Twirling the Magic Circuits in his hand, Shinji once again marvelled at their looks. They do shimmer a lot, just like the rainbows of old...
Hiding the Magic Circuits back into his inventory, he headed downstairs, where his lovely sister was busy cooking his favourite breakfast:
A bowl of deep-fried kaarage and xtra spicy mapo tofu, doused in oil made from Ghost Chili
As he entered the kitchen, he was met with the scene of Sakura fully clad in a laboratory-grade gas mask and apron, all the while holding a tiny vial filled with the molten extract of the Ghost Pepper. As the final drop fell in, a tiny mushroom cloud erupted from the surface, before Sakura removed her PPE, sweating profusely.
"Phew! Ah, there you are, onii-chan. As you can see, breakfast is ready..."

As they silently munched through their breakfasts (Sakura blanching every so often due to the intense heat being emanated from the mapo tofu), Sakura remembered what she wanted to say. "Oh yeah onii-chan, I'll be out for the next few days for longer hours, so I won't be able to cook your beloved dishes for the next week or so –"
"Fine, got it. Just be sure that you're safe..."
Taken aback by her brother's nonchalant attitude to her sudden decision, Sakura remained tongue-tied for the next five seconds. Realising that Shinji was acquiescing to her decision to stay outside for the next week or so with her 'friends' (Shinji knew it was for the Holy Grail War, but he let it be– I mean, who could harm her, considering that he's one of the strongest beings in the multiverse, aside from one...).
Face beaming brighter than the light coming from a Xenon HID, Sakura leapt in the air, before quickly hugging her brother. "Thanks onii-chan! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou..."
With a final kiss, Sakura sped off into the bright outside, head filled with the thoughts of her beloved Shirou...
All the while as a purple-haired 6-foot of a babe towered over him, her eyes burning through her serpentine-patterned blindfold, as if trying to warn him to stay away from her Master, all the while remaining 'invisible'
Damn, what did I do to deserve this...?

As he walked down the busy street to school, Shinji could not help but think to himself on how different everything felt after returning inexplicably from the explosion triggered by the Chaos Insurgency. I mean sure, it might have killed every single personnel who was working on Site 234, but hey, at least they get to reincarnate in a better world without the shitshow that are known as SCPs.
Oh who am I kidding: It's my fault that everyone had died. If I weren't so hellbent on trying to grill Morse for answers regarding what the Serpent's Hands were doing, I would have had ample time to figure out that they were hellbent on detonating the Lantern to kill or banish me, essentially crippling Calvin.
What those bozos do not realise is that underneath Site 234 were around 5000 Outer Deities, 100 of them being Supreme Ones
It was only because I was helping the Site that the world and the Foundation remained at peace!
As he trudged on to school, small tufts of dark brown hair could be seen perched atop one of the many trash cans, before floating away in the soft wind...
"Hee...hee...hee..."
