There was no trace of any other color but red as the swarm that was ahead of them was in hundreds of thousands these beasts where way bigger than the minotaurs that they have just fought,
they were rushing towards them at such a powerful force that killed a number of them in the process.
Zaya didn't really see all of that as much of a problem,
what baffled her the most was what these beasts approaching them were emitting primordial energy signatures.
Which could only have meant some sort of evil spell was casted on them giving them this strange ability.
Zaya shook immensely,
In the army she led she was sure only four of them had primordial energies signatures herself included while June and Zoey haven't activated theirs at all.
The the rest were regular human beings,
they were all going to die,
because conventional weapons could not be used to kill this beasts,
Zaya thought as she remembered what Chinami had always said.
Zaya clicked her tongue why didn't they have some sort of witch or wizard of their own she asked herself.
She looked back upwards,towards the sky, Korin was about to fall hit the ground.
There was a beep on Zaya's nano wrist watch.
The hologram of Chinami appearing on it,Zaya do not bother about the energy signatures,
The weapons in their hands her powerful enough to weaken the beasts but surely not enough to kill them.

Zaya transformed to her fox form as she yelled attack!
The veteran army went forward at full speed,determination and fear set in their eyes,
Zaya stood still as the veterans passed her by.
She stretched her hand to the side grabbing a half breed cat that was also running among them.

Ashara asked baffled, the wish to battle apparent in her look.
Come with me Zaya said as she held Ashara closer to herself transforming taking a stance and launching into the air away from the midst of the veteran army,she landed exactly where she had calculated Korin would land.
she jumped once more using the falling injured dragon as a stepping stone and caught Korin along the way.
"Are you kidding me!"
Ashara yelled laughing did you really have to take me to jump with you!

That's not true Zaya said as she landed back on the dragon that was already on the ground unmoving.
She dropped the two teenagers in her arms,

We need to save them Zaya muttered ignoring his words.
Those veterans do not deserve to die,three of us together in our best of forms can take all of the fire creatures together.
I could take them all alone if you wished thou pretend alpha commander korin said mockingly.
Zaya frustrated was about to give him a piece of her mind when Ashara spoke
guys we don't have time for this,I agree, let's go forward and attack first then the veterans could battle the ones we've injured.
Zaya then nodded Korin following the gesture as he launched forward and within seconds he was at the front line and had began killing the fire creatures like they were slow ants.
That guy isn't much of a human being said Ashara as she saw he had suddenly vanished from their midst.
There was a beep on Ashara's nano wrist watch.

They are fire creatures and we have to kill them,June rolled her eyes as she said be careful!

As there was a massacre in every part of the war they'd find themselves,making it easy for the veterans to survive.
Zaya fought with her claws killing dozens of different fire creatures in a matter of seconds,Korin barely moved his sword but hundreds fell,while Ashara fought at crazy speed with two swords in her hands.
The scenery made her look like the conjurer of blood baths,as they was blood wherever she her sword touched.
The battle continued the number of the fire beast seeming to be increasing as the minutes passed soon enough the veterans where being pushed back,some heavily injured while a few others were dieing.
Zoey and Natasha where together in the war each fighting one fire beast.
With the protection of the few strongest veterans in the army they where safe from harm.
While June sat in the midst of the raging war on the ground her eyes closed she hacked her nano wrist watch to create a round shield around her.
She breathed in and out continuously, from far away Zaya spotted her friend in the midst of the war from over half a mile away.
Zaya smiled at June's cleverness also wondering why she didn't partake in the battle.
Zaya's smile turned to a frown as the shield that protected june was attacked by one of the fire creatures.
It began to crack, seeing this more creatures joined in cracking the shield barrier more,June stood in the midst of the shield unmoving.
Seeing this Zaya rushed towards June direction at the fastest speed she could garner weaving through the eternal crowd of fire creatures at full speed but unfortunately for her she couldn't make it the shield broke.
Sending the fire creatures pouncing on her more joined totally covering her body.
Zaya tripped and fell she hit her hand on the ground as streaks of water could be seen falling from her eyes.
She then felt something where the fire creatures had attacked June.
Some powerful force that felt a little bit too powerful Zaya stood up wondering if the fact that they've devoured June had made them stronger.
"Zaya felt it as she screamed shield your selves!"
The mayor stood at the control room staring at the screen which showed the battle below, Chinami and Carla the richest women in the world.
Behind him were government officials along with the vice and other elite people that lived in the phantom City.
They where staring at a screen which reflected a war that was going on back in the phantom City luckily for them they had escaped the city successfully along with the indigenes of the city.
They weren't yet certain on exactly where they were headed yet but what they were sure of is that,
if they were to stay in the sky for three whole we ks they would without touching the ground.
Carla's gaze suddenly fell on a girl in the midst of the army she had a nano shield protecting her.
Her expression calm as she seemed to be meditating zoom in on the shield girl Carla spoke.
The screen inbuilt AI zoomed in on her Carla then spoke isn't that dangerous?
Immediately after she let out those words the nano shield was attacked and began cracking.
The people who stood on the room suddenly put on anxious faces, Chinami them spoke not to worry.
Her name is June,she'll be fine what she's attempting is one of the ways her ancestors awoke their primordial beast form, Chinami said,

