Aefia left the other dimension, along with Helio around two days ago. Impossibly, they had arrived slightly later then the time they had gone there. It was exactly an hour later and by the time they had appeared, they ran using their last breaths for the end of the day checking in.
Since the fighting and all had drained every inch of strength from Aefia, she had fallen asleep the second she lay down on her bed at around five thirty, missing dinner and waking the next morning at eight to complete all her homeworks. The most time consuming one was, math and environmental science.
For math, they were asked to learn differentiation and that too, was an expecially tough topic for her. She would usually ask Ms. Avry to go over to the great library of Smod so she could get some answers or hints from the old books, since she didn't have AI in their world, just yet.
The library was another one of Aefia's comfort zones now because she considered it a place to rethink her decisions and what she was about to do next with the inter-dimensional problems. But if she was a little too stressed into those problems, she would read through a few books to distract herself.
As if she was back at Earth, books were still a companion she had that allowed her to move around without worrying about the present world interrupting her. The only problem was the stories were too short and Aefia desperately wanted to go into them and see what happened next.
Some books were in series that were still continued, but ones that had a triggering cliffhanger and didn't continue, they were her least favourite of course, but she still enjoyed the plot since they had very interesting stories and beautiful meanings in them.
Despite being away from technology for a very long time, she still wanted to play a few games before she lost the chance. The way things were going with the Guardians and the missions, she felt like break was a work of fiction itself. I don't even know if that would be possible until I return to Earth.
For her lady, the demoness and her lady's son, Aefia needed to have a place for them to stay, so she had a deal, of a very expensive price, with the Guardians. She made the destroyed world they had cleared, a place for the others to stay and called it their base or whatever her lady wanted to name it.
Aefia didn't give a clear mind to that matter because she only did so as a temporary solution. There was a place she was going to next, that she could claim as her own, but to do that, there was a hardship to face and a lose to create. She was going to own a world, but she needed to find the world owner before that. And that was the price she had to pay, visit to another dimension where even help was almost impossible.
The chimera was turned into a small pet like Puppet, with its help of course. Due to the magic energy that Aefia had fed it, Puppet was almost as powerful as her and it could do almost anything. It was mostly thanks to that, Aefia managed to survive and stay alive at the end of the boss fight.
The chimera dragon was currently with Aefia and it was invisible like Puppet, but only visible to her and other system users because it was her energy that allowed it to become such a size. But one major thing was, it felt like having two cats who could talk and the other who just floated around. It brought memories from Earth back to her.
Sometimes, during training, she would leave the chimera to Helio who would be busy in the other side of building. Since Aefia had concerntrated more of her skills into shooting darts because she couldn't use her arrows and bows at the office otherwise the others would find out. I need to endure like this for another week only. That's seven more days. Five for the next and the last two days of this week.
Although Nada rarely spoke with her for some reasons, Aefia wanted to speak to her about a few matters before the Banquet took place. But she found it risky that Nada might move a little more further from her. After she had come back from the mission, she noticed that Nada was a little more suspisious of her, and Aefia thought it must be because of her eye.

Aefia flipped through the pages of the book that she was looking through. She had desperately looked for a book about the world she had just came from, because if she was going to revisit the world sooner, she might need more details about it and it's peoples. She couldn't just ask for a piece of land in that world without knowing its history and how it had begun.
Although, this time in the library, she was more into the fact that she had many incomplete homeworks to finish up and submit by tomorrow. Mostly was math and Aglic, but she didn't really care about the Aglic much because it won't be of much advantagous for her.
She instinctively pulled out the pieces of assignments that were in their rippled states and revised the informations she had written into the paper. She felt confused by her own handwriting and what she had done after every step.
While holding her pencil, she pulled her hair with her fingers and accidentally tore a few stray hairs. Quotient rule, product rule and now its a combination in a problem solving question?! Rule this, rule that! I am not studying law! Its math and keep it numbers! I swear if I could travel back in time I would kill these math inventors! Aefia pushed the books and papers away in front of her. Her calculator almost fell, which was purchased with two angcles of her own money, not even the foundation.
Before it hit the ground, Aefia caught it with one hand and put it back on the long table. Luckily there was no one else sitting at her table and she could slam her head into the wooden table and take off the fake bandage she had wrapped her left eye with. I don't know why but I really need to have the others know about my healed eye. Seriously, I can't just stay silent and have myself suffer a little more everyday, I am not a pirate.
She recalled how having Puppet around her lifted her mood and she spoke into her deep mind. Hey Puppet! Want to play? I am bored and stressed. And I know you are too.
Suddenly, a small red wolf appeared as pixels gathered and jumped into the air with a trail following it. "Hello Aefia!" It sprang back up and flew into her hand. She managed to catch it in time before it accidentally got squashed by multiple books it had accidentally moved off the table.
Every other paper fell and Aefia only managed to catch her math book in time as her environmental science book fell on the ground and tore out a few pages that could never be glued back. She sat Puppet on her shoulder and got down to pick up her remaining stuff from the ground. She inwardly cursed, but she didn't let Puppet hear it as she had forgotten that it could read her mind too.
