"Interrupting my business, none of you will get off easy!" the girl threatened fiercely.
Thinking she would continue attacking, Ange never expected her words to be a bluff. After shouting her threat, she surprisingly grabbed her brother and turned to run away.
The girl was indeed spoiled, but that did not mean she was stupid. She had already started feeling a hint of retreat when Gardevoir and Gallade defeated her Serperior.
Now that a Lucario had easily repelled both Serperior and Samurott, was she supposed to stay and wait for a beating?
Riley reacted swiftly, immediately shooting a look at Lucario. Understanding the hint instantly, Lucario flashed through the air and appeared directly in front of the siblings in the blink of an eye, slamming an Aura Sphere right at their feet.
The siblings were so startled that they came to an abrupt halt.
"Serperior!"
"Samurott!"
The siblings shouted simultaneously, attempting to have Serperior and Samurott buy them an opportunity to escape.
Serperior and Samurott understood immediately.
Samurott used Shell Smash and charged at Riley.
Meanwhile, Serperior dashed in front of Ange while the siblings turned and ran toward Ange's direction.
Clearly, they figured Ange's side was easier to break through.
Samurott swung its seeshields to attack Lucario, while Lucario dodged with nimble movements, continuously tapping Samurott's vital pressure points with its palms during the evasive maneuvers.
Every single tap from Lucario caused Samurott to feel a sharp wave of pain throughout its entire body.
After a few strikes, Samurott suddenly collapsed to the ground, entirely limp and powerless, unable to support its body to stand up no matter how hard it tried.
As it turned out, Lucario had just used Force Palm and Aura Power to strike Samurott's various acupuncture points, causing Samurott to temporarily lose control of its body.
On Ange's side, Serperior spat out an Energy Ball after rushing over, hurling it straight at Ange.
Ange did not dodge at all.
Seeing this, Riley cried out in alarm, "Watch out!"
The siblings wore looks of surprise, accelerating their pace as they charged toward Ange, intending to break past through his side.
Right at that moment, Ange threw a punch forward, directly shattering the Energy Ball into scattered, sparkling fragments of light that vanished.
The siblings widened their eyes in disbelief, and Riley looked on with astonishment.
At that instant, Gardevoir and Gallade stepped in front of the siblings, blocking and restraining them completely.
"Let me go, quickly let me go!"
Unwilling to be captured, the siblings began struggling violently, but how could they possibly break free from the grasp of Gardevoir and Gallade?
Seeing its trainer captured, Serperior immediately moved to rescue her.
However, Ange was even faster, flashing directly in front of Serperior.
Serperior raised its tail to whip Ange away, but Ange grabbed the very tip of its tail instead.
Serperior tried to pull its tail back, yet no matter how hard it tried, its tail remained completely motionless in Ange's hand.
Then Ange exerted sudden force, shaking his arm firmly so that Serperior's slender body whipped back and forth like a wave.
Under Ange's shaking, Serperior felt completely weak all over, unable to muster even an ounce of strength.
After a round of shaking, Ange hoisted Serperior up with force and slammed it heavily onto the ground.
Serperior's head tilted sideways instantly as it passed out cold.
Over on the other side, Samurott had just managed to crawl up from the ground when it saw its trainer captured and Serperior defeated, throwing it into a panic.
Seizing the opportunity, Lucario materialized a white bone staff in its hand, swinging it fluidly and continuously across Samurott's body in a smooth, seamless sequence that instantly took Samurott down.
After defeating Samurott, Lucario dragged it by one foot back to Riley's side.
Ange walked over to Riley and said, "Thank you for stepping in to help just now!"
Riley shook his head. "No, it should be my meddling instead. With your strength, dealing with those two should have been effortless."
Ange replied modestly, "Not at all, I still have to thank you either way."
Riley suggested, "We should probably take these two to the police station first!"
Ange nodded, then searched the siblings for Serperior's and Samurott's Poké Balls. After recalling them, he accompanied Riley to deliver the pair to the police station.
Upon arriving at the station, Ange contacted Lila directly, leaving the matter in her capable hands.
The pair had used Pokémon to attack him, and Ange intended to hold them legally responsible for their actions.
Finding the procedures bothersome, Ange called Lila to arrange a lawyer for him, leaving all subsequent matters entirely to legal representation.
