—What are you wearing underneath?— Shōji asked curiously from across the seats.
Tetsumaru pulled back the sleeve of his sweatshirt slightly, revealing a thin, synthetic material clinging to his skin.
—Zentai. I was lucky last time, but I'd hate to end up naked in a fight. This thing holds up pretty well.
Aoyama slowly turned his head from a few seats ahead, a particular gleam flickering in his eyes as he gave the black-haired boy a thumbs up.
Mei, who was next to her other half, narrowed her eyes in the direction of the shinobi, who pretended not to notice anything and continued talking with Shōji.
—You should visit Hatsume, from the Support class. There are all kinds of crazy things in that workshop that could be useful for you.
—I'll consider it— Shōji nodded, interested in the idea.
—Sure, tell the whole damn world about how great the girl is. You should make a vlog or something— the kunoichi grumbled in Tetsumaru's mind while pouting next to him.
They were currently on a UA bus, heading somewhere unknown to do who knows what, as Aizawa kept everything wrapped in mystery. Well, not for Tetsumaru and Mei, but that's beside the point.
The rest of the trip continued normally. The noisy students of class 1-A kept their own conversations going back and forth, ignoring their sensei's attempt to give them any information.
However, the only ones whose mood declined as they approached their destination were, of course, Tetsumaru and Mei.
The reason? This trip would be the end of their advantage as transmigrants, which wasn't much help in the first place, but it was better than nothing.
As with everything else since they entered UA, they didn't remember anything about this arc. They weren't even aware that Muscular was supposed to make his appearance here.
The only reason they knew this would happen was the weirdo with the tooth Quirk, since such a curious character left a strong impression on them that they never forgot, even a decade and a half after reincarnating.
That and, obviously, the cat girls.
But from this point on, they would be going in blind like the others. They only knew random things, like that All Might would fight the evil All Might, but not when that would happen. They also knew about some loli with a horn, and a yandere or something like that, who for some reason fascinated people in their past life.
That was all the information they had. And that made them nervous. At least, Tetsumaru more so, as Mei's mind was occupied with other matters.
—Listen to me, and listen well, Tetsumaru. I don't want you making eyes at the cats, I don't want you looking at them too long, I don't want you letting them look at you too long, I don't want you directing more than ten words at them, and definitely don't let them put a claw, tail, or fang on you! Do we understand each other?
He took her hand and nodded at her mental hisses, which for some reason made her breathe in ragged gasps, as if she were running out of breath.
After a while of pampering his suddenly possessive other half, Tetsumaru noticed the bus stopping.
He sighed inwardly, hoping that none of the cats would take a sudden interest in him and condemn him to a harsh session with Mei to mark him as her property, which would probably get them into trouble with the teachers.
************************************
Aizawa tried to introduce the heroines who were going to accompany them during the camp, but they made their own lively introduction.
His bored eyes scanned his students.
Mineta, as always, was drooling at the female presence. Midoriya expressed his extensive and almost disturbing knowledge about every hero he encountered.
Some with quicker minds realized what was happening. Others, like Sero, sensed that this welcome wouldn't be entirely pleasant for them, and they were already starting to retreat to the bus.
Aizawa purposely ignored the troublesome siblings for two reasons:
First, Nezu had already informed Tetsumaru of some things and he obviously told his sister.
And second, he preferred to maintain a healthy mental image.
Being as observant as he was, he naturally noticed some strange things about those two. When he shared his thoughts with Nezu, he proposed a somewhat crazy theory, but one that might explain some of their oddities.
Mainly, the one related to their perpetual silence when they were alone.
Aizawa knew that if no one was around, the Terumi siblings remained in an unsettling silence, and yet, their expressions sometimes changed.
Grimaces, imperceptible smiles, murderous or exhausted looks. Sometimes they seemed engrossed in a deep conversation, but they wouldn't speak.
—Perhaps they have some sort of unique telepathy between them?— the Principal had suggested. But there was another problem with that theory.
Those two were not blood siblings. Or was it an additional ability they decided to hide as well?
And besides a possible telepathy, which he hoped would be confirmed by one of the Pussy Cats, there was their closeness. Their somewhat inappropriate closeness.
Right now, while the girls were talking to the students, Terumi Mei drew a smile that didn't reach her eyes, while clinging to her brother's arm and seemed to dig her nails into him.
—Kittens who don't arrive by 12:30 won't get any food!— Mandalay announced just before Pixie Bob sent the students flying.
All but two.
—Huh? Hey Pixie, you missed these ones!— Mandalay called out, noticing the presence of Tetsumaru and Mei still in their position.
—No, those two are coming with us— Aizawa intervened, gesturing for both of them to follow him.
Mandalay was about to question the reason, but the dust settled and she saw both students standing on a platform of darkness.
—They would fly to the location anyway, so it doesn't really matter— Aizawa commented with a yawn.
—Huh, isn't that favoritism, Eraser?— Pixie Bob asked, glancing at both students. She quickly recognized Mei as the Festival champion among the first-years, as well as the time she messed with a monster's eye.
—Not exactly. They have their own duties, but I'll wait until we meet up with the other members of your team to discuss that— Aizawa said, closing the discussion.
While the whole exchange was happening, Kouta was sending disdainful looks at the students who still remained there.
At some point, he and Mei exchanged glances. The boy snorted with disdain, but to his surprise, the girl stuck her tongue out at him and turned to follow her sensei.
That irritated him. He swore that if he ran into some fool not as scary as the black-haired boy she was clinging to, he would punch him in the balls.
