Chapter 21 - CRIMSON TRICK — CHAPTER 22

The sky was gray, heavy, and far too quiet. Quiet in the way things are before a storm — but not a natural one.

It felt alive.

It breathed between the clouds.

It watched.

Yuta walked toward the ruins of the ancient Luminaris Temple — the place Malhar had spoken of.

The place that held the truth.

The truth… about the fall of his people.

Every step he took echoed, as if the ground itself were whispering dead stories.

Ruins, broken blades, shattered crests. He felt his breath growing faster.

Something was pulling him — something not made of magic.

It was anger.

"Why do I feel this…?" he muttered.

Inside the temple, carved deep into the walls, were marks of ancient battles.

Scars.

And between them all, a single symbol repeated over and over:

An eye.

Wreathed in flame.

Surrounded by shadows.

A chill crawled down his spine.

He touched the symbol.

And everything… woke up.

The walls began to glow. The ground trembled.

Whispers flooded the chamber — voices long dead:

"It wasn't your fault…"

"It wasn't the clan…"

"It was him…"

And then, he saw.

---

A Vision of the Past — 87 Years Ago

The Luminaris Temple shook with chaos. Screams. Magic. Explosions of light and darkness.

Guardian mages fought back, casting ancient light barriers, sacred shields — but nothing could stop that thing.

It wasn't an army.

It wasn't a demon.

It was just him.

Shadow.

He walked calmly through the flames.

No spell could reach him.

No blade could cut him.

He didn't destroy the temple out of power — but purpose.

In the distance, a young woman screamed:

"He wants the Eyes!"

A high mage shouted:

"Protect the Swords! Protect the Luminar Children! Lomáhâh!"

But it was too late.

Shadow stepped before the eldest mage, and quietly said:

"Light is just a shadow… that refuses to accept itself."

Then, with a single move — he shattered the Seal of Luminaris.

And everything began to fall.

---

The vision vanished.

Yuta was on the floor, drenched in cold sweat, eyes wide, heart pounding like war drums.

"He… destroyed…"

"Shadow destroyed my clan…"

"He killed the Luminar Guardians… and stole the Seals of Light…"

Silence fell over the temple.

And for the first time—

Yuta felt something he had never felt before.

Hatred.

Not the kind that screams.

But the kind that watches.

That waits.

He clenched his fists.

And his eyes — even though still borrowed from the swords — glowed with luminous violet.

---

ELSEWHERE — TISMANI IN MOTION

While Yuta uncovered his past, Tismani walked across the magical fractures of the world, her golden mantle drifting like someone treading between timelines.

She did not run.

She did not fly.

She passed through realities.

"Shadow is moving…" she whispered, staring into a lake — which shifted, turning into a mirrored veil.

His image appeared.

Shadow, walking along an empty road, like an ordinary traveler.

But wherever he stepped — color vanished.

Plants wilted.

The sky dimmed.

Tismani watched.

"He wants the Three Artifacts of Origin."

In the shimmering water, three names appeared:

The Eclipse Blade — with Shadow

The Starheart — hidden with Tismani

The Eye of Chaos — lost in time

She spoke softly, as if someone unseen were listening:

"Shadow never wanted to destroy the world…

He wants to control the cycle of Magic.

He wants dominion over birth… and ending."

She touched the mirror — and her reflection dissolved into golden dust.

"And that is why…" she whispered.

"I won't let him."

Her body scattered into petals of light — and she vanished.

---

MEANWHILE — BENEATH THE SEA

The ocean was… unsettled.

Not furious. Not storming.

Restless.

Like something ancient had awakened.

In the crushing depths, upon thrones of coral and obsidian, Leviathan opened his eyes.

The Sea King.

The Abyssal Primordial.

His eyes held no pupils — only deep, abyssal glow.

Around him, colossal sea serpents, forgotten beasts, ocean titans—

They waited.

Leviathan rose, and his voice vibrated through all the waters of the world:

"The war has begun."

Tidal waves rose in the northern seas.

Ports shattered.

Ships were swallowed.

The coasts trembled with fear.

People fled.