"I mean sorry, I...didn't mean it. It's my environmental science book ripped apart and it costed me a huge price that...went out of my own pocket so...I was a bit mad." Aefia quickly added after she had recollected and sat back at the table. "By the way, how did you get such a beautiful trail all of a sudden?"
"Oh this?" Puppet sprang back up in the air and flopped down on Aefia's palm. "It's just I didn't really use up the magic energy you had stolen from her lady. So I used it instead, such a precious amount of magic won't be worth using on useless stuff like world building. And I kept it so you may use it sometimes, you get a very wonderful feature too with it."
"What? Wings from the back of my head?" Aefia recalled. "But they are just for show, are they not? You can keep using it if you want. And please don't be such a cat, don't drop things around." She spoke as she guarded her stationaries properly for Puppet to play around in.
While springing around, Puppet dropped another one of Aefia's book to judge her patience. It was her environmental science book again, and she lost her temper. "Just what are you doing! Stop that!" Aefia softly shouted.
"You have money from your mission. And it was around fifty angcles after you had split it among your entire team!" Puppet spoke out loud. This time, it dropped her water bottle into the carpet, that was considered as vandalism and would be presented as a crime in Nikoan.
"Oh right! If things could get worse, this is how. Go to sleep Puppet!" Aefia got down to pick up the bottle and dry the carpet, but the way she was using her Flames of Eternity skill would take her a very long time. Suddenly, the chimera dragon appeared and started blowing blue fire onto the ground as it instantly dried up, no burns nor signs of there being damage.
"Cindy was a little too bored to just sit around, so I had to bring her." Helio walked in and took a look at her books. "This is some serious damage, did Puppet do that?"
"Yes! It has been such a cat the entire time! And it's not listening." Aefia said as she held the chimera dragon on her hand. "And how did you know it's name is Cindy?" She asked with confusion.
"Linday said so."
"Who is Linday?" Aefia asked even more confused. "Just what is going on!"
"Like how your wolf is called Puppet, my lizard is called Linday and it told me that the chimera dragon's name is Cindy." Helio explained. "Although I was thinking about renaming my lizard a new name which fits it better, like Lyndey."
"So they all have names but only I wasn't aware." Aefia spoke out after a long moment of silence. "Anyway, have you completed your math homework?"
"Yes. I had them all done a long time ago."
"Great!" Aefia stood up while slamming her hands on the table. "Do mine too and maybe I will pay you more from the money I had gotten after completing the mission." She said as she pushed the pile of papers towards Helio, who was still standing up.
"...Seriously?! And what are you going to do?" He asked while looking at the stacked pieces of assignments.
"I don't know? But I also have to find a revised copy about the world we just came from. I might be going on a much more difficult mission and talk to a higher up in another big dimension." Aefia spoke as she looked around the entire library.
"How big? And how important?" Helio asked while lifting the pencil laying still on the table.
"I might go and pay a visit to the...underworld? But I don't know, the Guardians are working on sending me there, and I am not sure if I will find them there. I had killed their beast form and I doubt they would even want to listen to my explanation." She looked at a nearby shelf, the one she regularly visited. "And I don't even know the name of the world we went to! Nevermind, I will complete my own homework by myself."
She angrily stomped back towards the table while Puppet hovered in front of her face while holding her cheek. "You look slightly stressed and that is making me feel uneasy. Let's go play!"
"No, no playing. You tore my book, an expensive one." Aefia said while carrying it on her palm. She slowly walked back towards her table and picked up the pencil while opening her while book and flipping open to her homework page.
"Hold on...wasn't this book torn?" She asked while rustling through the remaining of the book. It was shining like a new copy and there were no rips or tears, not even the small drawings she had done when she was bored.
"He restored it." Puppet spoke as it leaned against the pile of stacked books and stayed there, not making anymore trouble. "I am sorry about the book, now let's go play! I am really bored."
"But if I am bored, then you are bored too, so why am I bored? I am supposedly busy right now, am I not?" She asked while confusedly looking around. "No I have a feeling something is about to turn the tables around this library. I am not bored, I am just stressed about that." She spoke while holding her head.
Puppet flew up and sat on her head. It snuggled against her hair like it were its bed. Aefia held her pencil and suddenly a question popped into her mind. "How did you restore the book?"
"I thought you knew?" He responded with a curious face. "There was a little bit of your magic energy stored into our weapons."
"So you are holding your weapon...in a library!" Aefia replied with concern. "Maybe its the thing about adjusting into a new world."
Suddenly, a piercing headache went through Aefia's brain as she struggled to think carefully and this made her look towards the direction her eyes rolled to.
Her eyes stayed locked at the private area of the library. It was already a statement that it had books about rituals and it could be just any sort of ritual. And even if there were a ritual happening, it was lining up exactly with the preparations for the day the destruction was going to happen.
She stood up too quickly and this made her headache worse. This time, her nose started bleeding due to the excruciating pain going through her mind which worsened the more she walked towards the private area. As soon as the sight of an open door was caught from the side of her eye, she grabbed Helio's wrist and ran into the restricted area of the library.
