Leif POV
I came inside the burning building through gate. I could sense many fearful thoughts but I noticed that fire didn't affect my light mode. I moved forward and opened a lock through atomic touch.
There was a mother with two daughters. Mother was afraid and daughters were stunned.
Leif " It's alright. You are going to be safe."
Saying that I opened a portal outside near the police. I sensed them going outside. Then, I flew towards others.

Bullock turned off the radio hearing Gordon's voice. On other side, Flass was gathering taskforce.
Flass" We are going inside by diverging. We are going to shoot on sight both the Mr butterfly and the lunatic, who started this fire."
Bullock" Let's show these bastards what they deserve."
He said moving inside.

As Gordon arrived, he saw the building on fire and police with fire department. He moved forward and called.
Gordon " Listen everyone and come here!"
Every present officer moved towards him. Billy O'Brien, who was looking for a close up, took the opportunity.
Gordon " Is everyone here?"
Officer " No. Flass and Bullock are inside with taskforce."
He informed him.
Gordon" What about civilians...."
He stopped mid speech when a circular light green swirling portal appeared near the police cars. From which the mother and her two daughters came out.
Mother " We are outside?!"
Daughter " That angel saved us!"
Daughter 2" No. He was a shiny butterfly! He was a fairy!"
Moving forward...
Gordon" What happened? How are..."
He was stopped mid speech again when earlier gate closed and two more opened from which civilians came out.
Gordon" Secure the civilians!"
Then, he moved towards the building.
Montoya " Sir.."
He turned towards her.
Gordon " I can't let them kill honest cops."
At which both of them went in.

Leif POV
I had sensed Batman before but I told him that I have everything under control. But he's still outside. Flying around, I reached some civilians in the building.
I destroyed the debris with atomic touch and got inside. Seeing me, a boy hugged her mother.
Leif " You will be alright."
I talked through telepathy and transferred them out through gate. I was using telepathy for contact in smoke. I sensed few cops coming behind me.
I opened gates below them and they fell out on the road. I flew up to save more people in the building.

Gordon and Montoya were covered in smoke. She was holding the 3 kids, they had saved. Gordon was looking around when a gate opened below Montoya and she and kids fell into it.
???" They are safe outside. I am upstairs."
After some moments, Gordon went behind him.

Flass and Bullock were looking for Firebug when they fell into a gate. On other side, Firebug tank was empty now and he was enjoying the flames when he fell into a gate.

Gordon reached the top floor which was crumbling. He looked around and saw a shiny butterfly.
???" I could save them myself but if you take them outside. Mayor will keep your job."
Gordon heard his voice and looked towards his right. There was a black girl, a redhead boy and an Asian girl.
Gordon " Come here, kids. We are going outside."
Kids looked towards Leif, who was covering them in his wings.
??? " Go on. He's a good person."
Kids ran into Gordon's arms. Asian girl asked.
Asian girl " What about you?"
???" I have to stop this fire. I will transfer you near the basement gate."
A portal opened below them and they appeared near the basement gate.
Gordon " Let's go, kids."
Kids" Will he be fine?"
With a smile...
Gordon " Yes, he will."
When he went out with kids. He saw Flass and Bullock and other cops falling on the road. Montoya ran towards him.
Montoya " Sir! Are you alright?"
Gordon " Yes. Take them to safety."
Flash!
Billy O'Brien took his picture.
O'Brien " Commisioner! Do you meet or see Mr butterfly?"
Gordon" No."
After that he went to the taskforce cops and civilians. But another portal appeared and Firebug fell. Seeing him...
Gordon " Get him!"
Nearby cops were about to grab him....
???" Everyone stay away from the building!"
Civilian" Did you..."
People were astonished.
Cop" ... hear that?!"
Seeing that everyone heard a voice in their head.
Gordon " Everyone stay away from the building!"
As cops and civilians took a distance.
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
Before everyone's eyes the entire building which was on fire turned into a frozen building with ice shards. Raging flames turned into icy roses. Everyone was baffled.
???" FIREBUG!"
Everyone looked up and saw a shiny butterfly. His voice was heard in everyone's head.
???" For your pyrophyllic crime, YOU will face a JUDGEMENT OF COLD!"
Then, he shone so brightly that everyone covered their eyes. During this, he changed Firebug mental scape into an icy wasteland. As light turned off, everyone looked up and were baffled.
Mr butterfly was gone. But...
Firebug " NO! IT'S COLD ICE! EVERYWHERE! WHERE IS MY FIRE?!! I CAN'T SEE IT ANYMORE!!!"
Bullock, who had enough of his shit. He knocked him out by hitting him on his head.
Bullock " QUIET ALREADY! YOU BASTARD!!!"
At that public cheered up and O'Brien took his picture. Flass went to him and said.
Flass" Looks like butterfly guy has done something to him, which turned beneficial to us."

