In the park where a few streets lights were the source of light, Kazuma and Yuji had a devastating clash with one another. Yuji was on the offensive as he zipped around at the speed of lightning while trying to stab and slash Kazuma, Kazuma on the other hand was finding It difficult to keep up with Yuji. He was blocking the incoming strikes of lightning with the help of his dagger, at the same time he was also dodging. But regardless, Kazuma was still taking some scratches to the hands and legs along with his face "Tch! What's up with him? Why's he doing this? Furthermore, the eye I placed in the air barely saw Yuji coming. If not for the fact that I had sensed him, that and the fact that the energy eye I placed in the air warned me about something coming my way, I may have taken a sharp stab to the neck from Yuji.", he said to himself. Kazuma and Yuji were having an intense dagger clash, they zipped around the entire park around them with every strike they made with their daggers causing bright sparks all over the place. Kazuma thought to himself "I can't keep up with him for long.", Yuji charged up some energy into his leg and then kicked Kazuma accross the field. Kazuma skipped accross the ground, tumbling and finding it difficult to get his footing "GAHA!", he groaned as he continued to tumble. Yuji ran after him with the intention of slashing him with his dagger, but Kazuma was able to retaliate by creating a dagger of energy and blocking Yuji's strike of lightning. The two boys clashed again, Kazuma gritted his teeth "What the.....", Yuji was silent, the entire park lit up with purple light and blue lightning as soon as both boys clashed. Kazuma thought to himself "Why's he attacking me? What the hell is wrong with Yuji?!", he clicked his tounge "Damn it!", his spirit mark started to activate. With a burst of power, Kazuma was able to push Yuji away from him in an explosion of purple energy. Smoke filled the place, Yuji started to stand up "Looks like you've started taking this seriously, Kazuma!", Kazuma seemed annoyed at the moment "What the hell is the meaning of this, Yuji?!". Yuji responded "Nothing really, it's just that lately, you've been off your guard. You haven't trained as much, and all you've done for the past one month was just laying on your bed and not doing anything. I've been keeping an eye on you, and I can't help but to feel annoyed as my best friend wallows like some weakling.", Kazuma jolted with surprise "Did you just call me your best friend?". Yuji zoomed off towards him at an incredible speed, he started launching lightning slashes at Kazuma. Yuji was unrelenting with his continues attacks "I've been watching you for some time now, Kazuma. I've seen you train a couple of times all by yourself as they days passed. Normally, you'd notice that someone is watching you, I didn't know whether to think you were just pretending to not notice me, or you truly didn't know I was there. But regardless, I couldn't help but to feel you were being dull.". Kazuma was able to keep up with Yuji's strikes of lightning, he was parrying every strike with his daggers while feeling Yuji's full force. Kazuma seemed annoyed "Tch! What's his problem?! Attacking me like this out of nowhere is annoying.....!", he gathered some energy into his arms and then blasted them like a cannon at Yuji's continuous lighting strikes, this caused a massive explosion of purple and blue energy. Yuji was caught off guard by this "Huh? He was able to shoot at me despite being in the middle of my lighting barrage?". Kazuma jumped out of the explosion "YUJI...!", he yelled out the name of his friend with his hand stretched out. Yuji growled "Not so fast.....", he jumped backwards with daggers of lightning appearing around him "I haven't tried this before, but here goes.", Kazuma was stunned for a moment "Huh? That's.....". Yuji called out "Death Lightning Barrage: Fire!", Yuji's attacks took off at top lightning speed. Kazuma gritted his teeth in shock "EEEH!", he started to run and propel himself with energy while dodging all of the lightning attacks shooting at him. Suddenly, Kazuma teleported "Ah?! Teleportation?! Crap! I forgot Kazuma could do that!", Yuji thought to himself. Kazuma had already appeared behind Yuji and was ready to attack him with a kick. Kazuma infused his leg with powerful amounts of energy "ALRIGHT THEN, ITS MY TURN!", he exclaimed with excitement, Yuji was stunned "Oh shit!", he went in for a block. Kazuma exclaimed "SPECIAL MOVE: METEOR KICK!", he called out the name of his attack as he kicked Yuji straight to the ground. Yuji crashed and tumbled, as soon as he looked up, he saw Kazuma flying down towards him. Kazuma was ready to blast off an intense amount of energy at him, Yuji immediately stood up, cloacked his arms with lightning and immediately went for a block. But then, Kazuma just turned off whatever attack he was preparing to launch at Yuji and then just landed infront of him like nothing happened "Come on, let's go. I'm pretty hungry, hopefully the person who brings food to the hostel is around. Either that or I'll just grab something to eat on the way, let's go.". Kazuma walked off while Yuji looked confused and shocked at the same time "He was able to keep up with me without fail. Not jus that, but if he hadn't sensed it was me, then he probably would have made attempts to kill me rather than just pary my moves.", Yuji smiled "Kazuma, I'm glad you haven't lost motivation.". Kazuma turned back and waved "Hey, Yuji! Aren't you coming?", Yuji responded "Yeah, I am.", he rushed over to Kazuma "Kazuma, I'm really glad we're friends.", he thought to himself. Meanwhile, Fragmell was in a dark laboratory that was located in a cave in the wastelands. He had just finished watching Fugaku's speech and declaration of war "Hm! HAHAA!", he laughed "Looks like he's finally feeling the way I do. At this point, he doesn't need a reason to come after me, he's doing it of his own will. Good!.". He turned to his front, the floor below him had a mechanical magical circle below it, along side some written symbols that didn't even belong to the human race at all. Fragmell did a hand sign "Nechanica No Ryuozuchi", he said an incarnations, a smirked curled up his face "Good day, Lord Nechanica!".
