At the Korean SDF headquarters, the meeting began.
"I'll head straight to the point: our main focus for today's meeting is Genesis. From what we have gathered, they aren't your normal terrorist group filled with people the government has hurt in the past and are trying to take revenge. There's a bigger picture behind all this chaos, and I believe there's a third party," the Fifth Division Captain said.
Everyone except the Third was surprised to hear it. Without wasting much time, she continued, using her illusions to show everyone what she had discovered. "After a proper investigation, we found that the places where the explosions occurred were formal labs which the government used to create chemical weapons."
She stopped for a moment, looking at everyone's faces, and continued, "I'm sure you guys are probably thinking nuclear weapons, but it's not—the weapons in production are multiple times stronger than a nuclear, strong enough to break down a triple-layer mana barrier and still cause much damage, even though it was just a grenade that caused the explosion. Which brings up the next topic: Genesis's main intention wasn't to start a war, but to stop it."
"What the hell are you saying? Do you even have any proof of what you are saying?" the Second Division Captain cut in and asked.
"Yes, there is. After proper investigation, we found out that before the explosion happened, an evacuation notice was issued, but no one listened due to the intervention of the third party. And we also know that the only way that could happen is if this mysterious third party received help from someone within the government. Of course, this is just an assumption, but right now it's the only lead we've got to follow, and that concludes the details the Fifth Division has on Genesis," the Fifth Division Captain said.
Before she took her seat, Lukas stood up and said, "That's not all. My squad found traces of Genesis in Incheon. We tracked down the past movements of some of the Genesis members we captured—their movements seem normal, but one thing they all have in common is that they all visited Incheon around the same month. But the strange thing is that they all were in different places in Incheon. We couldn't dig deeper because of the restrictions we have in Incheon."
"Well, isn't that inconvenient? Now that there's a third party in this, it will be hard to figure out a way to deal with Genesis. We can't simply just shut them down, since there are others who do things outside their authority in the sake of justice just because they have the power to do so," the vice-commander said.
"Are you also talking about the Eclipse Collective and S Clan?" the Second Division Vice-Captain asked.
"Yes, I am. There are other organizations out there who have also formed their military independence legally and therefore have the rights and ability to take out anything and anyone that poses a threat to the country or world as long as they don't directly confront or intervene in government affairs. What I'm simply trying to say is Genesis may possess plain evidence of the danger in that lab and use it as justification for the attack, but they are simply looking for a way for the third party to take the full punishment. But it doesn't really matter—Genesis isn't recognized as one of the legal military organizations, so they don't have any justification for their actions. But Genesis may become more problematic if they are recognized as one. Unlike the Eclipse Collective and S Clan, Genesis isn't based or bound by a single country, but their members seem to be from different countries. Therefore, if they become independent, they could become global and have more power than the Eclipse Collective and S Clan, becoming more powerful for us to handle," the vice-commander replied..
