Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: B-Rank Mission: Destroy the Hideout of the Men in Black Organization

Upon receiving Gin's call, a flash of doubt crossed Kir's eyes, but she didn't show it.

"Come in. You must leave before nightfall."

After saying that, Kir left directly.

Heiji smiled slightly, drove the BMW in, and parked it in the farthest corner.

"A Porsche, a Citroën... that cars with such a large price difference are in the same parking lot, it seems that this gang is in the middle of a meeting."

Heiji simply made a casual analysis; anyway, it had nothing to do with him.

Underground bar!

As Heiji's figure slowly disappeared from the screen, a sinister and cold glint flashed in Gin's eyes.

"Boss, I found him. Heiji Hattori, son of the chief of the Osaka Prefectural Police, Heizo Hattori, a kendo master and also a rather famous high school detective in the Kansai region," Vodka said, looking at the computer screen.

"A high school detective?" A cold smile appeared on Gin's lips. "Chianti, have you found the body of that Shinichi Kudo yet?"

"No, but he hasn't appeared either," Chianti replied.

"Keep looking. Missing doesn't mean dead. Go search his house. Oh, and have Shiho Miyano go with you," Gin said coldly.

"Understood." Chianti nodded.

"Boss, you gave Shinichi Kudo the APTX 4869. It's impossible for him to have survived. Why waste more time on it?" Vodka asked, confused.

"Idiot. As long as the body is not found, his death cannot be confirmed. Keep searching."

Gin's position in the Men in Black Organization was unquestionable. With the exception of Vermouth, everyone else was under his control.

"Yes, boss." Vodka nodded.

"And what do we do with this Heiji Hattori?" Chianti asked.

"Ignore him."

Gin didn't want to provoke the son of the chief of the Osaka Prefectural Police. He had an important transaction coming up and it wasn't a good time to cause a big commotion.

Heiji didn't know it was a hideout of the Men in Black Organization; he simply thought it was the base of some criminal gang.

"Heiji, where have you been? We've been waiting for a long time."

Kazuha and the other two girls had been waiting in the same place.

"Why wait for me? Didn't I tell you to go ahead and shop? We could have just called each other." Heiji was speechless. Why did they have to wait for him? He couldn't even take a break.

"Ran and Sonoko also said they wanted to wait for you, it wasn't just me who insisted," Kazuha said smugly.

"Heiji, we've waited so long for you that you have to treat us," Sonoko said casually.

"Sonoko, that's not right," Ran said helplessly.

"Of course it's right. Treating two beauties to a meal is a real pleasure."

"Why two? There are three of us here," Kazuha asked curiously.

"Silly, because Kazuha is an ugly bug," Heiji said with a mischievous smile.

"I hate you! I hate Heiji more than anyone!"

Although she said that, Kazuha hugged Heiji tightly, her beautiful eyes shining with a light, full of happiness.

A shadow of sadness crossed Sonoko's eyes, while Ran's were filled with deep envy.

"Well, well, today we're going to bankrupt Heiji."

Sonoko recovered quickly, pulling Ran and shouting loudly.

For a whole morning and afternoon, Heiji was dragged by the three girls through the most rowdy areas of Tokyo, his arms laden with all kinds of bags.

"Sonoko, I don't want this anymore, don't buy anything else."

"Yeah, Sonoko, we've bought enough already."

Kazuha and Ran felt helpless. Sonoko had been paying all day, buying things worth more than four million yen, all for the two of them, and... well, Heiji also received something.

"Don't worry, my older sister ordered me to. She said you were scared last time, so this is to make up for it. My sister is already working, so if it's free, it's free," Sonoko said with a smile.

"But..."

"Come on, she's the young lady of the Suzuki Corporation. Are you really worried she doesn't have money?"

Heiji interrupted Kazuha and Ran. If he let them continue, they would probably take much longer. At that moment, all he wanted was to go home, take a shower, and sleep comfortably.

Shopping with women was an activity that quickly drained mental, physical, and spiritual energy. Not even a body of steel could withstand it.

"It's not that. I don't usually spend money recklessly either. I don't want you to misunderstand me, Heiji."

Sonoko hurried to explain, as if she didn't want Heiji to get the wrong idea.

It was already dusk. The winter days were short and the sky darkened in the blink of an eye.

"Heiji, why did you park the car in a place like this?"

Sonoko was speechless. Everything around was gloomy and scary.

"Didn't I tell you not to follow me?"

He had originally told them to wait where they were, but they insisted on coming. This was a gathering place for gangs; fights could break out at any moment and deaths were a common occurrence. It would be strange if it weren't gloomy.

"It's just that I didn't want to have to wait for you for another eternity."

Kazuha said with a pout. She looked around and, instinctively, hugged Heiji tighter.

Ran and Sonoko hugged each other, both with expressions of fear.

Meow~~~!!!

A black cat ran past them, causing the three girls to scream in panic.

Heiji looked helplessly at the girls on his left and right. Both of his arms were held. Although the soft and rounded sensation was pleasant, shouldn't they maintain a little decorum?

"I'm sorry, Heiji."

Ran quickly let go of Heiji, a blush crossing her face.

"One of you practices Aikido and the other Karate, and you're scared of a black cat..."

"What are you talking about! The atmosphere here is really scary. Heiji, let's go quickly."

Kazuha hugged Heiji and quickened her pace. She didn't want to stay a second longer.

"Boss, Heiji Hattori is back, with three women," Vodka said, looking at the screen.

"Ignore him," Gin said indifferently.

The way was clear; no one came looking for trouble.

Once back in the car, the three girls finally sighed in relief, urging Heiji to hurry up and leave.

"Heiji, quick, let's go!"

Heiji had no choice but to start the car and leave.

As the car passed by an underground bar...

"B-Rank Mission activated: Destroy this hideout of the Men in Black Organization. Time limit: one day."

The cold, mechanical voice of the system suddenly echoed in his mind.
