Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Dragon's Treasure

"If you want it, I'll give this to you, little one."

Without noticing any hostility from Ophis, Takeyo extended the small black and white stuffed animal toward her.

"This animal is called a panda. It's a mysterious creature."

Ophis, the Infinite Dragon God, had been captivated by the panda from the very beginning. Even now, her gray eyes remained fixed on the plush toy with unwavering focus.

The panda, even the Infinite Dragon God herself couldn't resist its adorable charm.

"Mm..." Ophis responded calmly, though a flicker of urgency passed through her otherwise emotionless eyes.

She stretched out one small hand, reaching toward the toy.

Finally... finally, she would get to hold that cute, fluffy thing.

"Boy... what do you want?"

Playing with the little panda in her hands, Ophis spoke with the detached demeanor befitting the Infinite Dragon God, a trace of majesty wrapped in endless tranquility.

"Hm?" Takeyo raised his eyebrows slightly.

"A tribute... deserves compensation."

Ophis's cherry-blossom lips parted slightly, revealing the dignified bearing of an ancient and powerful being.

"Then... I want this."

Under Ophis's calm gaze, Takeyo reached out his hand, toward her head.

She watched with mild curiosity, wondering what this weak human intended to do.

Even if Cao Cao directly attacked her with the True Longinus at full power, she wouldn't react. Yet this human dared to reach for her?

Suddenly, warmth spread across the top of her head as Takeyo's hand gently patted her.

Ophis looked up.

That human boy was actually... touching her head?

No creature had ever done such a thing to her before. But... it felt good?

There was something about it that felt like... sunshine? Reassuring. Warm.

"Rumble!"

Suddenly, Ophis's small eyes sharpened.

The world itself began to change!

Throughout Kuoh, no, across the entire archipelago of Japan, the spiritual energy began to fluctuate wildly!

The clouds churned and rolled overhead! The ground trembled slightly, as if a massive dragon were turning in the depths of the earth.

Several terrifying presences manifested instantly, seemingly standing in the gaps between dimensions, watching this small corner of the world!

Ophis, who understood the cause, gazed quietly at the boy before her. For the first time, something resembling desire and eagerness flickered in her eyes.

A few seconds earlier.

Takeyo had gathered his courage and touched Ophis's head.

As he'd anticipated, Ophis showed no adverse reaction.

She hadn't even flinched when stabbed by the holy spear. Besides, she didn't quite understand the significance of head-patting.

[Fusion beginning!]

As the power began to merge with his body, an enormous figure materialized above the earth!

Every living being in the world witnessed this magnificent sight!

It was a colossal fish tumbling through cosmic waves!

Looking closer, within those waves, every single ripple was an entire world unto itself!

Even the largest creature in existence, Jörmungandr, who slumbered in the depths of the Norse realm and was counted among the Five Great Dragon Kings, would be nothing more than a tiny insect compared to this divine fish!

After only a few seconds, the presence of the divine fish faded from the archipelago.

All eyes across the supernatural world turned toward Japan.

Something had appeared there, something greater than even Great Red, the True Dragon!

However, just as they began to process this revelation, the vision repeated!

A silver dragon.

A wild boar that could upend entire continents.

A lion-faced being brimming with both divinity and primal ferocity.

After the divine fish, nine more world-shaking figures appeared one after another!

But each vanished just as quickly, no, more precisely, they integrated into Takeyo's body!

Hindu Pantheon, Mount Kailash.

Shiva stared in surprise at Vishnu, who sat across from him. He knew this power intimately, it was unmistakably Vishnu's!

But Vishnu was right here, in front of him. As beings of equivalent rank, Shiva could tell with absolute certainty that this was Vishnu's true body. So why? Why were there manifestations of such terrifying incarnations appearing in the Japanese archipelago?!

This level of oppressive power exceeded even what he'd sensed from the Infinite Dragon God Ophis and Great Red!

Meeting Shiva's bewildered gaze, Vishnu could only respond helplessly, "I'm telling you, it really isn't me. If I possessed strength like that, we would have unified all the divine pantheons long ago."

Vishnu reached a firm conclusion.

No matter which pantheon this existence belonged to, this power would place them among the absolute pinnacle of all beings in the world!

The Underworld.

Sirzechs, who had been discussing the latest Rating Game developments with Ajuka, felt his eyes flare crimson with the Power of Destruction!

"Ajuka, can you pinpoint where this power is coming from?" Sirzechs asked, his tone grave.

"The human world, somewhere in Japan... it seems closer to Kuoh. I believe that's where..."

Ajuka's voice trailed off as he continued his calculations.

