Chapter 55 - Chapter 55 The Classic Tool, The Take-Copter

Seeing the message sent by the Group Owner in the group chat, Nobita felt a surge of restlessness in his heart, barely able to suppress his itching greed.

'If I just steal a few tools to play with, Doraemon won't get mad, right?'

Looking at his own already distorted face in the mirror, Nobita clenched his fists, his shoulders trembling slightly.

Finally, the infinitely expanding greed in his heart overcame his guilt towards Doraemon.

"Doraemon! Doraemon! I'm so thirsty, can you pour me a glass of water?" Nobita's eyes shifted, and he called out loudly, his acting very forced.

He was just a fourth-grade child, so his acting was clumsy and easily seen through by outsiders.

But Doraemon was simple-minded and had just started to feel hopeful about Nobita.

Why would he associate such an ordinary matter with something bad?

"Coming, coming! Sigh, you can't even pour a glass of water yourself? You're truly hopelessly lazy." Doraemon trotted over, his face full of helplessness.

At that very moment, a sharp glint flashed in Nobita's eyes, and he suddenly fell forward.

Splat…

A full cup of water splashed onto Doraemon's Four-Dimensional Pocket, soaking it thoroughly.

"Ah! Sorry, sorry! I was too careless! Doraemon, are you okay?" Nobita stood up, putting on an act as he hurriedly apologized.

Doraemon, however, looked utterly dejected, his face crestfallen.

"It's ruined! I just got a new batch of tools! If they're damaged, how many dorayaki will I have to pay for?" He was hopping with anxiety, completely forgetting to blame Nobita.

"I wonder if it's too late. If I take them out to dry now, maybe I can reduce the losses a bit." Doraemon muttered to himself, headache evident, thinking of emergency measures.

And Nobita stood to the side, his glasses reflecting a strange light.

'Just as the Group Owner had predicted.'

Doraemon, with his short legs, waddled off to the yard.

He shook out the tools from his pocket and laid them out to air under the open sky.

'So the next part of the script should also follow what the Group Owner said...'

"Nobita, I'm going to the future world to buy some repair tools. Remember to tell Mom that the wallpaper in the yard is Four-Dimensional Sticker, and most of the tools from my pocket are airing on it. Make sure she doesn't accidentally put it away." Doraemon waved, instructing with concern.

"Don't worry, I'll tell Mom right away." Nobita waved back, a curve lifting the corner of his mouth.

Doraemon nodded, reassured, and turned to leave.

At this moment, he didn't yet know what a mistake he was making.

Human nature is inherently evil. The foolish things a fourth-grade elementary school student can do are far worse than what adults might imagine.

[The Nap-Loving Sharpshooter: @Dark Group Owner, Group Owner, you're truly amazing! Doraemon did exactly as you predicted, left the tools for me to watch and went to the future world alone.]

[Dark Group Owner: Of course. The Darkening Chat Group spans the river of time and space, it's the hub controlling the laws of fate and causality. Predicting something like this is very easy.]

[The Dead-Last Jinchuriki: Pfft, Group Owner Mister, please speak human.]

[Second Pillar Thinks He Can Do It: Although I don't like Naruto, Group Owner, you're really even more pretentious than me.]

[This Queen Is So Beautiful: Even the way the Group Owner shows off has a unique charm. Love it, love it.]

[True Love Is Agumon: Tch, can the person above stop sucking up? In my opinion, what the Group Owner said is the truth, right, Boss Group Owner?]

[Dark Group Owner: …]

Several black lines instantly appeared on Hattori's forehead, his fists clenching.

'These damn group friends ruined the atmosphere I had painstakingly created.'

[The Nap-Loving Sharpshooter: Hahaha, Group Owner, you're so amiable. You all seem like really nice people.]

Seeing the harmonious scene in the group, Nobita couldn't help but smile knowingly.

His wariness towards Hattori actually decreased quite a bit.

[The Nap-Loving Sharpshooter: By the way, Group Owner, what did you mean before about sending me to a place where no one knows me? Is there something among Doraemon's tools that can help me run away from home?]

Nobita asked curiously.

As a standard good-for-nothing kid, he was scolded by his mother and bullied by school tyrants every day.

His life could be described as bleak.

The idea of running away from home had crossed the minds of children his age more than once.

However, for a fourth-grader like Nobita, what he understood by 'running away from home' was mostly being away for three to five days, like a fun outing.

But what Hattori wanted to guide him towards was embarking on a dark path far from comfort, one that cleared all obstacles.

[Dark Group Owner: Of course there is. Look carefully through that Four-Dimensional Sticker. See if there's a tool inside that looks like a bamboo dragonfly?]

[The Nap-Loving Sharpshooter: Let me look.]

Nobita squinted, fumbling through the Four-Dimensional Sticker for a long time.

After a while, he finally pulled out the most classic tool from Doraemon…

The Take-copter!
