Chapter 33: Bibi Dong's Ambition
After obtaining the Mysterious Heaven Skill from Xiao Wu, Qi Tian immediately left Nuoding City behind.
Originally, he had planned to visit the valley outside Holy Soul Village to retrieve Ah Yin's soul bone, but he wasn't sure of Tang Hao's current whereabouts, so he temporarily abandoned the idea.
Qi Tian recalled that at the end of the first semester, Tang Hao had gone to meet Yu Xiaogang, asking him to look after Tang San. Tang Hao himself had said he had something important to take care of.
Qi Tian wasn't sure whether Tang Hao had gone to seek revenge against Spirit Hall, gather intelligence, or spend time near the waterfall valley where his late wife, Ah Yin, had perished.
Since he didn't know for certain, Qi Tian naturally wouldn't take such a dangerous gamble.
Anyway, five years later, when Tang San would enroll at Shrek Academy, Tang Hao would accompany him there. That would be the safest time to steal Ah Yin's soul bone.
Shrek Academy was so close to the Star Dou Forest that Xiao Wu could escape there at any moment. Qi Tian didn't believe Tang Hao would let his son wander that far without protection.
"So... where should I go to cultivate next?"
His first soul ring had been acquired through sheer luck. There was no guarantee that the second one would go so smoothly.
He needed a layer of security, a temporary affiliation—a place where he could train without binding his future.
"Joining Spirit Hall or any major sect will determine my fate. My best option… is to enroll in an academy first."
He thought for a moment and nodded to himself.
"The most suitable academy for a Blue Silver Grass martial soul should be the Botanic Academy."
The Botanic Academy had even defeated the Elephant Armored Academy in the qualifiers of the Advanced Soul Master Tournament—its strength couldn't be underestimated.
Since they dared to call themselves the "Botanic Academy," their environment would definitely favor plant-type spirits, and their research into botanical cultivation techniques must be extensive.
"Alright then. Botanic Academy, it is," Qi Tian decided silently.
The Heaven Dou Empire governed five kingdoms, and among the fifteen slots for the national tournament in Spirit City, ten were divided among these affiliated nations.
The Botanic Academy was located in the Silves Kingdom, in the southern region near the Star Dou Great Forest, where the lush environment nurtured countless plant species.
Silves Kingdom neighbored Heaven Dou City, Balak Kingdom, and the Star Dou Great Forest—a land brimming with vitality and opportunity.
With his destination confirmed, Qi Tian set off toward Silves Kingdom's Botanic Academy.

Nineteen years earlier...
Qi Tian once again woke up within Bibi Dong's body.
Following his earlier advice, she had already avoided Spirit Hall's surveillance and was now hiding outside Heaven Dou City.
Qi Tian couldn't resist indulging his curiosity, noticing that Bibi Dong's figure had matured a little more since last time.
"So? Any progress with your research?" Qi Tian asked casually.
He was referring to the corpse of the Ten-Headed Fierce Yang Serpent.
Bibi Dong shook her head.
"None so far."
"Then, for now, head to the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well. Use the icy spring there to preserve the serpent's body. Once you're stronger, you can study it again—perhaps you'll uncover something useful," Qi Tian advised.
"Alright. What should I do next?" Bibi Dong asked.
After leaving Spirit Hall and escaping Qian Xunji's control, she suddenly found herself without direction.
Qi Tian pondered.
"You've already reached rank sixty, right? Then go to the Sunset Forest to obtain your next soul ring. While you're there, collect some of the spring water too."
"Hmm? And after that?"
There was a trace of hesitation in her tone.
Qi Tian smiled faintly.
"While you cultivate, start building your own network within Spirit Hall. That way, when you return in the future, you won't be reduced to a mere breeding tool."
Bibi Dong's eyes flashed with realization.
"You're from the future—you must know some potential talents worth recruiting, right?"
"I do have one in mind," Qi Tian replied thoughtfully.
"Her name is Liu Erlong—the illegitimate daughter of Yu Luomian, a member of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Her martial soul is a mutated Fire Dragon, and her cultivation talent is quite good."
"If you can win her over, you'll not only gain a capable ally but also forge a connection to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan—a valuable preparation for the future."