Leif came back through gate. Bruce was there with Alfred.
Bruce " Why did you go on your own?"
He wasn't angry.
Leif " Except Flass and Bullock, I did that as a test for future."
Crossing his arms....
Bruce" Why did you use so many powers?"
Leif " To see public reactions and believe me they are not even 50% of my home world's people."
Nodding....
Bruce" Why made a public display of yourself?"
Leif" To gauge their thoughts about future meta humans. Who are equalent to mutants but with different origin story. Which obviously, PAOA can't tell me."
Narrowing his eyes...
Bruce " I see. What did you do with Firebug?"
Leif " Give him an icy trauma."
He said becoming normal. Raising his brow...
Bruce " Why?"
Leif " Bullock and Flass were going to silence him to keep his method of escape. Now, he's traumatized. So, he's safe from them. I heard Gordon thoughts where Mayor Jessop had given him an ultimatum.
So, I made him looked, saving kids. I made Bullock knocked out Firebug and slightly influenced people to hail him a hero. Made Billy O'Brien took his picture for Gazette.
Then, made Mayor Jessop idolized them as hero cops to be sole members of taskforce against us and keep Gordon in position."
Alfred was baffled and Bruce had worried look.
Leif " I know how you feel. This power corrupts! No doubt, many becomes actively and passively control freaks. It's like walking on thin breakable thread."
He had a grim look.
Alfred" Wasn't it bad to choose them as sole members of taskforce against you two, Master Leif?"
Shaking his head....
Leif" They are corrupt, freeloaders. It will give them time to waste alone and we can help people peacefully."
Bruce nodded too.

Gordon was drinking a whisky with Montoya. Today, he was going to take Flass and Bullock's badges but Mayor Jessop, who was happy due to Bullocks picture, told him to let them go.
He also ordered to let them handle the Batman and Mr butterfly. Plus for saving kids, he was safe. He obliged and Flass and Bullock went out with a smug face.
Now, he's drinking his sorrows. Barbara came and sat with him. She put her left hand on his back as support. He looked towards her.
Gordon " I am not done yet."
She nodded and he drank again.

Batman and Leif were talking about new happenings in the GCPD.
Swish!
PAOA " You are gaining a new power."
Sighing. Leif walked away from evidence desk.
PAOA " Congratulations! You have gained Street level Gamma Class Changer type: Corrosive skin! You will adapt to it in 1.5 days and will get new power 3 days later."
Leif" So now, I can melt things by existing. How do one live like this?"
He was looking solemnly on his hands.

Batman POV
I had caught a burglar. Who was stealing from a shop after breaking the mirror. I had tied him against a pole.
Burglar" Will you let me go if I share my half haul with you?"
The nerve of him...
???" The rising sun is always right!"
I turned around and saw a fat person in Egyptian robes walking in the middle of the road and a truck was coming towards HIM!!! Before I moved, Leif in his shiny blue butterfly mode saved him by grabbing him.
After truck passed, I saw fat man yelling at him. Then, he passed out. I looked at his face, I knew him. I turned towards Leif.
Leif " His psychic energy was disturbed. So, I made him sleep. I have also called a nearby ambulance."
I nodded. His power even though dangerous was useful.

Somewhere in a marble room. A person was in a clown costume and make up was laying on a patient's bed. His hands and feet were cuffed by steel holders.
Said person was a man, who was laughing maniacally. He was also crying with red eyes. A person in a black suit was tickling his feet with a feather.
Laughing man" PLEASE! STOP! I WILL DO IT!!! PLEASE!!!"
???" Stop."
A voice came from a speaker in the corner of the room's roof. Man with feather stopped.
???" Do you mean it."
Laughing man" YES! I PROMISE! I PROMISE ON MY LIFE! ON MY LIFE!"
He tried to convince.
???" I don't believe you."
Said a woman near a mike. Laughing man's eyes widened. He started laughing again by his torturers.

