Zaya strutted down the hill where she'd sat, climbing up a large boulder and standing firmly on it as she faced the west. A drop of water clashed on her head, she looked up towards the sky, a storm was brewing.
Unfortunately this was no predictable storm, it was the sky sending a warning to all creatures near by to retreat while they can for a battle that won't be soon forgotten is about born.
Zaya tapped on her phoenix emblem twice a hood covering her head and a mask appearing on her face.
She lowered her head down, lightening flashed as her gaze met that of another.
Lightning crackled in the sky again, standing on the tip of a hill a few meters away from Zaya was a goddess looking creature.
Her frontal hair was cut neatly, covering her fore head down to her eyes, her outfit colorless like a mirror, shimmered bright.
Her blades were long, and zig zag like a snake,the same invincible carvings spread across her face like roots covering a larger part, leading to her eyes.
Zaya didn't want to be rash with the powerful looking creature standing right before her.
Politely yet daringly Zaya asked who are you? Her brows furrowed.
The goddess creature then spoke I am a cosmic being from a reality beyond yours.
Zaya smirked sightly her guess was right, someone from the infinite realms.
What do you want from me? Zaya asked bodly. The cosmic being then responded, I have come for the crimson gem of Edeth.
Zaya's fists tightened she was an enemy after all she thought.
We aren't that different from each other said the cosmic being.
You want the gem hidden but I want the gem hidden with me, surrender now and kneel to my cause and this will be over with.
"I refuse" said Zaya codly, her purple blazing swords appearing in both of her hands glowing in immense energy.
So be it the infinite being said as she struck her two swords on the hill she stood, there was an explosion.
Zaya tried to shield the powerful explosion with her sword but it was absolutely useless as the immense force the explosion carried had lifted her of the ground her sword vanishing immediately.
She crashed into different rocks entering through it and coming at the other side, if Zaya hadn't worn her suit she would have been dead by now.
There was a loud hissing sound in Zaya's head she began coughing as were she landed was totally filled with dust. She could barely see, she'd been thrown over a mile away there was a searing painballnover her body.
She tried to stand, her legs were wobbly almost giving out se supported it with her hands as she finally stood.
She coughed harder blood coming out from her mouth. The dust cleared as the cosmic being flew over to Zaya's location.
Blood dripping from her mouth, Zaya yelled loudly what do you want with the crimson gem, the cosmic being then answered we've passed through this stage before leave it all to me and I will keep the gem hidden
But because you resisted I will show you no more compassion, you flee today you will die! The cosmic being flew towards Zaya as she grabbed hold of her neck.
Zaya's struggled trying to remove the grip from the powerful creature but she was too strong.
The cosmic being then lifted Zaya into the sky soaring it the sky at a speed rate faster than that of a rocket. Let me go Zaya said as she summoned her sword and struck the neck of the cosmic Being. The cosmic being didn't as much as flinch, neither was the slightest trace of a scratch on her skin.
Zaya didn't yield,even though her sight was getting blurry as the cosmic being moved at a crazy speed and she felt her Brian upside was down. The cosmic being irritated at Zaya's continuous pointless strike threw her towards the ground, Zaya was shocked as she had never thought the cosmic being would do that.
She would have begged the cosmic being that she would stay put and not interfere in her war but that wasn't much of a choice for her now, as she could barely blink her eyes talkless of speaking.
Zaya felt immeasurably pain as she crashed on the ground, as she slowly lost consciousness she realized they weren't in scallfell pike as she could here the screams and shouts of civilians so not all had made it Zaya thought as she lost her consciousness.
A few minutes passed, Zaya laid unmoving on the ground the cosmic being slowly descending towards were Zaya had crashed.
Seeing she was in the border between death and life, she touched Zaya's head with one of her finger energy flowing from her hand towards zaya, Zaya revived, her eyes sprang open, breathing heavily.
Seeing the cosmic Being standing right at her front, Zaya spoke why did you let me live! Finish what you've started, I am of no use to you she yelled.
But you are child The cosmic being said, tell me where the gem is and I will let you live.
No! Zaya yelled as she summoned her two swords striking the cosmic being as hard as she could, the cosmic being was pushed to the back a few steps.
She then balanced herself as she flew into the air and said you shouldn't have done that.
The hands of the cosmic being glowed as it was focused towards Zaya, finally, Zaya yelled excitedly, fight like a real warrior
Unfortunately for Zaya the cosmic being wasn'tplanning on shooting the beam towards her.
She had lifted a large sky scraper with her telepathic senses which was now hovering right above them about to crash.
They both were in a big hole which had resulted from Zaya's earlier crash, though the cosmic being was in the air while Zaya on the ground.
You've left me with no choice Zaya said summoning both of her swords again as she took a familiar movement.
Steps she'd seen Edeth take in her dreams. A step that was used before the fall of gods, a step that carved history, A movement taken before the fall of empires.
Zaya didn't bother if it was only the beginning she could master.
Right from when the cosmic being had been spotted by the general she knew there was a high chance of death.
The cosmic being stared in fear mixed with sorrow she recognized those steps!
