We spent the rest of the day quietly. Eating. Resting. Holding Arianna. Discussing plans for the coronation and the trials and everything that needed to happen in the coming weeks.
And slowly, I began to feel almost normal again. The pain faded. My strength returned. By evening, I was able to walk around the room without assistance, able to hold Arianna without trembling from weakness.
"You're healing faster than expected," Elena observed when she came to check on me. "The connection you forged with Prince Kael's curse during the channeling seems to have left residual benefits. Your body is processing magic more efficiently now. Healing quicker. Stronger overall."
