Fugaku Uchiha froze at the mention of the name.
"Hirofumi! You're Sasuke's friend, so drop the 'senpai' stuff—just call me Uncle Fugaku!
Of course I remember Shisui! He was the strongest of our clan's younger generation. I even considered passing the clan leadership to him someday. But then he just… disappeared.
Wait—Hirofumi, are you saying there's more to Shisui's disappearance?!"
Hirofumi nodded gravely. "Exactly. Everyone here is a powerhouse, and I've already seen Danzo in action. You've probably noticed something about him. That eye of his? It's Shisui Uchiha's eye—a Mangekyo Sharingan!!!"
"What?!" Fugaku roared. "Hirofumi, you're saying Shisui awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Danzo's behind his death?! He even took his eye?!"
"Exactly! Shisui told Danzo about awakening his Mangekyo, hoping he could use his power to bridge the gap between the Uchiha clan and Konoha. But instead, Danzo ambushed him!
And he ruthlessly took one of Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan eyes!!!"
Fugaku's eyes went blank with shock, his fists clenching tightly. "That damn Danzo! He deserves to die!! Doesn't he know who Shisui was?! Shisui was Kagami's heir!! How dare that bastard do something like this?!!"
"You!! Said!! What?!!"
Tobirama's bloodshot eyes locked onto Fugaku.
He'd just heard Fugaku say that the late Shisui was the heir of Uchiha Kagami?!
Kagami was his student! A fellow disciple alongside Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura!
Seeing Tobirama's furious red eyes, Fugaku let out a bitter laugh. "Hahaha… you heard me right, Second Hokage. Uchiha Shisui was Kagami's heir! Your disciple's heir!!!
It's laughable! Absolutely laughable!!!"
Tobirama felt like his mind was breaking. The shock of it all was too much. Kagami had been an incredible ninja—so exceptional that, if he hadn't been an Uchiha, Tobirama would've considered him for Hokage!
And yet, his heir had been killed by Danzo?!!
