Chapter 96 - A U - 7

What If Luca Had Twins?

"Twins," the doctor announces during our ultrasound.

I nearly fall over. "What?"

"Twins. Two heartbeats. Congratulations."

Luca's laughing and crying simultaneously. "Two babies? We're having two babies?"

"Apparently." I'm in shock. "Two. At once. How do we—?"

"Together," Luca says firmly. "We handle it together."

Eight Months Later - The Birth

Labor is intense. Longer than expected.

"First baby—boy!" the doctor announces.

Moments later: "Second baby—girl!"

Twins. A son and daughter. Born minutes apart.

"Kai and Luna," Luca names them, exhausted but glowing. "Our perfect pair."

I hold both of them—one in each arm—overwhelmed.

"Two babies," I breathe. "We have two babies."

"And we're going to be amazing parents," Luca says confidently.

Six Months Later

We're not amazing. We're surviving.

Two babies crying at once. Two needing feeding, changing, attention simultaneously.

"I haven't slept in three days," Luca groans.

"I forgot what sleep is," I agree.

But watching them together—Kai reaching for Luna, Luna calming when Kai's near—makes it worth it.

"They love each other," Luca observes.

"Like their parents." I pull him close. "We'll survive this."

"Together."

"Always together."

Three Years Later

Kai and Luna are inseparable. Best friends. Partners in crime.

"Again!" they demand in unison, wanting another story.

Luca and I share exhausted looks.

"One more," we agree together.

Being twin parents is chaos. But also beautiful.

Ten Years Later

"Remember when we thought one baby would be hard?" Luca asks, watching our twins argue over a toy.

"We were so naive." I laugh. "But wouldn't change it."

"Not a single thing." He kisses me. "Our chaos. Our family."

Twenty Years Later - Twins' Weddings

Kai and Luna get married on the same day—double wedding, because of course they do.

"Can't believe our babies are married," Luca cries.

"They'll always be our babies," I assure him. "Even when they're giving us grandbabies."

"Plural? From both of them? We'll be outnumbered again."

"We survived twins. We'll survive grandtwins."

"Did you just say grandtwins?"

"It's a word now."

He laughs, and we watch our twins marry their mates.

Perfect. Chaotic. Everything.

In this universe, they started with double trouble and never looked back.
