"Answers," I said. "I want answers. I want to know why this is happening. Want to understand what I'm missing."
"Missing?"
"Something about this whole situation feels wrong. Daemon's plan, Theron's betrayal, the timing of everything. It's too convenient. Too neat. Like we're seeing exactly what someone wants us to see." I struggled to organize my thoughts through the exhaustion. "What if this is all misdirection? What if the real threat is something else entirely?"