Everyone in the midst of the battle turned on their shield just as Zaya had instructed ,the primordial creatures where slightly fazed as they also sensed something dangerous was about to occur.
There was an explosion,it was an eruption of yellow devastating energy the whole groumd shook as the yellow light exploded through the area.
Zaya jumped up towards the sky as part of her purple fur had been burnt from the yellow primordial beam.
She turned on the shield from her nano wrist watch mid way as she landed back on the ground.
The explosion lasted for minutes making most of the fire creatures around the area injured from the burning rage of the primordial energy beam, while the weak ones died, immediately scattering into nothingness.
After the explosion was over, there was a fog yellow twinkling sparkles swaying all around the battle ground as it was being lifted by the wind.
Everywhere was silent,
For a second,Zaya felt like grabbing some Mike and giving every one veterans and fire creatures included a heart felt speech on why they should all live in peace and end this continuous unnecessary war.
She suddenly hit her hand on her forehead snapping her brain back to reality.
She stared towards where June had sat,The fog was still strong but Zaya could get slightly get a sight of what June looked like.
Unexpectedly a stray fire creature that had survived the beam tried to attack her from the right with an axe,Zaya watched in bewilderment as some sort of primordial beam came from the beasts mouth vanquishing the fire beasts.
More came June roared loudly attacking the beasts it was at this moment the fog cleared.
Zaya got a close look,June had become a jaguar!
The fog cleared Zaya's breath became slightly ragged as she was staring at a real jaguar.
The jaguar's yellow skin was glittering it had huge white fangs,a deep red eyes with some round stripes all over its body.
Zaya smiled as she muttered June did it she'd actually did it.
"Yes!" She yelled as she felt on cloud nine at that moment,though something was different about June's transformation she had become a full jaguar walking on all four.
She was also double the size of an alpha tiger almost half the size of a full grown apple tree.
The battle raged on,
Korin killing in hundreds, the veterans began attacking the fire beasts again dominating them with the momentum June had granted them.
Ashara moving at an unseen speed killing the red primordial beasts in dozens.
The jaguar stood up on it's four feet as it seemed to yawn.
Are you kidding me,now we're the only ones left said Natasha as she and Zoey had gotten close to the where the primordial jaguar was,The jaguar faced both of them it's red eyes looking sunken.
"I know it's you June don't try to scare us, take us for a ride!"Zoey commented excited.

Without waiting for any confirmation or sort from the primordial jaguar the two girls hopped on it's back.
The jaguar launched forward at crazy speed,The side of it's body began emitting a yellow powerful primordial energy which affected every fire creature it passed by June seemed to be able to control what the energy shocked and who it killed.
At that rate she could cause terrible damage ending a large part of this war by herself alone but she wasn't certain how far it could last.
And she had to consider the veterans that were in the battle along with the two girls that were squealing happily at her back like they were still in elementary school.
Zaya ran towards where the fire creatures dominated the most as she growled hardly destroying most of them with the might of her growl.
The effect was huge as it killed thousands of the fire beasts.
Zaya wondered why she hadn't thought about this earlier, Korin joined her performing the ancient technique and also killing the fire creatures in thousands.
The fire beasts began trembling as each of the different species began howling as they where rushing back seeming to join together in some sort of formation.
Zaya growled once more killing multitudes of them the ground shaking immensely, fire creatures dieing.
But something felt wrong as they weren't fiercely attacking anymore they all seemed to attempt composure as some evil fate had awaited them.
Zaya called the veterans to fall back into formation.
The veterans began coming from different directions in the phantom city,
Some were Injured while others had lost their limbs, yet they had still fought.
These scene sparked rage in Zaya's heart as she wished to destroy all of the red monsters in one fatal strike.
She calmed her self down as she stood in the front of the troops and they began creating a phlaxan formation.
The veterans gathered together,the commanders of the army were at the front of the formation along with korin the champion of the tournament of thousands, Ashara standing beside him two swords with beaming white energy in her hands.
A yellow glittering jaguar with two girls sitted on it also at the front, a swords and beam shooter in both of their hands, a glint of excitement set in their eyes.
Zaya stared at the fire beasts,they were still gathering in a formation,it was rough yet stable.
The number of troops of veterans that had stayed at the base and entered the war was more that ten thousand now their numbers were roughly three thousand.
The fire creatures all suddenly stopped,Zaya smiled seeing the change of events she suddenly thought to take this opportunity to defeat the fire creatures that stood at their front,once and for all
Zaya was about to give the order for them to rush forward and finish this unending war., when she sensed it, far away in the sky something big was coming, something powerful.
Her heart began to beat loudly,the others who stood around her could also sense it,the loud whoozing sound and raging primordial energy this beings asserted was equal to that of the red and black dragon that korin had defeated.
Zaya body trembled,it was time, she remembered what Zoey's mum had told her about how this wasn't her actual battle.
Zaya stared straight aheadat the red sky behind the fire creatures.
Emerging from it was some sort of red object which came at full speed.
As it got closer it became visible it looked space ship like in nature.
Imediately following this space ship were others of it's kind as they all began rushing towards the phantom city at break neck speed.
Zaya's temperature began increasing, she had a very uneasy feeling about what was about occur.
The number of space ships were ten.
Nine alighted on the ground the width about forty meters while the length was a hundred.
As they landed behind the tens of thousands of fire creatures their wide frontal doors opened more fire beasts began coming out from the ships.
Some red spiders twice the height of humans others horses while others were red goblins,large red centipedes,toads,goats,hippos,magical wisps,dark faires.
Zaya breathed in and out,
in and out again.
They were doomed!
