Chapter 257 - Chapter 259: Clue: Blue-Green Ribbons!

After hanging up the phone, Heiji sat on the sofa. A sharp light flashed in his eyes.

Since Eri Kisaki already knows Yukiko was kidnapped, it means Yusaku Kudo has the clue. With their skills, they should be able to find this place tonight.

He looked at the fainted Yukiko. He thought for a moment and stood up to leave.

Yusaku Kudo went back to the Osaka Police Station. If someone wanted to find a person, there was no better place than this.

"Mr. Yusaku, do you have a clue now?" Ginshiro Toyama asked.

"Superintendent Toyama, could I have a quiet room? I have a bit of a clue now," Yusaku said politely.

"No problem. Mrs. Kudo was kidnapped in Osaka, so our police station is partly responsible. We will definitely help you as much as we can." Ginshiro Toyama nodded. He looked at Officer Sakata nearby. "Sakata, take Mr. Yusaku to Meeting Room 5 right away."

Yusaku did not hesitate. Now he only wanted to solve that code quickly.

Beika Park in Tokyo!

Blue-green ribbons... Conan sat on a bench. He held his chin with one hand and fell into deep thought.

"What is wrong with Conan?" Ayumi asked quietly.

"Maybe he is crazy with hunger." Genta's stomach made a loud growling sound. Gurgle gurgle.

"Based on my guess, he must be thinking about a very difficult problem," Mitsuhiko said while nodding.

"Ah! This is so annoying!"

Suddenly, the three kids were startled by Conan's loud shout. They were scared and fell to the ground as if they had seen a ghost.

Conan felt a lot of pressure in his heart. It was impossible for him to be quiet. He could not think clearly. This feeling made him very uncomfortable.

I need to calm down! His mind was a mess. He could not calm down at all.

"Conan, if you have a problem, tell us. We can help you," Ayumi asked with worry.

"Conan, you are a member of our Detective Boys. You cannot be this useless," Genta said with his hands on his hips.

"Conan, you should be like Heiji. Calm down when something happens. Only then can you be a great detective," Mitsuhiko said, sounding disappointed.

"Exactly. Big brother Heiji would definitely be very confident," Ayumi's eyes sparkled.

"Sigh, I really miss big brother Heiji. He bought us steak and eel rice," Genta said with an expectant face.

Conan's touched expression froze instantly. He gave a bitter smile in his heart. It looks like I am behind Hattori again.

But these three kids are right. I cannot just give up. Even though Dad is here, I must work hard too. He suddenly stood up and ran out.

"Conan, where are you going?" the three kids called out from behind.

"I am going to the Police Department. You guys go home quickly. Do not follow me."

Ayumi and the others looked at each other.

"Conan is very strange," Mitsuhiko said helplessly.

"Forget about Conan. Let's go eat. I am so hungry," Genta said sadly.

"Okay. After we eat, let's go to Ms. Mi's house to play with Ai."

"Agreed!"

Osaka Prefectural Police Department!

Yusaku Kudo rested his chin on his crossed hands. Many things were placed in front of him. There were books, maps, and even a globe.

Blue-green ribbons. This confusing sentence made him think of many things.

Ribbons could be buildings shaped like bands. They could also be large signs or trains.

Yusaku's eyes lit up. He spread out the map on the table. Then he frowned. He stood up and walked out of the meeting room.

"Officer Sakata, I need a traffic map of Osaka city. I also need an urban planning map and a city rail map."

Officer Sakata was surprised, then he nodded. "Mr. Yusaku, please wait a moment."

Soon, the three maps were placed in front of Yusaku Kudo.

He spread out the planning map first!

The entire urban plan of Osaka appeared before Yusaku's eyes. He looked through it quickly.

His eyes showed a hint of disappointment.

Then he took out the traffic map. He looked at it and frowned. He looked up at Officer Sakata. "Officer Sakata, do you know if there is a train in Osaka that is blue and green?"

"A blue and green train?" Officer Sakata was surprised. He frowned. After a long time, he shook his head. "Most Osaka trains are white, dark green, or blue. There is no blue and green one like you said, Mr. Yusaku."

Yusaku's eyes lit up. "Then, does Officer Sakata know which train station has both dark green and blue trains at the same time?"

"No, they are all separate."

Hearing Officer Sakata's words, Yusaku Kudo frowned deeply. Was his reasoning wrong?

"Dad, check the buildings or trains in Osaka. Blue-green ribbons should refer to those," Conan said in an excited tone over the phone.

Yusaku gave a helpless sigh. "I checked. There are none."

"None?" Conan was surprised. His excited expression suddenly became dull.

"Mr. Yusaku, why don't you ask Heiji?" Officer Sakata suggested from the side.

Hearing Yusaku's words, Conan's eyes lit up. "Dad, since we are in Osaka, Hattori must know more. I will call him right away."

Conan hung up the phone quickly.

Heiji came back from outside. He was carrying two bottles of water. Of course, he was wearing gloves.

Yukiko was still unconscious!

Just as he returned, the phone rang again.

That guy Kudo? Heiji answered the phone helplessly. "Hello."

"Hattori, do you know anything in Osaka that is shaped like a ribbon and is blue-green?"

"This is about Yukiko, right?"

The other end of the phone suddenly went silent.

"You know everything already?"

"Lawyer Kisaki also asked for my help." Heiji put the things down and sat on the sofa.

"Then, do you have a clue?" Conan asked expectantly.

"No. There are too few clues."

Heiji's words made Conan a bit disappointed. At the same time, he felt strangely relieved.

"However, I suggest you go to Tsutenkaku."

"Tsutenkaku?"

"Yes. The height of Tsutenkaku will let you see more clearly. I am outside right now, so I cannot go there."

"Thanks, Hattori." Conan hung up the phone quickly.

Heiji let out a sigh of relief. He shook his head helplessly. It seemed he had provided too few clues.

He looked at Yukiko. He picked up a bottle of water and walked over.

"It is time to wake up."

Yukiko opened her eyes sleepily. Suddenly, her pupils shrank. She looked at Heiji standing next to her with fear. "You... what are you going to do?"

"Drink some water."

"I will not drink."

Heiji frowned. He opened the water and held it to her lips. "Drink."

It was already after five in the afternoon. She had not drunk water for six or seven hours. Yukiko's lips were a bit dry and cracked.

Yukiko looked at the criminal. A flash of fear went through her heart. I cannot make him angry, or I will be the one who suffers.

She immediately took a small sip.

"I... I have had enough."

Heiji did not bother with her. He went back to the sofa and sat down.

Yukiko's situation was a bit awkward now. The urge to use the bathroom was getting stronger and stronger.