Batman went to the old fat man or Fescher Demmimg 's penthouse. There, he found a receipt for charity of his entire fortune. Putting it back, he checked the shelves.
During this, he found a secret door linked to a room filled with Egyptian stuff. There, he saw an used checkbook paid to Dr Harleen Quinzel.
Thud!
A gas bomb fell inside. Seeing it, he threw it outside. Where Flass and Bullock with few officers were aiming their guns. Bullock went inside the room.
But Batman came out and knocked out each officers. When smoke cleared, Flass was alone. All officers were unconscious on the floor.

In a circular hall, a person in butler clothes was standing before a controlling system of some sort. A gate opened and a woman in a jester costume and make up arrived.
There were cells with glass doors. In one cell, a grown up blonde man was wearing a kid's school uniform. He was writing on blackboards with chalk I am a bad boy.
But he was tired and refused to write more. Woman said that he had to. After all, he told his son to write until his fingers bleed. Man tried to attack her but glass was laced with electricity.
Bzzzt!
After getting shocked, he fell on the floor. She told Mr Moorehen, the guy to write same sentence another 1000 times. She walked past a guy, who was trying to find a bad bulb among many.
She told Mr Smith, the guy that there's one. Moving forward, she saw a guy throwing a plate of baked green beans on the floor. He was dressed as a baby in diaper and baby scarf.
She called him as Mr Belsky as a baby, who wanted a desert. In another cell was a guy in king's dress cuffed to his chair. He woke up and asked where was he?
She welcomed him in her Playpen where she treated people like him. He said that he would have her head on a pike. She said that here jester ruled instead of King.
She called him Mr Collins. She ordered the guy as butler, Hastings to bring Mr Belsky out. He opened his door. When he came out. Jester brought him a hammer.
She ordered him to somehow convince Mr Collins to give up his all fortune to her. In return, he could has as much pudding as he could eat. This made Mr Belsky smiled evilly.
Who moved forward reciting pudding.

Barbara came with an orderly to a room. Mr Demmimg was present here wearing a bandage gown. Barbara said that court sent her to help him. He asked about her fees.
She said government paid her. He said good because he's broke. Then, she called him Mr. But he told her to call him a pharoah. She said maybe a friend of her Dr Harleen Quinzel could help him.
But he called her Harley Quinn. She asked if he knew her. At that time, an orderly opened the door and he ran out. Orderly fell down. Barbara followed him.
Orderly called a lockdown. As for Demmimg, somehow he reached the roof and was about to suicide. But Barbara held his gown 's bandages and pulled.
Both fell on the floor. Orderly came and gave him Anesthesia. Before fainting, he said that he wanted to see her again. Barbara asked who and he said ha...ha... And fainted.

I was going back from a hearing when Barbie called me.

Barbara went into her father's office to give his lunch. He thanked her and said to put it aside. She did that and stood behind him. She asked how was he doing?
He said that Mayor Jessop thought that Batman and Mr butterfly were only criminals in Gotham. GCPD bad cops had taken out his good cops for thier hunt.
And cases were piling up. Then, Barbara asked would he chose true even if it turned him against someone, he knew. At that, Gordon looked at her. Then, he said that at such times, truth would be better than other way.
She said Renee was right. You needed a rest. Seeing her tired father but he said that he was good. She kissed on his cheek and went out of his office.

Batman and Leif were about to leave for their night activities.
Swish!
PAOA " You are gaining a new power."
Leif moved to a distance.
PAOA" Congratulations! You have gained Solar system level Omega class Mover type: Flight. You can cover a distance of a solar system in a day through it. "
Everyone's eyes widened.
Leif" It's my Third Omega class power."
PAOA " Yes. You will adapt to it in 3 days. I will recommend not using today. You will have new power six days later."

Batman POV
I got inside her apartment through the terrace gate. I searched her shelves and table for clues but nothing. Then, I checked her room for hidden vaults. After sometime, I found one on floor.
I opened it and found a diary. It had her patients names and addresses. One of those was missing.
I ripped it off and got away.

