Athena turned to him. She had already popped half a dozen grapes into her mouth, probably out of nervous habit.
She quickly chewed and swallowed them. "Uh... I am well, my Lord." She thought for a few seconds, then the words started to spill out a bit faster. "I'm actually glad for the moments I get to come out like this. I enjoy the duels at the tournament, and honestly, testing my limits against strong opponents makes me feel truly alive. Back in the Sanctuary, it can get so quiet, you know? Not that I mind the peace, but sometimes I just find myself pacing around, polishing my armor over and over again, or practicing my forms until the sun goes down just to keep my mind occupied. So being here, even just sitting on a roof feels... different. In a good way."
Cedric studied her. The way she was rambling on was almost as if she was happy to finally speak to someone after a long time.
"Must have felt lonely being the only one there before now?" Cedric mused softly.
