehe, you're so cute, little brother..."
Anko cupped Naruto's cheeks and pressed her red lips against them.
Smack!
After planting a kiss on his cheek, she licked her lips.
"Mmm, your face really does taste sweet, little brother."
"Ugh…"
Naruto's heart was pounding from her bold move.
This woman is dangerous! I can't take this…
"Hehe, your heartbeat's racing, you know."
Anko placed a hand on his chest.
"Thinking naughty thoughts, aren't you?"
Slash!
Another cold flash. A fresh cut appeared on Naruto's face.
"But honestly, I like your blood more than any of that stuff, little brother."
Naruto could feel her soft, warm tongue sliding around the wound on his face.
He sighed helplessly. "Ugh… my face is ruined again..."
"Phew… thanks for the blood, little brother. I really liked it."
Straightening up, Anko turned and strolled away gracefully.
Naruto watched her leave, completely overwhelmed.
She's terrifying… seriously terrifying.
"Naruto, come look over here!"
Sakura's cheerful voice snapped him out of it.
"Huh? What is it?"
Naruto asked as Sakura ran over to him.
"Naruto, what happened to your face?"
She looked at him with worry and a hint of distress in her eyes.
"Oh, this? I just scratched it on a branch while walking around."
Naruto smiled, brushing it off casually.
"You're so careless!"
Sakura scolded him with a playful pout.
"Heh, are you worried about me?"
Naruto grinned mischievously at her.
"Hmph! Who's worried about you?!"
Sakura huffed again, but her face was already blushing.
"Huh? Orochimaru?"
Just as he was about to tease her more, Naruto's eyes locked onto a ninja from the Village of Grass, his straw hat pulled low over his face.
"Heh, using the Face Stealing Technique?"
Naruto smirked.
"Orochimaru, just looking at your smug face makes me want to beat the crap out of you."
…
"The rules for the second exam will now be announced!"
Anko stood up after finishing the last dango skewer, making sure to glance over at Naruto as she spoke, causing him to flinch again.
After a long-winded explanation, Anko confirmed that no one wanted to back out. She then pointed toward a direction.
"Now, go over there and collect either the 'Heaven' or 'Earth' scroll."
"Earth Scroll, huh?"
Naruto checked the scroll and stored it in his ninja pouch.
"Everyone got their scrolls?"
Anko swept her gaze over the group and then waved her hand.
"Then, let the second round of the Chūnin Exams… begin!"
Clang-clang!
The large gates slowly creaked open, and the genin teams rushed into the Forest of Death.
"Sakura, Sasuke, be careful."
Recalling the danger Orochimaru posed, Naruto couldn't help but warn them.
"Got it."
Sakura nodded in understanding.
"Don't worry."
Sasuke replied flatly.
"Alright, time to stay sharp!"
Naruto mentally braced himself.
BOOM!
A sudden explosion rocked the forest. Naruto's senses went on high alert.
"Orochimaru's here."
"Sakura! Sasuke! Watch out!"
Naruto shouted as he quickly formed hand seals.
"Lightning Style: False Darkness!"
Crackle!
Bolts of lightning arced and snaked toward the smoke cloud.
"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"
A chilling voice hissed from within the smoke.