Having stayed by Ange's side the entire time, Riley naturally learned of Ange's identity from his conversation with Lila, leaving him quite surprised.
He had not expected Ange to be a member of Azoth's royal family.
Naturally, as someone not from Kalos, Riley did not know much about the small nation of Azoth.
Once Ange concluded his call with Lila, Riley pulled out his phone and played a video recording.
"I am sending this to you, it should come in handy!" Riley said.
The recording precisely showed the scene of Ange being cornered by the siblings.
Ever since getting off the train, Riley had been following close behind Ange, thus witnessing the entire confrontation and capturing it on his phone.
Ange happily replied, "Thank you, this is a huge help!"
The two then exchanged contact information, and Riley sent the recording to Ange.
Leaving the police station, Ange was about to bid farewell to Riley when Riley suddenly asked, "Ange, you are an Aura Guardian, aren't you?"
Ange blinked in surprise. "How did you know, Mr. Riley?"
Riley smiled faintly, extending one hand as a blue aura emerged from his palm and powerful Aura waves radiated outward with him at the center!
"Because I am one too!"
Ange widened his eyes. "Such powerful Aura!" It was far stronger than his own.
Riley explained, "I noticed you back on the train."
He then glanced briefly above Ange's head, where the invisible Latias and Latios were hovering. Clearly, Riley had also sensed them through Aura.
"Why couldn't I sense Mr. Riley's Aura earlier?" Ange asked doubtfully. With such a powerful Aura nearby, he should have noticed it!
Riley answered, "Because I concealed my Aura power. The only way you could sense it is if your Aura power surpasses mine!"
Such a person likely no longer existed, as aside from Ange, Riley was already the last Aura Guardian left in the world.
Furthermore, Riley's Aura power was naturally formidable, falling only slightly short of Sir Aaron, the Aura hero of Cameran Palace from hundreds of years ago.
Speaking of which, Riley and Sir Aaron bore a striking resemblance in appearance and style, which always made Ange feel a sense of familiarity whenever he thought of Aaron.
Although Ange had never laid eyes on Aaron himself, he had seen Aaron's portrait in Cameran Palace.
Ange said, "No wonder!"
Riley smiled. "I originally thought I was the only Aura Guardian left in the world, but I never expected to meet you today!"
Ange chuckled. If not for the System, this world might truly have been left with only Riley as an Aura Guardian!
By this point, Riley had fully released his Aura, allowing Ange to perceive just how immensely strong his Aura power truly was. In his perception, it shone as brilliantly as the sun, far beyond anything he could compare to.
"It is an honor to meet you, Mr. Riley," Ange said.
"I am very glad to meet you too!" A sincere smile spread across Riley's face.
After chatting for a short while, Riley invited Ange to dinner together. Having rarely encountered a fellow Aura Guardian, he wanted to converse more with Ange.
However, Ange had pressing matters to attend to, forcing him to decline regretfully. "Are you free tomorrow, Mr. Riley? How about we get together then instead?"
Riley answered happily, "Alright, let's get together tomorrow then."
Since Riley was only out traveling, he had no urgent matters to handle.
After making plans, the two parted ways. Riley headed to the Pokémon Center for lodging, while Ange made his way straight to the Anistar Gym.
Upon arriving at the Anistar Gym, a gym apprentice was already waiting for him at the entrance.
Before coming, Ange had already called Olympia, who had even invited Ange to stay overnight at the Anistar Gym.
Guided by the apprentice, Ange reached the chamber where Olympia meditated.
Sensing Ange's arrival, Olympia, who had been floating cross-legged in mid-air, slowly opened her eyes and descended to the ground.
With a smile, she greeted him, "You're here!"
"Ms. Olympia!" Ange greeted her in return.
Olympia nodded, then shifted her gaze toward Gardevoir and Gallade. "Are these Kirlia's parents?"
Ange nodded. "Yes!"
"Voir voir~"
"Gal gal~"
Gardevoir and Gallade quickly greeted Olympia.
"Hello!" Olympia responded with a smile to the couple.
With a look of surprise, Olympia turned her gaze upward to the top of Ange's head. "It seems another incredible presence has joined you, Ange."
Ange paused momentarily before smiling. "Nothing slips past Ms. Olympia!"
