Buggy froze for a second. His gaze drifted, sweeping over Shanks and Akainu's life-or-death duel, and then to Rayleigh's silent figure on the execution platform.
He let out a soft sigh and slowly took off his white gloves—something he rarely ever did.

His gaze suddenly sharpened as the power of the Chop-Chop Fruit activated quietly. His voice carried a trace of bitterness and absolute resolve:
"Wouldn't it be better if everyone just sailed the seas looking for treasure?"
"But—some fights, you just can't walk away from!!!"
"BOOM—!!!"
Dragon's breath and severing power intertwined. The silhouettes of Luffy and Buggy crashed into each other like two colliding meteors!