Leif POV
To think, she was brainwashing people. Batman asked me if she's inside and I told him telepathically no. He was checking the surrounding for secret doors.
At that time, I sensed Barbara Gordon coming. She talked to Hastings. But he made her go. That's what, he thought. She returned after parking her car behind the cliff.
I told Batman about her. When she was looking for an entrance. Batman asked her, what was she doing there. She asked the same thing. He told her about our assumption.
She asked for proof. Well, my telepathy couldn't be used casually. So, he said he's gathering information. He told her to return and used a grappling gun to get on the roof.
She was angry.

Meanwhile
In a hotel, people were drinking and eating dinner. Same thing was happening on a table. Dr Quinzel and Renee were talking about thier high school lives.
She was asking if she was an acrobat. Renee said that she was. She even suggested to her accompanying for skating. Dr Quinzel said looked like she was doing good.
At that time, a waiter brought a dial phone for her saying she had a call. She excused herself from Renee and picked up the receiver. After holding it near her left ear with her left hand and holding wire with her right hand.
She said yes. Hastings said Batman was here. She got serious and said she's coming. She lied to Renee about an appointment and went away after giving her a sensual kiss on her lips.

Leif POV
Me and Batman had saved all the patients. I had brought Barbara by making ice stairs till roof. I made all patients fainted and calm them down. Barbara was angry on her friend.
Through Hastings, we learnt many things. I controlled him by my telepathy. He told us about everything. Her abusing her patients. Using their money in charity, she also had a bomb here.
I froze it. Then, I made Hastings call Dr Quinzel, saying Batman was here. Then, I made him sleep.
Barbara " Isn't that abusive?"
She looked at me.
Leif" Only if I don't use it frivolously."
Barbara " What are you?"
She finally asked.
Leif " I am a Meta human. A sub species of humanity."
Barbara" Nice one."
She took it as a joke.
Batman" He's telling the truth."
After some moments....
Barbara" WHAT?!"
We nodded.
Barbara " How ignorant are we?"
At that time, I sensed Dr Quinzel.
Leif" She is here."
Nodding, we all hid around. As she came in, there was nothing.
Harleen " Hastings. Hastings! HASTINGS!!"
When she was in the hall.
Batman " He is not coming."
He said coming out. Seeing him, she turned but stopped to see me.
Harleen " So, let me guess. You read Hastings' mind."
Leif" Yes."
I said in her mind. She held her head with wide eyes.
Harleen " WHAT?! I thought...."
Tilting my head...
Leif" A pattern like that won't protect your mind from telepathy."
Barbara" Why did you do that, Harleen?!"
Her eyes widened hearing the voice. She turned around and saw Barbara.
Harleen " They brought you too!"
Batman " She came on her own."
He clarified.
Barbara" But they showed me your crimes including a bomb! I trusted you even Renee."
She turned towards me.
Harleen" Did you..."
Leif " No...."
Cutting my words...
Barbara" But she deserves to know, it's better than knowing later."
At that Dr Quinzel tried to run but I made her sleep. Batman held her. Barbara cuffed her. Then, she went to a phone.
Barbara " I am going to call Dad."
We nodded and went out.

Me and my fellow young officer were tasked to deliver the charity money to the bank. Meanwhile the girl was telling me about her father's life in East end.
Young officer" There used to be a paperclip factory here. My father used to work there. But after a fire..."
She was sad. She was a blonde with ponytail. I understood her sorrows. It's same for many. Suddenly, I saw something weird.
Black Officer " What the?!"
Hearing me, she looked into the rear mirror.
Blonde lady officer" Is that a horse?"
A guy in luminous wild west clothes was riding a luminous horse. He went past us.
???" HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Then, we heard an evil laughter. He was coming back with a luminous gun?! He reached near our engine.
???" Time to return."
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He shot our van engine three times. I lost the control and I didn't remember what happened later. When, I woke up. Van was upside down. Blonde lady officer was ok, bruised but safe due to safety belts.
I opened mine and came outside. I looked around but there was nobody.
???" Looking for me, Sir."
I turned around and took out my gun. Seeing the gun, he laughed again.
???" Are you going to shoot a gentleman?"
Black Officer " Don't tempt me!"
He stepped forward and I shot him. But the bullet moved passed opening a hole in his torso. Which RECOVERED?! I LOOKED AT HIM WITH FEAR!!!
???" The gentleman ghost."
He said bowing and I lost consciousness.

