I walked down the stairs to the living room with Loki in my arms. The little cutie hasn't left my side since.
"Good morning!"
I froze when I saw Athena relaxing on the sofa.
"What are you doing here?" I asked sternly.
"What do you mean, what am I doing? This is my brother's place, and I have access to it."
That explained her intrusion from yesterday and today. Ares was a private person, but I guess Athena was an exception.
I dropped Loki, and Athena came to him, but he hissed at her and scurried out.
That's my boy!
"Ugh! Meanie!"
She straightened her spine and gave me her best smile.
"I was waiting for you to wake up. We should hang out."
"I'd rather throw myself off this building." I walked to the kitchen to make coffee.
"Oh, don't be like that, we're besties, aren't we?"
"I think you really need to check your brain."
"Why should I do that?"
I cast a look over my shoulder. "You're clearly missing something."