He beckoned to the invisible Latias and Latios, saying, "Latias, Latios, come on out!"
"Lati~as!"
"Lati~os!"
As two dragon cries rang out, the figures of Latias and Latios materialized in the air.
Seeing the true forms of the siblings, Olympia showed a look of astonishment and exclaimed, "Legendary Pokémon, Latias and Latios!"
Previously, she had only sensed an elusive, immensely powerful mental presence floating above, but she had never imagined it would be Latias and Latios.
"Lati~as!"
"Lati~os!"
The siblings blinked and greeted Olympia.
As a person of vast experience, Olympia was surprised, yet she remained composed.
Withdrawing her gaze from Latias and Latios, she told Ange, "Let's begin!"
Ange said happily, "Then I leave it in your hands, Ms. Olympia!"
Gardevoir and Gallade also wore expressions of delight.
Olympia shook her head. "It is nothing. As long as I can help you!"
She walked toward the exit of the meditation room, gesturing to Ange and his Pokémon, "Follow me!"
Hearing this, Ange hurriedly led his four Pokémon along behind her.
Guided by Olympia, they arrived at a special room.
The walls and ceiling here seemed composed of a vast, boundless starry sky, with model planets suspended in mid-air, creating a deeply mysterious atmosphere.
Olympia walked to the center of the room, and the patterns on the floor beneath her feet instantly began to light up piece by piece.
She beckoned to Gallade and Gardevoir. "Gardevoir, Gallade, come over here."
The two Pokémon walked step by step to Olympia's side upon hearing her call.
Olympia extended both hands toward the two Pokémon, and understanding her intent, each placed one hand in her palms.
Ange then saw a faint purple glow emerge around Olympia, spreading from her body all the way to Gardevoir and Gallade, whereupon all three floated up into the air together.
The moment they paused in mid-air, Ange noticed a dramatic shift in the surrounding environment.
The room they were in vanished, as if they had truly stepped into the cosmic starry space, surrounded by pitch darkness save for twinkling, endless stars.
Not far from Ange, Olympia glowed vividly with a purple radiance, making her exceptionally striking.
Gardevoir and Gallade floated on her left and right sides respectively, appearing as though they had fallen asleep.
Suddenly, the cloak behind Olympia unfurled like wings.
The starry patterns on her cloak shimmered incessantly, as though echoing the stars around them.
Abruptly, Olympia snapped her eyes wide open. Her pupils flashed with a dazzling purple light, and immediately afterward, a brilliant display of auroras manifested behind her.
How beautiful! Ange admired silently.
No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than he caught a fleeting shadow flashing within the aurora.
It was Kirlia!
Ange felt as though he saw Kirlia drifting through a monochromatic space of gray and white, its eyes tightly closed as if it had fallen unconscious.
Kirlia's figure appeared for only a split second before vanishing, and then Ange saw Olympia shudder all over.
In an instant, everything in the room returned to normal as Olympia, accompanied by Gardevoir and Gallade, slowly descended from the air.
Ange hurried forward to ask, "Ms. Olympia, how did it go?"
Immediately following that, he noticed Olympia's complexion was slightly pale, with fine beads of sweat dotting her forehead.
Clearly, the divination had taken a massive toll on her stamina.
Concerned, Ange asked, "Are you alright? Would you like to rest?"
Placing one hand on Gardevoir for support, Olympia shook her head gently. "I am fine, I will recover shortly! Let's head outside to talk!"
Ange nodded, stepping forward to assist Olympia alongside Gardevoir as they exited the specialized room.
Seated in another room shortly after, Olympia told Ange, "Ange, I did not foresee Kirlia's location."
Hearing this, Ange, Gardevoir, and Gallade all felt their hearts sink.
Noticing the expressions on the human and Pokémon's faces, Olympia offered comforting words:
"However, you need not be pessimistic. Although I did not foresee Kirlia's location, I saw its future tied to yours!"
Ange and the couple shifted from sorrow to hope, gazing expectantly at Olympia.
If there was a future, did that mean Kirlia was safe?
Olympia continued, "Kirlia may experience some hardships, but it will ultimately reunite with you, and it will return wielding brand-new strength!
You do not need to deliberately search for Kirlia, otherwise it might yield the opposite result. Therefore, simply wait quietly.
When the time comes, fate will bring you back together!"