"Liu Erlong?" Bibi Dong's brows furrowed slightly. Her feminine intuition suddenly flared. "Tell me… is she beautiful?"
Qi Tian coughed lightly.
"Uh… she's alright, I guess."
"Then how does she compare to me?" Bibi Dong suddenly asked.
Qi Tian immediately realized this was a death-trap question. Without hesitation, he replied,
"Of course, you're far more beautiful!"
"Hmph."
Bibi Dong snorted softly, but she didn't deny it—her confidence in her own beauty was absolute.
"So, how exactly should I win her over?" she asked.
Qi Tian began explaining the same plan he'd once told Liu Erlong herself.
"Liu Erlong is Yu Xiaogang's cousin. Yu Xiaogang, Flender, and Liu Erlong share a Martial Soul Fusion Technique."
"Yu Xiaogang probably sensed this connection, and that's why he's been chasing her obsessively—harboring improper thoughts toward his own cousin."
"Since they're family, Liu Erlong can't bring herself to kill him. That's where you come in—help her deal with this problem."
Bibi Dong froze when she heard the name Yu Xiaogang.
She had almost forgotten him—after two years in the City of Slaughter, the so-called "Grandmaster" had long faded from her mind. If Qi Tian hadn't mentioned him, she wouldn't have even remembered his existence.
"Yu Xiaogang… actually lusts after his own cousin? You're certain of this? You learned this from the future?" she asked in disbelief.
Qi Tian nodded.
"Exactly. In the future, they will even use that Martial Soul Fusion Technique together and make quite a name for themselves on the continent."
Bibi Dong felt nothing but disgust.
If Qi Tian hadn't appeared in her life, she might have been deceived by Yu Xiaogang's "talent" just like before.
Why did fate always seem to throw such vile men her way—first her teacher Qian Xunji, and now Yu Xiaogang, who lusted after his own blood relative?
Qi Tian simply shrugged.
"Don't ask me. Maybe you should ask Tang San instead."
Bibi Dong's expression hardened.
"Fine. I'll handle this personally."
Helping Liu Erlong wasn't just a way to vent her anger—it was also a strategic move. Gaining the loyalty of a powerful future Soul Master was a win-win.
After all, Liu Erlong, once empowered by the immortal herbs, would possess the potential to become a Title Douluo.
"You've made the right choice," Qi Tian said approvingly. "Once you become the Pope, and Liu Erlong ascends to the Title Douluo, you can help her take over the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan."
"When that happens, unifying the continent and founding your own Spirit Empire will become much easier—one more ally, one less obstacle."
Bibi Dong's eyes widened.
"Unify the continent? Establish a Spirit Empire… me?"
"Yes," Qi Tian said seriously. "That's your destiny. The Douluo Continent has been divided long enough—it's time someone strong enough brought it under one rule."
He didn't tell her that in the future, he knew she would attempt exactly that.
Bibi Dong's heart began to race.
She had only ever dreamed of becoming the Pope. But Qi Tian's words opened a new horizon—an ambition far grander than anything she'd imagined.
"Then… Did I succeed?" she asked softly.
Qi Tian smiled faintly, but didn't answer directly.
"I don't know."
Bibi Dong didn't press further. Deep down, she understood—the future Qi Tian knew hadn't yet seen her victory.
Her gaze hardened.
"I will definitely unify the Douluo Continent… and become the Empress of the Spirit Empire!"
Qi Tian grinned inwardly.
An empress, huh? Perfect. He'd always liked powerful women.
---
The next morning, Qi Tian woke again—this time within Liu Erlong's body.
She was back at her family estate outside Heaven Dou City, accompanying her mother for the New Year.
"Benefactor, you're here!" Liu Erlong greeted warmly, her face lighting up.
"Yes," Qi Tian replied with a faint smile. "How's your mother's health?"
"Completely healed," Liu Erlong said cheerfully. "She even says she feels younger than ever!"
Qi Tian nodded with relief. That had been one of his assigned missions—he couldn't afford to fail.
Now, only one task remained: dealing with Yu Xiaogang. Once that was done, this chapter of his mission would finally be complete.
