I turned to leave, but I couldn't take a single step—his hand was wrapped tightly around mine.
"I really don't want this anymo—" My words died when he yanked my hand and pulled me into a kiss.
My eyes widened. I tried to push him away, but his hand slid to the back of my head, holding me in place so I couldn't pull back. His mouth moved against mine hungrily, his tongue teasing, desperate—like he hadn't tasted water in days. He paused for a moment, and that wicked smile of his appeared. Jerk.
I tried again to shove him, but he opened his eyes—sharp, threatening—silently telling me that if I pushed him away, I'd pay for it. When he finally pulled back, both of us were out of breath. I glared at him, and all he did was flash that same infuriating, triumphant smile. The hallway was quiet. Too quiet. People were staring—wide-eyed, stunned.
