Different now. Not alone. Riley beside her. Jin-Hwa. The surgeon. Callum. The priest. Three others. Seven total.
Squad One. Station One. Castle of Blood.
Lady Crimson version two. Regenerated. Waiting.
"Everyone ready?" Arden asks.
They nod. Gripping weapons. Codebooks. Fear.
Bus 000 appears. Black. Wrong. Doors opening.
"Remember the plan," Arden says. "Enter. Find the fragment. Kill it fast. No hesitation. No counting."
She boards. The others follow.
Reality breaks.
They're in Terminal Zero. Gothic plaza. Familiar. Hated.
But different. Broken. Glitching.
The marble floors flicker. Solid then transparent then solid again. Miranda Magnificent's voice echoes. Distorted. Repeating.
