(A/n- Alright, someone pointed out a mistake that Reyna never was the Praetor as she was trapped in the guinea pig island during the sea of monsters timeline. Silva finally reached Manhattan, but the moment he did, he was yanked off again by Apollo who began his complete admission process. And from what he can see, he got in the institute where he is going to study for the next few years.
They gave him the option of taking early exams to be eligible for college as his knowledge in most subjects had reached the required amount. But Apollo suggested normal years but with advanced education.
"Kiddo, you were with the Greeks for almost your entire life. Plus, from what I can see, you want to have a normal life at the end instead of turning into a god like Hercules. So, I think its better if you have the entire experience of a normal teenagerhood at least when it is not summer vacation" and when Apollo put it like that, Silva did not feel like complaining.
Most people would be mortified at going through high school and studying everything once more. But Silva considered the school time he had in his last life as one of the most enjoyable experience he ever had in his whole other life.
Though he died soon after, so that can't be considered much.
But when Silva had reincarnated, his mental faculties had also regressed with his body. Thankfully, his memories and experiences he had in his last life helped him not to turn into a literal kid when he was young. But right now, he was feeling like a teenager.
So, he decided to accept Apollo's idea to enrol him in the school to start high school.
After the formalities were over, Silva said goodbye to Apollo and began using the map function to find the property that was gifted to him by the senior reincarnator Inazuma.
It took him some time, but he finally reached the house near the outskirts of Manhattan. It was a two-story house with a big lawn, a garage with enough space for two or three cars. The house seemed to run on power and had water. But Silva did not find even a single electric line or pipe connected to the outside world. Plus he was also able to find a waste disposal system which had a tunnel that ended in a portal of some kind.
He promptly decided not to investigate where it ends.
After looking around the house, he found out that it was filled with all the appliances that seemed a bit from the future. Although the items existed in his current timeline, the durability and functions seemed to be decades ahead of the current timeline in which he lived in.
'MHA world was at least a century away in the future' Silva thought as he looked everywhere around the house.
At the end of the day, the house appeared as the perfect place for him to live in for the time being. But lo and behold, the surprises were not over.
The house had another function which allowed it to teleport into another location as long as the location is under the ownership of Silva. So that means if Silva wanted to escape from the city and retire in the countryside, he just needs to buy a small plot of land and click the teleport button.
"This is good" Silva told himself as he looked around the building.
School is going to start soon, and he had already been notified by Chiron that the camp had already begun preparations to deal with the threats in the future and Chiron also told him that it was better for him to have a foothold in the mortal society.
If it was the old ages, Chiron would have wanted him to train more but in the new age, Chiron knew that there is a time when the demigods are able to be safe.
After a demigod reaches an appropriate age, the monsters stop hunting them and turns towards the younger demigods. The ancient world did not have that system, and demigods were hunted down even if they are old as a bat.
So, Chiron was pushing Silva so that he can have a good life after the fight was over for him.
"Hmm" Silva used the Laptop he had got with the property to connect with a few trading sites. The laptop seemed to be modified and was able to handle being used by a demigod as long as it is inside the property line.
He accessed the trading platform to cross reference with the information he got from Inazuma and found out that it was accurate to the T.
He immediately began investing based on Inazuma's plans.
The aim was not to invest big and bring attention to him. It is to invest in a small manner with which he will be able to gain a really good amount of profits while at the same time control his own influence in the market so that his trading does not make the already existing future deviate by too much when it comes to the mortal society.
If he buys up a lot of shares of any major corporate like an idiot, he will destabilize the market plans that he had gotten from Inazuma. Plus, there is a chance that he might destroy one of the leading corporations in the future and he had no idea what the world would be like when that happens.
So, Silva carefully followed Inazuma's plans while investing on the stock market.
At the same time, on mount titan.
Luke was shivering, cursing Silva for his current condition. He had thought that the curse Silva had given him can be countered by just getting a bit too tired while training. But he was wrong.
The curse made him stay awake every single second of the day. And until he had given his all, until his body reached a level where staying awake might completely destroy it, he was unable to fall into sleep.
And even the sleep he got was meagre as he will wake up within three or four hours with nightmares of horrible monsters trying to hunt him down.
He can't relax for a single second; he can't eat food without looking around him due to his instincts screaming at him to be careful.
While all of this was happening, Luke finally found out the true nature of the curse and why it designated him as the prey and Silva as the hunter.
It was designed to torture the pray until it begs the hunter to free it from its misery by killing it.
The curse wanted him to die by Silva's arms. But at the same time, he remembered Silva's words. About how fate prevented Silva from killing him.
So, in the end, he will suffer the consequences of the curse forever.
Tears flowed down his eyes, and he kept on cursing Silva in his mind.
