Death.
What does it mean?
The end of life…. right? It is an unstoppable conclusion that we must all arrive at.
Everyone will die.
It is inevitable; thus, a person's reaction to death depends on the context.
If a young person dies, we mourn.
If an old person dies, we celebrate.
If an enemy dies, we are relieved.
If a friend dies, we are anguished.
And so on…
Life and its vicissitudes offer a plethora of reasons to rejoice and despair, and death is one of the ways in which it expresses this variety.
After dying once, I now have a unique perspective on death, which has allowed me to understand many things. For one, I no longer fear it for myself. I simply wish to live to the fullest, so when it comes, I would embrace it readily.
However, the ironic thing is that I am greatly moved by the death of others.
Because I know… Nothing matters in death.