Lucius POV
I was sitting in the study, talking to Bruce.
Fox" With that your company's growth has increased 20% this year."
I saw him reading Gotham Gazette's today's Billy O'Brien's news about Gentleman Ghost.
Fox" Are you listening?"
Bruce " Yes. I am. Plus, we should invest money somewhere else than in stocks for now."
He said looking at me. Yet again, he surprised me. I practically was his uncle being his father's friend. But after his parents' death, he became a strange man with strange hobbies.
Bruce " Do you believe in ghosts, fox?"
He asked me something nonsense. At that time, Alfred came with tea. I took the cup.
Fox" No. But I recall Alfred's aunty saw a ghost."
With a drastic expression...
Alfred" You meant when she thought a cat's shadow was a ghost..."
And we laughed.
Bruce" You two are really close."
That's what, I wanted for him.
Fox" You can too Bruce."
Then, we have our tea and moved out. Stopping near my car...
Fox " Remember the property, you saw when you were looking for land for your Wayne's garden housing society."
Nodding.
Bruce" That one!"
Fox" Yes. I bought it."

Bruce" Really?!"
Fox" I am going to sign the deal today."
Bruce " Thanks."

Dent was angry on some papers of gazette on his love life. His P.R. handler, a blonde with glasses said that Jessop was behind it. He said that he could win the public back.
Dent said do what he thinks was best? Then, he went out and got in his car. Where he met Rupert Thorne sitting. Who said he was here to help him. Dent said why help his enemy?
Thorne said he's a player of long game. So, he should thought about it because morals might make him lose in the polls. After that he went out.

A train was moving forward on the rails in the Gotham. Inside, Dent was sitting surrounded by reporters.
Dent" Gotham is a body and this train is like an artery in which people are it's blood. When I become it's heart as a mayor. I will do my best for both railway and the passengers."
But people weren't interested in his mayoral campaign. A boy near the window was yawning. Then, he saw a luminous masked man riding a luminous horse on the adjacent track.
He was looking at him. Then, he disappeared.
Neighing!
Masked man appeared on his horse inside the moving train.
Gentleman ghost " Now, I will request you to give me your fortune, bills purses, coins pockets and hand watches."
He demanded gently taking out his gun.
Gentleman ghost " Put them in my satchel please."
Everyone was doing that.
Dent" Take this and leave them alone."
He said giving a big roll of banknotes to the rider.
Gentleman ghost " Oh, no, Sir. I will not take from a man of your status. I only steal from them."
He denied Dent and started taking a passenger's money. After that his horse stood on its rear legs and waved his front legs neighing and vanished before everyone's eyes.
It appeared on the train roof and rider pulled the reins making his ride running on the tracks. While he was riding, a fast moving object hit him. The rider and the fast flying object, which was none other than Leif in his luminous blue butterfly mode flew forward.
He was using flight. Upon coming near road, he released his grip on the rider. Making the rider fell and roll on the road while he was floating slightly above the pavement.
People were looking at the scene.
Leif " I can hold him."
PAOA " Your luminous mode can make physical contact with spirits. Try using your holy light."
Rider, who stood up, took out his gun and shot him multiple times. But Leif, who was adapted to the level of travelling around the north America in a day, dodged each shot easily.
Leif " These are energy bullets?!"
He rushed forward and punched the rider's face after brightening his fist.
Sizzle!
His punch sent the rider flying few metres away with his mask burning away with his hat dropping. As he stood up....
Gasps!
Shrieks!
What remained was a luminous skull with eyes. Seeing this people gasped and women shrieked. As for Leif, he tightened his knuckles.
Gentleman ghost " YOU DARE TO HUMILIATE ME, CREATURE!"
Leif " I planned to do more than that!"
He rushed forward and grabbed his arms. Then, he brightened up.
Leif " Go back to hell! You scum!!"
Rider " AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
He yelled in pain of being burning away. At that time, something hit Leif sending him flying few metres away. He rolled on the road. He looked towards the assailant 's direction and saw the luminous horse.
Rider limping, mounted his horse and both vanished. Leif tried to sense his presence but he found nothing. Gritting his teeth, he flew up and around the Gotham looking for him.
Meanwhile, Batman collected some half burnt banknotes. Whose burnt sides were glowing with blue luminous energy.