When he'd first detected the disturbance, he'd already deployed his Kankara Formula to derive the central location.

Unfortunately, after reaching a certain proximity, even he, a transcendent-level being, couldn't penetrate any deeper!

"Kuoh Town... that's where both Rias and Serafall's little sister are stationed. Let's hope this is just a coincidence."

Similar reactions erupted simultaneously across divine pantheons throughout the world.

The Norse gods. The Celtic gods.

The Persian pantheon. The Eastern pantheon.

The Shinto gods. The Greek pantheon.

All of them turned their attention toward Japan, the archipelago in the Far East!

Meanwhile, the boy who had caused this worldwide phenomenon finally completed the fusion of Origin Vishnu's ten incarnations.

"This is... incredible."

Takeyo could feel the terrifying level of power coursing through his body!

He knew with certainty that the three strongest incarnations among Vishnu's ten forms were:

Matsya, the first incarnation, the Divine Fish, also known as the "Ark of Salvation."

Kurma, the second incarnation, the World Dragon, the dragon that carried the entire world upon its back, walking through the sea of stars!

Buddha, the ninth incarnation, the Liberated One, the enlightened being who had reached the seventeen full authorities within the world of Little Garden (Mondaiji)!

The other incarnations weren't much weaker than these three. Some even touched the threshold of double-digit tier beings. (Explanation at the end of the chapter)

In the world of Little Garden, the god-kings who represented Vishnu's ten incarnations had no direct connection to one another. Their origins and legacies were similar, but through the evolution of mythology and epic tales, they had long since transcended their original framework to become new, independent entities.

But what Takeyo now possessed was the power of Origin Vishnu, the combined might of all incarnations unified into one!

Standing in the arcade, Takeyo looked down at his hands, watching golden divine energy flicker across his fingertips before dispersing.

He glanced at Ophis, who was now staring at him with those gray, emotionless eyes, though there was something different in them now. Something almost resembling... interest?

"You are different now," Ophis stated simply, tilting her head slightly as she hugged the panda plushie to her chest. "Strong."

"Yeah," Takeyo admitted, releasing a slow breath. "I suppose I am."

The manifestation of those ten divine incarnations had undoubtedly drawn the attention of every major power in the world. He'd need to be careful from here on out. But for now, standing here in this small arcade with the Infinite Dragon God cradling a stuffed panda like a child...

He couldn't help but smile.

"Do you want to get something to eat?" Takeyo asked. "I know a place that sells really good sweets."

Ophis's eyes flickered with that same slight interest. After a moment, she gave a tiny nod.

"Cookies," she said quietly. "I like cookies."

Little Garden (AKA: Mondaiji) Power System Explained:

(Problem Children are Coming from Another World, aren't they?, also known as Mondaiji, is a Japanese light novel series and Anime written by Tarō Tatsunoko and illustrated by Yū Amano.)

What is Little Garden?

Little Garden is a massive realm that exists outside normal space-time. It's where beings from countless mythologies, universes, and realities gather. Think of it as a cosmic arena where gods, demons, spirits, and legendary figures compete.

The Authority/Digit System:

Power levels are measured by "Digits" - the fewer digits, the stronger the being

Single Digit (1-9): Omnipotent-level beings, Multiversal creators/destroyers

Two Digit (10-99): Multi-universal level gods and cosmic entities

Three Digit (100-999): Universal-scale powerhouses

Four Digit (1000-9999): Continental to planetary level beings

Five Digit and beyond: Progressively weaker entities

Authority of the Seventeen:

This refers to beings ranked at position 17 in the cosmic hierarchy. These are entities with power over fundamental concepts like time, space, death, and creation. In Little Garden, reaching this level means you can influence entire mythological systems.

Why This Matters in the Fanfiction:

In this story, Takeyo has gained access to the original source of Vishnu's ten avatars from Mondaiji, not just their High School DxD versions. This means:

Matsya (Fish Avatar): In Little Garden, this isn't just a big fish - it's a cosmic entity that can carry entire universes

Kurma (Dragon Avatar): Literally supports infinite worlds on its back

Buddha Avatar: Has enlightenment-level wisdom that transcends reality.

The author is essentially saying Yang has tapped into multiversal-level Hindu mythology powers, but his human body severely limits how much he can actually use. It's like having access to nuclear weapons but only being able to use a firecracker's worth of power due to physical limitations.

This explains why his avatar manifestations were so impressive that they caught the attention of gods across all mythologies - because Little Garden-tier power operates on a scale that dwarfs even the strongest beings in the High School DxD universe.
