Chapter 66: Heavenly Transfer Technique and Repatriation

If Aizen knew the original plot of this world, he would immediately notice the difference between this Heavenly Transfer Technique and the original one in Naruto.

In the original world, the Heavenly Transfer Technique was a long-range, super-standard teleportation jutsu — not a true space-time technique. It worked by accelerating objects through special means, sending supplies directly to fixed coordinates rather than manipulating space itself.

Only a few could endure the tremendous strain of the original technique — Tsunade with her Hundred Healings Jutsu, the Third Raikage, the Fourth Raikage, and a handful of others.

But now, after special refinements by Kumogakure, the Heavenly Transfer Technique had evolved. It carried the distinct oscillations of space-time chakra — and in Aizen's perception, it even felt as if it was subtly manipulating time itself.

Dozens of intricate hand seals and formations were executed within seconds. From the outside, the expanding field of distorted space was mesmerizing — a dance between light and shadow, pulsing with unbearable pressure. Once a mere logistical tool, the Heavenly Transfer Technique had now become Kumogakure's most valuable strategic weapon — a jutsu capable of striking anywhere in the world at lightning speed, and retreating just as swiftly.

Though its chakra cost was astronomical and its destructive potential limited, its mobility alone was enough to terrify every great village.

When used for retrieval or reconnaissance, the user had to preserve stamina. But if the operation involved a death squad, then chakra restraint became irrelevant.

Just like now.

Several Cloud Ninjas suddenly leapt up, seizing Aizen and Kakashi, hurling them straight into the Heavenly Transfer Technique as the formation flared to life.

"Based on the spatial flux, we'll reach Kumogakure in approximately three minutes of perceived time," Aizen observed, his voice calm amid the chaos. "A remarkable idea — giving travelers just enough time to stabilize their minds without sacrificing transport speed. Three minutes… an elegant compromise."

Within the pitch-black void of distorted space, Aizen looked around at the chaotic scenery rushing past them. The world seemed to stretch and fold upon itself, light and shadow twisting beyond recognition.

He nodded approvingly, then turned toward Kakashi with a faint smile.

"How do you feel, Kakashi? Is it exciting to witness the truest side of the ninja world?"

"…You knew this would happen?"

"No," Aizen replied evenly, "but I estimated it as a high-probability event."

"What do you mean by high probability…?"

"Based on the behavioral patterns of the Cloud Ninjas and the nature of their village, it was easy to infer they'd attempt something like this," Aizen said. "So I brought you along — to broaden your perspective. Interesting, isn't it?"

"…"

Aizen smiled faintly. "Ah, silence. That's unfortunate, but it pleases me. It shows they're not just relying on theory or research. They're acting — experimenting in the field. That kind of vitality is admirable."

Kakashi, struggling to withstand the pressure within the turbulent space, activated the Blut Vene to stabilize his chakra flow. His body trembled as he resisted the crushing forces around them.

Meanwhile, Aizen adjusted his glasses, calmly studying the distortion of time and space.

The Heavenly Transfer Technique was no simple transport system — it was Kumogakure's strategic core. By reducing spatial stress to a level that even the Blut Vene could endure, the Cloud had achieved unparalleled strategic mobility.

This wasn't limited to people. It encompassed every aspect of warfare — transportation, logistics, relocation of strongholds, and rapid deployment of confidential cargo. The Heavenly Transfer Technique had effectively fused the entire Kumogakure into a single organism — one that could reach any battlefield within minutes, securing absolute mobility and tactical dominance.

But Konoha was far from powerless.

For someone like Aizen, this was just another interesting phenomenon to study.

"An unmarked Heavenly Transfer activation — signal traced to the Konoha envoys. Who—?"

The operator froze as two figures materialized within the teleportation platform — a white-haired boy and a composed young man, both kneeling under the spatial recoil.

Recognition struck instantly.

"It's Aizen Sosuke and Hatake Kakashi!" the operator shouted into the intercom. "Deploy the Kuro Formation and the secondary Transfer Array! Our diplomatic strike brought them here — this is our victory!"

"Your victory?"

Aizen's calm voice echoed across the chamber. Looking up at the descending light and the countless Cloud Ninjas pouring into the room, he sighed softly.

"Theories of quick victory and quick defeat… they are but two sides of the same coin. The ninja world lacks patience. Instead of understanding or planning, they act purely on impulse."

"I thought the Kumogakure Village would have been prepared long ago… but no. Doesn't this mean they're completely unprepared? That actually lowers my opinion of you."

Aizen's calm tone cut through the crackling air.

"While it's admirable to seize an opportunity and act, the fact that lower-ranked ninjas are moving without orders only proves one thing—your central command lacks cohesion."

He adjusted his glasses, eyes glinting faintly under the lightning.

