"Huh? Witchcraft?"
Rosalind's blue eyes shook with curiosity as she leaned closer to Cedric and his partner. Actually, she wasn't surprised that he sensed her using witchcraft; she was surprised that a man used witchcraft.
"How is that possible? Men can't be witches." Her voice was part bewildered, part skeptical.
Meanwhile, sometime after she had appeared, Aika had taken out a lamp to illuminate the room.
Under this warm yellow glow, Cedric smiled and replied dryly, "That's what you think."
When Rosalind's brows furrowed questioningly, he shifted his weight, propping an elbow on one knee and gestured loosely with his hand. "I told you. I'm not from the Little Country. This world is big, you know? There are so many things you people here in the Little Country and some other parts of the Inner Kingdom don't even know about. For instance, have any of you even been to the Outer Realm?"
