Seeing Jack still joking around, the girls completely lost their composure.This guy was obviously enjoying the sight of them flailing…
Jack himself wasn't sure whether he should help. If he didn't, it felt wrong. But if he went over to help, he would definitely see everything. That also felt wrong…
But between being a beast and being worse than a beast, Jack decisively chose the latter.
"Hang on, I'm coming."
He called out very seriously and rushed toward Rias.Slimes specialize in paralyzing magic and then eating away at it. Since the girls' clothing was woven entirely from magic, they were the slimes' perfect target.
By now, they were covered in little balls of green slime.
"Ugh, it's all over me… so cold, so gross…"Rias clutched her chest, unable to move her arms because the slime had completely wrapped them. Jack was shocked at how talented this slime seemed to be.
Damn… this thing was good at its job.
He stepped forward with a grin and grabbed the slime wrapped around Rias's wrists, trying to pull it off.Only when he tugged did he realize how tough its body was. He pulled several times with brute force and still couldn't snap it.
"This thing… I'm starting to think my idea was right. Its support abilities are amazing."
Was this really a slime? Why was it this strong?If he could enhance this trait, it'd be an amazing support creature.Too bad it seemed to only target women… now that was a problem. Big limitations.
Rias struggled against the slime and shot him an irritated look.
"What are you thinking? Slimes are extremely common and extremely annoying. Familiars are very important to devils, Jack. Think it through before picking one."
Before she finished, several more blobs of slime plopped onto her. The cold sticky feeling made her gasp again.
"My my… this is a sorry sight." Akeno gave a helpless smile. Her remaining clothing had already been eaten through.Her figure was even more mature-looking than Rias's, and Jack's eyes got quite the feast.
He coughed a laugh. "Joking aside, these slimes really understand guys, don't they."
His eyes drifted very meaningfully across the group of beautiful girls.
Koneko had finally had enough. She stepped forward, lifted her bound hands, grabbed Jack's cheeks and twisted his head aside with a sharp snap.
"Ow! That hurts!"
With the strength she had, she almost snapped his neck.
"Please do not look."
Koneko's voice was flat as always. Small as she was, she still refused to let him go. Jack genuinely worried she might lift him off the ground by the head.
"Okay okay, I won't look. Let go already."
Only then did Koneko release him. Jack turned back around… and promptly saw the now-completely-bare Koneko.Petite she might be, but she was definitely a beauty.
"…Don't feel bad, Koneko. Even if you're not as big as Rias or Akeno, you're still super cute."His voice came out soft and sincere.
"…"
Koneko's golden eyes narrowed again. Her adorable face was clearly about to explode in anger. Jack hurriedly pulled out the Sword of Kings.
"I'll use this to help."
He slid the blade between the slime binding her wrists and gave a gentle pull.The sharp sword sliced the slime cleanly. Koneko's hands popped free. She immediately erupted with strength, tearing the rest of the slime off her body and slamming it into the ground.
Splurt.
Jack winced and silently prayed:Farewell, brother. You died bravely.
He moved on to help Rias. Once freed, she immediately cast flame magic and burned the slime on her body into ash.
When he went to help Akeno though, the slime seemed to sense danger and yanked on her. She stumbled right into Jack. He tried to catch her but ended up falling forward, pinning her beneath him… and getting a full face of Akeno Onee-san brand "facial cleanser."
"Oh my…"Akeno let out a soft sound, smiling sweetly."Looks like Jack has reached that age."
"Jack is so pervy."
Koneko commented expressionlessly, still hung up on his earlier remark about her figure.
"Jack…" Asia's eyes welled up. "I-if you really want… I can help you…"
Jack pushed himself up with a deadpan look. "What are all of you even talking about."
He glanced down at Akeno under him and sighed. "It wasn't on purpose."
"Hehe, I know, I know. Come on, help your big sister."
Even with Jack sitting on top of her and completely bare, Akeno smiled warmly and held out her slime-covered hands.
One clean swing of the Sword of Kings freed her. Akeno flipped up immediately and cast magic without hesitation. Golden lightning crashed down from the sky, obliterating the slimes completely.
Koneko also freed Asia, and with a flash of magic, the girls' normal outfits were restored.
Jack looked at them and said with real regret, "But I still think the slime was pretty great…"
"No." Rias rolled her eyes without even thinking.
Jack sighed, shook his head and gave the slime a respectful half-second of silence for the eye candy it had granted him. Then he quietly walked forward.The girls followed.

A few minutes later, rustling sounded deep within the forest. Jack stopped and narrowed his eyes.
A figure stepped out of the trees.
"Ah, it's Mr. Zatouji…"Asia's eyes lit up because beside Zatouji was the little blue dragon.
"Whew, took some effort but I finally got it to listen. So, which of you wants to form a contract with it?"
Zatouji beamed as he looked at the group.
"Give it to Asia," Jack said casually.
"Alright. And you, young man? What kind of familiar do you want?"
Jack tilted his head, thinking for two seconds. Everyone stared at him, waiting.He finally spoke in a low, meaningful voice.
"I still want that one."
The girls didn't even think.
"No."
All in unison, perfectly calm.
Jack: "…"
Zatouji: "...??"
"..."