"The integration of departments remains incomplete, and your cooperative chakra control is still in its infancy. Even if combat breaks out, it won't yield any meaningful result. Is this truly a black swan event? I had assumed Kumogakure would act with purpose… yet there's no strategic direction at all. How disappointing."

"What are you babbling about? Swans or not—you're in our territory now!"

The commanding Cloud Ninja pointed at Aizen with newfound bravado. Around them, countless Kumo shinobi materialized in flashes of thunder, surrounding the entire cargo platform.

"If you surrender, we'll spare your lives! You and that kid are smart—join us, and you could become honored elders. But if you resist, don't blame us for what happens next!"

"Even your attempts at persuasion lack refinement. It seems reaching a higher level of evolution within a year will be difficult for you," Aizen murmured, sounding genuinely disappointed. "And that… makes this all rather dull."

As the glow from the Blut Vene of the surrounding ninjas shimmered, a hint of pity flickered across Aizen's eyes—like a scientist watching failed test subjects struggle for meaning.

Then, his gaze shifted to Kakashi, who stood beside him, visibly steadier than before.

"What do you think, Kakashi? From your perspective, what would be the best course of action? How should we escape the threat of the Kumo Ninja?"

"…Is this… a test?"

"Ah, let's call it a simple exercise," Aizen replied with a faint smile. "After all, I've already given you so many hints. Surely, you won't make a mistake."

"…"

(You're this calm only because you're strong.)

Kakashi clenched his jaw, uncertain how to interpret Aizen's detached composure. Lightning flickered outside, reflecting in the young boy's eyes.

As more Cloud Ninjas appeared in bursts of thunder, glowing runes began to crawl across the ground—lines of power overlapping like layers of ancient script.

Kakashi inhaled deeply, then pressed the insignia sewn into his white robe.

Instantly, an overwhelming sense of weightlessness swept through the room. Gravity vanished.

The Cloud Ninjas gasped as their stomachs dropped, their balance destroyed. One of them screamed, "Their shadows—! Their shadows are falling off!"

Aizen nodded slightly. "Yes. Using our own technology to return home… that's the correct answer."

Kunai and shuriken whistled through the air, but neither Aizen nor Kakashi moved to dodge.

The weapons passed through their bodies as if piercing air itself, leaving ripples in their wake. Space folded, and the projectiles were expelled harmlessly behind them.

As previously stated, Konoha possessed the means to counter Kumogakure's teleportation. Being drawn into the Heavenly Transfer Technique didn't mean they couldn't return—it merely activated the contingency they had prepared all along.

"Why do you think we dared to face you—wielders of teleportation technology—without any defensive formation?"

Aizen smiled faintly as the Cloud Ninjas began forming hand seals, their desperation manifesting in wild bursts of chakra.

"By the way," he continued, "this isn't a Reverse Summoning Jutsu, Kumo-nin. Ordinary attacks and sealing circles won't affect us. We've already begun our return through the shadows. You'll need far more research to catch up."

His tone remained almost warm, like a teacher praising diligent but misguided students.

"You are commendable—determined, brave, and unyielding in the face of danger. But attacking without intelligence support is no different from gambling in the dark, hoping to grasp your prey."

"First, ensure your own safety; then, strike at your enemy. That is the principle behind all warfare. Intelligence defines victory. When both sides realize there's no profit in conflict, war will naturally end."

He glanced toward Kakashi, who stood silently beside him, the faint hum of chakra echoing around their feet.

"That, Kakashi, is what we call peace. And with that… today's lesson ends. It's time to go home."

Aizen pushed up his glasses and smiled faintly. "It'll probably take another two years before they understand what they're truly up against. Such an unbearable wait, isn't it?"

Behind him, the Kumo Ninjas shouted in disarray, trapped within an invisible wall as if their worlds existed on separate planes.

To them, Aizen and Kakashi were ghosts—untouchable, unreachable.

"…As expected of Aizen Sosuke," someone whispered from the ranks of Kumogakure. "The man who changed the entire ninja world. He shows no fear… even before an entire village."

But before the last word could settle, a sharp roar cut through the crowd.

"You're too arrogant!"

The ground cracked open with a deafening boom, lightning erupting in all directions.

"Hell Thrust!!"

[TL: I have a small announcement for everyone.

I just released a new fanfic titled "I Just Want to Die and Sit on the Throne of Heroes."

From the title alone some of you probably already know the fandom, but for those who do not, this story is based on the Fate Series. The main character is thrown into the era of Gilgamesh, so expect heroes, gods, and all kinds of divine trouble.

As for the Tensura based fanfic I mentioned before, I decided to stop that project. After reading further into the original series, I found too many plot holes and inconsistencies for the kind of story I want, so I chose not to continue it rather than force a messy fanfic.

If you are interested in the new Fate fanfic, feel free to check my profile and you will find it there.]