And human news screamed:

"The ocean is alive…"

"Something monstrous is moving…"

But Leviathan was not speaking to mortals.

He spoke to someone far more dangerous.

"Shadow…" his voice echoed through every tide.

"…if you truly come… I will be waiting."

And for the first time—

the ocean darkened.

---

AND WHILE ALL OF THIS HAPPENED…

Shadow walked down the road toward the first human city.

No rush.

No magic.

No soldiers.

Just walking.

The warm wind stirred his dark cloak.

There was no emotion on his face.

No anger.

No hurry.

Only a whisper — soft, like he was speaking to the world itself:

"It is time."

The shadows around him shivered, as if they understood.

And he said:

"Let's show them… they never had control."

---

BACK TO YUTA

Yuta stood. His breath still unsteady.

The swords locked to his wrists pulsed faintly as he closed his eyes and whispered:

"If he was the one who destroyed my people…"

"…then I will destroy him."

And in that moment — something answered inside him.

It wasn't his sword.

It wasn't his magic.

It was the Luminaris blood — finally awakening.

A white flame.

A golden spark.

And a violet shadow.

Three forces that were never meant to exist together.

But now—

they lived inside him.

The sound of the wind that night did not feel natural.

Inside the Silent Temple, where echoes of memory could be touched like living ghosts, Yuta remained on his knees — breath heavy, eyes glued to the visions that were slowly consuming him.

There, before him, truth danced like black fire.

The Fall of the Luminaris Clan.

The massacre of his family.

His mother's final scream.

The destruction of Valhart.

The birth of chaos.

But it wasn't the cultists.

It wasn't the mage hunters.

Nor the mana devourers.

— "It was him…" Yuta whispered, his eyes trembling. "It was all… him."

Shadow.

The one he once believed was only legend. A myth. A phantom echo of history.

Now, Yuta saw with perfect clarity:

Shadow was the one who manipulated every event that led to the downfall of Luminaris.

He was the one who stole the Luminaris Codex — the artifact that held the balance between light and shadow.

He was the one who poisoned the sacred Luminaris Tree with corruption.

And worse…

Shadow knew of Yuta's birth.

And he had a reason… to destroy him.

---

Yuta rises.

His aura begins to change.

Before — calm, pale, luminous.

Now — a light fractured with black fissures.

"I will never forgive him."

His fist closes. The ground cracks.

"Even if I have to walk into the Eternal Abyss myself."

His eyes no longer held hope.

They held fury.

They held retribution.

They held the next evolution of the Luminaris bloodline.

---

Meanwhile — in a place where light does not exist…

Tismane walked across a sea of shadows. Her body shimmered with fragments of time and ruins of ancient magic.

She knew Shadow was moving.

She knew he was searching for the artifacts.

But there was one difference.

She had already begun.

She knew the Seven Primordial Relics before Shadow ever did.

She knew that the Heart of Yggdrasil, the Mana Veil, the Luminaris Codex, the Flame of Lehrar, and the Key of Naerah were parts of something much greater.

And she knew Shadow believed he was ahead.

But he was late.

"You think chaos belongs to you…" Tismane whispered, her eyes gleaming with an impossible blue. "But I walked beside it… long before you ever existed."

And on her back, slowly glowing beneath runes,

rested the True Crown of the Primordials.

"Naerah created you. Lehrar gave you purpose."

"But I… I am the one who will seal you."

And with that, she vanished into a tear of reality.

---

In the Primordial Ocean — Leviathan awakens

There was no moon.

The waters began to rise like living walls. The sea breathed.

Lakes trembled. Rivers recoiled. Columns of water erupted at the edges of the world.

Leviathan opened his eyes.

"The war has begun…"

Around him, thousands of oceanborn creatures awakened:

Mana serpents;

Coral golems;

Abyssal beasts;

Admirals of the dark tides.

"Shadow has moved. The balance is broken," Leviathan roared.

But Shadow was not alone.

He sensed another energy.

Yuta.

Pure light — fractured by shadow.

And Leviathan understood:

For the first time in ages…

A Luminaris had become a real threat to the Primordials.
