Naima shot him a mock glare, but she couldn't hold back her laugh. "You're unbelievable."
"Unbelievably hungry, yes," Johann replied instantly, going back to sipping the rawon broth with pure satisfaction.
"I never thought that coffee incident in Jakarta would lead me to… this," Johann said, patting his full stomach. "Everyday full-stomach happiness. You're basically my personal Michelin-star chef."
Naima looked at him with amused eyes. "I'll take that as a compliment," she said, then leaned down to plant a soft kiss on his cheek. Warm, brief, but enough to make Johann's face flush red like he'd been splashed with sambal.
"Hey, that's unfair," he complained playfully. "You cook, you feed me, and then you kiss me? You're setting new hospitality standards."
Naima stifled a laugh. "Don't get used to it, Mister Coffee Accident," she teased, reminding him of how they first met — when Johann spilled coffee all over her clothes.
