"So, how'd it go? You manage to get her home okay?"
"Yeah, she was struggling but somehow managed to stay conscious long enough," Aria nodded, before flopping onto the bed beside me and snuggling up.
I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her closer towards me, giving her a kiss on the side of the head.
"That's good. We'll pick up where we left off in a day or two, then," I suggested thoughtfully.
"Yeah, sounds good. What did you think, by the way? I know it didn't last very long, but I thought she put on a pretty impressive showing," She responded with a smile.
"Mhm, definitely. She's got room for improvement, but she's at an impressively high level considering her lack of experience," I nodded in agreement.
"I was thinking the same thing. Though, her inexperience did show at the end there...she opted to use lightning as a defense after I blinded her, even though she already knew I've got Elemental Immunity," She pointed out.
