Alice was preparing the meal cart in the kitchen when a finger tapped on her shoulder.
She turned around, and her whole body jumped up in fright at the sight of her young master, who was now giving her a warm smile.
"Young Master! My apologies for not knowing you were visiting today!" Alice bowed deeply at once, though it wasn't her fault at all. She hadn't even heard his footsteps approaching.
Juho didn't seem bothered, just took her place, scooping food onto the plates in Alice's stead.
"Young Master, please don't trouble yourself with my tasks!" Alice pleaded timidly.
"So, how many days has it been since my friend ate her last meal, Alice?" Juho asked, continuing his work.
Alice brought a hand over her mouth, voice lowering so no lingering soul could hear her. "Ms. Sepala hasn't been touching the meals for three days now, Young Master."
"And she hasn't been touching the tea as well?"
