Chapter 351 - Chapter 351 Starting the Search for the Gelel Stones

Upon seeing Takumi and the others, the blonde boy's expression instantly changed.

He instinctively wanted to turn back, but the sharp pain in his body stopped him.

His injuries weren't healed yet; escaping from Takumi and the others was impossible.

He resigned himself to his fate and stood still, but his gaze towards Takumi and the others was full of hostility.

Anyone who obstructed their great plan was an enemy.

Temari immediately wanted to rush over and grab him.

But Takumi reached out and stopped her.

"What are you doing?"

She said discontentedly. "If we don't capture him..."

"He can't escape."

Takumi said calmly.

Behind them, the camera was quietly moving in.

The moment they approached the caravan, the director had already turned on the camera.

His professional instincts told him an important scene was about to unfold.

"Excuse me."

Takumi said to the elder Kahiko, then walked over and stood before the blonde boy.

"My name is Takumi, a Jonin of Konoha. What is your name?"

Takumi suddenly asked.

"Why do you want to know?"

The blonde boy frowned slightly.

"Just curious."

Takumi looked at the ferret that had jumped onto the boy's shoulder and sat down. "I don't think we should be enemies."

"What exactly are you trying to say?"

The blonde boy was completely confused.

'You were the one who severely injured me before.'

'Now you're the one saying we shouldn't be enemies.'

'What is going on?'

"Do you know about your own origins?"

Takumi's sudden words completely ignited the frustration in the blonde boy's heart.

"My name is Temujin! I'm just an ordinary boy! If Haido-sama hadn't saved me..."

The blonde boy, Temujin, waved his hand angrily. "If you don't want to fight me, then get out of my way."

"That won't do."

Takumi shook his head. "After all, your people attacked the Land of Wind. If this matter isn't resolved..."

"They are not my subordinates."

Temujin turned his head away. "Besides, some sacrifices are unavoidable to achieve our goal."

"Unavoidable, huh?"

Takumi sighed. "You completely don't know your own origins, do you?"

"Do you know them?"

Temujin said coldly. "You don't even know my name. What could you possibly know?"

"A name is the most insignificant thing."

Takumi pointed to the ferret on his shoulder. "From its behavior, it's clear that your identity is not ordinary."

Then, he turned back to look at the shocked elder Kahiko. "Isn't that right, elder?"

Kahiko's expression became serious. Then he sighed and said, "Little Nerugui is a pet raised by our royal family. For it to be this affectionate with someone, that person must be a member of the royal family."

"But, Shinobi of Konoha, how do you know all this?"

He was truly very curious. As displaced people whose country had fallen, now a traveling caravan, the only ones who knew about little Nerugui's identity were himself and his direct descendants.

Where had this Konoha's Shinobi learned of this?

"I really enjoy reading."

Takumi found a random reason. "I accidentally came across an ancient text that recorded the existence of a once huge empire that wielded special powers relying on a magical ore."

"Among the records, it specifically mentioned a long-lived ferret."

"I sensed an unusual life force from it, which proves it has lived for a very, very long time."

His words were a mix of truth and falsehood. Kahiko had no way to verify the so-called ancient text and could only choose to believe what Takumi said.

"Sigh, I didn't expect there to still be people who recorded our country."

He shook his head. "It's all because of that ore."

"Relying on the power of the ore, our ancestors created wells that never ran dry, livestock that grew overnight, crops that bore fruit continuously, and even research into preventing aging."

"But all of this was destroyed in an instant because of human greed."

"To monopolize this power, people started civil wars, the entire empire collapsed, and we became a people without a country, wandering exiles."

As he spoke, he couldn't help but sigh.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

Temujin completely disbelieved Kahiko's words.

He knew nothing about any of this.

He had never heard any of this from his parents.

"It seems you really don't know."

As Takumi spoke, he tore off the bandages on Temujin's chest.

The wounds on his upper body had already healed.

For someone who had jumped off a cliff, this recovery ability was truly astonishing.

And on his chest, there was a pattern like a tattoo.

"Indeed, I wasn't mistaken."

Kahiko saw the pattern again and couldn't help shaking his head.

When he rescued Temujin, he had already seen it.

But the era was too distant. He had only heard about it from his ancestors and had never seen it with his own eyes.

So he couldn't confirm it.

But now it seemed, Temujin really was a member of their royal family.

"How do you know about this?"

Temujin's expression changed drastically. "Do you have one too?"

"I don't."

Takumi shook his head. "And I couldn't use it even if I did."

"That's right."

Kahiko took over. "Only our royal family can use the Gelel crystals."

"Gelel Stone?!"

Temujin's expression finally changed.

But what he was focused on wasn't what they were saying, but simply the stone itself. "Do you know where the Gelel Stone is?"

One of his missions was to search for the Gelel Stone on this continent.

Temari and the others listened silently as Takumi spoke.

They felt like they were listening to a legendary tale.

The power wielded by the people who attacked their Land of Wind seemed to originate from an ancient country.

But none of them knew about it, while Takumi appeared to be very familiar with it.

This only made Temari admire him even more.

"Is there anything he doesn't know?"

Kankuro couldn't help complaining. "There really is such a perfect person in the world."

"Of course."

Temari said subconsciously.

"Hey, hey, can you tone it down a bit?"

Kankuro was truly helpless.

His sister was good in every way, but her tendency to fixate on one target was exasperating.

'Sis, can't you see so many women around him?'

'Do you really have to throw yourself in?'

"Mind your own business."

Temari rolled her eyes, then looked at Gaara. "What do we do now? It seems Takumi doesn't plan to make an enemy of this Temujin guy."

"Don't worry."

Gaara said calmly. "This guy is just a nobody. There's a real enemy hiding behind him. My target is that person."

"I see."

Temari nodded.

She noticed that her brother was becoming more and more mature when thinking about things.

It made her, the older sister, feel more like the younger sister.
