Chapter 88 - Chapter 88: At Last, Divine!

"What's happening—an earthquake?"

Xingyun Baobao, round as a dumpling, rolled over in alarm. The whole castle was trembling, and a deep, thunderous roar echoed through its walls. He rubbed his eyes, dazed, but even half-asleep he could feel the vibration in his soul—Fang Han's three shouts of 'Divine Power!' weren't just noise. They shook heaven and mind alike.

"What in the world is going on?"

Princess Hongyi rushed out from her chamber, spiritual energy swirling around her as she flew toward the alchemy hall. Crane Fairy awoke next—her feathers, once snow-white, now glowed with a pale platinum sheen, smooth and lustrous like cast metal. Her entire form had shrunk slightly, but every line of her body radiated power.

The Platinum Blood Pill had ignited the latent Demon Emperor bloodline within her, reforging her body anew. Once Fang Han had the chance, he planned to use the Sun and Moon Five-Star Bracelet to temper her even further—then she would truly become a divine crane, able to battle even Asura-class demons.

Sensing the disturbance, she spread her gleaming wings and raced toward Fang Han's chamber.

Even the White Demoness—the Great Asura—was startled from her meditation. She had been silently refining her essence, trying to erase the Forgetful Charm Fang Han's dragon had branded upon her spiritual gate. But the waves of psychic power rippling through the castle jolted her heart. She gathered her mana and shot through the air like lightning.

A master of the Divine Power Realm needed no flying sword. Their bodies themselves were conduits of law—swift as thought, free as the wind.

By all logic, a mere mortal cultivator could never stand against a Divine expert without the aid of a sacred weapon. Even Fang Han, for all his ferocity, would not have survived against the Demoness without Yan's help.

Now, Xingyun Baobao, the demoness, the crane, and the princess all gathered outside the furnace room. Fang Han's form was submerged in boiling Forgetful Water, his body engulfed in starlight and Lawfire. The air shimmered with tension.

Xingyun Baobao watched with wide-eyed wonder. The Crane and Princess Hongyi watched with hope. The demoness watched with hidden dread—if Fang Han truly ascended, her days of dominance were numbered.

But Fang Han's cultivation moved with a will that belonged only to him. No one could sway it.

His mind blazed like a sun. His consciousness, once crystalline and still, now boiled with energy. Blood surged upward, flooding his brain, battering at the unseen gates within. Channels that had never before carried thought were bursting open, every hidden crevice of his mind illuminated by power.

Inside him, the world overturned. His three roars—"Divine Power! Divine Power! Divine Power!"—were not merely words; they were a declaration to the cosmos, to life and death, to heaven and earth themselves.

Each roar was a hammerstrike on the door of divinity—

the door of the human spirit.

"The body holds law that outlives time,

The mind wields power that spans eternity.

The will swallows sun and moon,

The soul roams the boundless void!"

Suddenly—boom!

His head erupted in soundless light.

The Heavenly Gate opened.

A surge of spiritual force shot upward, connecting sky and earth. Fang Han felt his soul detach from flesh, floating, weightless—consciousness unfurling like wings.

Then—

The Sun and Moon Five-Star Bracelet flared to life, releasing endless star-radiance that wrapped around him like a cocoon, suppressing his scattered soul-force. The light and his spirit merged—then condensed, transformed, and poured back into his mind.

In that instant, his entire consciousness shifted.

What had once been thought now became force.

Spirit became substance.

He could feel it—this vast, surging energy coursing through his skull like a living river. It moved when he willed it, gathering and dispersing at command.

"Lawforce… this is Lawforce!" he gasped.

"My spirit has transformed into power! I've done it! I've entered the Divine Power Realm!"

Within his mind, a dragon of essence coiled and roared, a tiger of breath prowled and leapt. They were born of his own will—his extensions, his limbs, his wings. The energy they exuded dwarfed even the strength of his Yama-forged flesh.

This was true Lawforce—the might only Divine Realm cultivators possessed.

To wield it was to transcend the human frame:

to fly through the air, command fire and lightning, shift mountains and rivers, and even extend one's life beyond mortal span.

Boom!

Fang Han erupted from the cauldron, Forgetful Water cascading in golden spray. He wanted to know—was this real? Or illusion?

"Ah—!"

The others watched, stunned. Fang Han hovered in midair, untouched by gravity. Around him spiraled a wild torrent of air, like a living dragon winding around his form. The pressure rippled outward, shaking the hall.

The wind thickened into shapes—cranes, serpents, tigers, wolves—then shifted again into swords, halberds, and spears of pure air. The room howled with power.

Whooooosh!

The gale tore through the furnace hall, scattering debris and shaking the castle to its foundations.

Then Fang Han laughed—a deep, thunderous sound that rolled like stormclouds. He stretched out a hand and struck toward the far wall.

A phantom palm of compressed air shot forth—

Boom!

Three feet of granite shattered like clay, exploding into rubble. Fang Han twisted, seized the air again, and raked downward.

Shhhhrrrkk!

Five deep gouges carved into the floor, perfect as sword marks.

"It's real," he whispered. Then louder, triumphant—

"I did it! I finally did it!"

The Divine Power Realm.

The door of the divine had opened.

No longer mortal, no longer bound by earth.

Every battle, every pain—the Nine Aperture Pill, the endless Blood Elixirs, the Biluo Great Pills, the sacred Yellow Springs Water, the blazing bracelet's pure star-force, and his own unyielding will—all of it had merged into one.

Fang Han stood there, body gleaming, laughter shaking the walls.

He no longer doubted himself.
