"Thanks, Tiona." I thanked Tiona as she nodded.
"No problem, I was lucky to find her on the 5th floor." Tiona said as she turned around to go inside the manor.
"So, can you tell me why you went to the dungeon?"
I looked at Ais with a look that every annoyed teacher has.
"I thought I could come in time before you notice anything." Ais said
'Wow, she's honest. She didn't make any excuse like getting a little stronger before the training.'
"Ais, the dungeon will always be there, but the training I'm giving might not always be there." I said with a serious face.
"What do you mean?" Ais asked with a confused face.
"What I mean is that currently the Evilus is doing something we don't know, but what if they attack us by surprise? What if I died in one of those attacks? Who do you think will teach you to become stronger?"
I made sure to stop for the words to sink in her mind.
"You won't die." Ais said with confidence.
"I know, but I'm saying, what if that happened, what would you do in this kind of situation?"
My words made Ais look down, feeling wrong.
"I'm sorry."
"I don't want you to be sorry, I want you to be better."
'What they said is true. Words hit harder than anything.'
"Now, let's forget about the past and focus on what we're doing now." I said, making Ais nod.
"Now I want you to sit down and clear your mind. If you manage to do that, you will be able to proceed to the next step, which is measuring the strength of your blade. Connect these two, then attack on one point."
I told Ais the steps for Great Slash.
"Umm"
"What's wrong?"
"How do I clear my mind?" Ais said with a straight face.
"Don't think of anything, try to feel at peace."
Even with my explanation, Ais didn't understand.
'Ok, let's do this one.'
"Think of yourself killing the dragon and saving your mother, then imagine yourself having the full day with her."
Ais did what I said. The only thing I have to do is to wait.
"Doesn't that mean that Ais needs to think of this every time whenever she wants to unleash the attack?" Riveria said with a confused face.
"That's why she's training for it. She needs to find a happy moment where she feels at peace, then she will focus on this feeling."
"I see, that's actually a good way for her." Riveria said, knowing this might work for Ais.
"Yeah, but the difficult part is the second one, where she needs to measure her strength."
"And why is that?" Riveria asked, looking like she wanted to know more about the nail art.
"It's simple if she hits too hard, then the weapon might break, or she hits like usual. Hit softer the attack will be weak. It's like a balance, not too weak and not too strong; it has to be in the middle."
"This might be easy for Ais." Riveria said, Teaching Ais made her know her capabilities.
"It's not easy, Riveria, even the masters of these arts take some time to focus."
Looking at Ais, who's smiling, I sound much like Sly when I'm teaching.
"This might take some time; maybe I should try something with silk until she finishes." I said, summoning my silk to test its capabilities.
(15 minutes later)
Ais opened her eyes as the first thing she saw was Allen building a huge web with silk, with Riveria on the other side, seeming to wait for him to finish.
Allen noticed Ais has finished her dream peace.
"Ais now do the next step." Allen said as Ais nodded.
Though she was curious about what Allen was doing, she could ask him after she finished.
"Riveria, use your strongest spell."
"Fine, but if anything gets destroyed, then you will pay for it."
"Yeah, yeah, I know, just use it already."
Allen stepped aside to avoid the attack that was coming.
Riveria started chanting her strongest spell at the silk, curious about how strong the silk was that Allen was so proud of.
'From what I know, she can utilize the Wind element, combining it with other attributes to create a devastating, massive, wide-area attack. It's an effect vast magical current that can sweep away a large number of enemies and is one of the very few spells capable of reaching deep into the mid-layers of the Dungeon from a relatively safe distance.' I thought as she finished her chant.
"Vana Freya"
-BOOM-
The attack hit the web with an explosive sound.
'Yeah, I don't think the web survived.' I thought, looking at Riveria, who seems to focus on the condition of the web silk.
The results were good; the web managed to block the attack by a lot.
True, some of the silk got destroyed, but still, it's better than nothing.
"It managed to stand against my spell." Riveria said with a surprised tone.
"What shocked?" I said with a smirk.
"Please, I didn't unleash the full power of that spell; if I did, the manor would get destroyed." Riveria said, rolling her eyes
"What do you think about it?"
"It works pretty well with defense, but I don't know about its offense."
"I am still working on the attack."
"Show me after you finish. Now let's go check Ais."
'Oh, right, I forgot about her.'
