Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: The Pure and Immaculate Snow Empress

Chapter 150: The Pure and Immaculate Snow Empress

Qi Tian was walking down the street when he noticed many clothing shops here.

Some sold coats made from wild beast pelts, others displayed various formal dresses and gowns—overall, the area was even more bustling than Nuoding City.

That was only natural. This place was a gathering spot for soul masters and mercenaries, all of whom belonged to high-income, high-spending groups.

They had just made money in the Frozen Forest—was it really possible for them not to spend a single coin?

"Snow Empress, what do you think of this one?" Qi Tian pointed at a pure-white goose-down coat.

The shop owner was about to step forward and praise them, but Qi Tian waved him away, letting Snow Empress choose for herself.

Before Snow Empress could speak, Ice Empress spoke up first. "This one! I want the same set too!"

Qi Tian sighed. The Ice Empress truly didn't understand politeness.

She probably thought these clothes were free. Fortunately, Qi Tian had enough money—he could still support them.

Qi Tian put away the clothes, but the Ice Empress continued. "I also want an outfit like your Pope's!"

She recalled Bibi Dong's luxurious ceremonial gown. Not wanting to be outshone by that human woman, she wanted to get herself a few similar outfits.

Qi Tian said helplessly, "They don't sell that kind of clothing here. I'll pick a few formal dresses for you instead."

Perhaps soul beasts were just like humans. Both Ice Empress and Snow Empress were attracted to beautiful things and loved shopping.

Qi Tian could only spend generously, buying things for them while also teaching them about human customs.

After wandering around for a long time, Qi Tian noticed Snow Empress was gradually beginning to show more vitality, a touch of human warmth.

Snow Empress herself also grew fond of this feeling of being cherished. She held Qi Tian's hand the entire time, refusing to let go.

Occasionally, a faint smile appeared in her eyes, making Qi Tian's heart flutter slightly.

As night fell, Qi Tian brought Snow Empress to an inn and booked a room, preparing to teach the two beasts how to live like humans.

"Snow Empress, this formal dress is quite complicated. Let me teach you how to put it on," Qi Tian said as he closed the door.

"Alright," Snow Empress replied, completely unguarded. She opened her arms, allowing Qi Tian to help her.

Qi Tian had previously possessed Bibi Dong's body and learned how to wear various clothes, so this type of clothing was familiar territory for him.

Snow Empress's hair and body were immaculate white, softly glowing.

Perhaps because her gaze carried no trace of desire, Qi Tian felt no urge to defile her. He focused on helping her get dressed.

If Snow Empress were a bit younger, Qi Tian might even have felt like he was raising a daughter.

"Snow Empress, you're truly beautiful," Qi Tian exclaimed admiringly after she finished.

Her beauty was unlike anyone else's—like an immortal fairy untouched by mortal world impurities—pure inside and out.

"Snow Empress, sit on the bed. I'll help you put on your shoes," Qi Tian said, snapping back to his senses.

She wanted to say she could do it herself, but seeing Qi Tian's earnest expression, she sat obediently.

He gently lifted her flawless, jade-like foot—still spotless after a whole day outside, likely protected by a thin layer of ice.

Her toes, like tiny pearls, emitted a faint glow. Her jade feet were so perfect they felt almost unreal.

The only flaw was that when held in his hands, they lacked warmth—slightly too cold, a trait of her origins.

If she had fully transformed into a human, it wouldn't be like this.

"Qi Tian, why are you staring at Snow Empress's foot?"

Perhaps Qi Tian had looked a little too long, catching Ice Empress's attention.

He came back to himself and replied, "You really don't understand at all."

The Ice Empress liked Snow Empress—she liked staying clean and close. Her heart wasn't nearly as "dirty" as Qi Tian's.

"Understand what?" The Ice Empress asked.

"You'll understand in time," Qi Tian said.

She looked puzzled as she watched him carefully help Snow Empress put on her shoes.

Afterward, Qi Tian helped her change into several more outfits, teaching her how to match them before finally stopping.

"I want you to help me change, too!" The Ice Empress said suddenly.

Qi Tian froze. Why did it feel like the Ice Empress was a little jealous?

"Your clothes are the same as Snow Empress's. I already showed you how to wear them—you should be able to do it yourself now," he said.

"I don't care. I want you to help me try them on once!" she insisted.

Qi Tian sighed inwardly. No wonder the Ice Empress couldn't win Snow Empress's favor—what Snow Empress wanted was care and tenderness, which the Ice Empress couldn't provide.

Snow Empress was like a child yearning for affection, and Ice Empress was not much more mature.

With no other choice, Qi Tian helped her try on all the outfits.

Snow Empress sat on the bed, watching quietly, happiness flickering in her eyes.

Finally, Qi Tian changed into his nightwear and climbed into bed.

"Snow Empress, since we're in the human world, how about we live like humans for a while?" he asked.

She thought about the day's experiences. It didn't seem so bad. She nodded softly.

"Then let's change into our sleepwear and sleep," Qi Tian said.

She nodded again and opened her arms, signaling him to help her.

He was about to suggest she put it on herself, but when he saw the longing in her eyes, he swallowed his words.

Being with Snow Empress felt like caring for a grown child.

He helped her change clothes, just as the sound of a bed shaking came from the next room.

Soon, there were noises—half crying, half cat yowling. Snow Empress looked at the wall in confusion.

"Are the humans next door fighting? It sounds so miserable," she asked curiously.

Qi Tian felt awkward. The inn's soundproofing really wasn't great.

"Snow Empress, they're not fighting," he explained.

"Not fighting? Then what are they doing? Let me see!" she said.

"Don't look!" he hurriedly stopped her.

Snow Empress, a natural ice-and-snow spirit, was unique on the Douluo Continent—truly pure and immaculate.

He didn't want her tainted so quickly. She obediently didn't peek.

But at that moment, the Ice Empress asked again, "Qi Tian, I want to know too. Can you tell me?"

He didn't mind at all and told her that the humans next door were mating.

"Oh? What's so interesting about that?" she said, losing interest right away. After all, she was still just a soul beast.

Qi Tian's heart was unsettled. Looking at Snow Empress's smooth, flawless body, his thoughts became restless.

But he couldn't do anything now, using Ice Empress's body. All he could do was help Snow Empress finish dressing and hold her as they fell asleep together.

Before leaving, he gave the Ice Empress some instructions: stay in this small town for now, get used to human life, and once he returned, they would set off again.

This place was near the Frozen Forest—if they encountered danger or couldn't adapt, they could return directly to the northern lands.

"Got it. Hurry up and go!" The Ice Empress urged eagerly, already eager to hold Snow Empress and sleep.

Qi Tian sighed and left the Ice Empress's body.

She immediately hugged Snow Empress, burrowing into her embrace.

But Snow Empress suddenly opened her eyes, looking down at Ice Empress in her arms, lost in thought.
