Soon enough the cops pulled in, Tanjiro still restrained the demon under his grip while openly challenging Muzan, who was far gone from the sight.
"Let go of him, kid!"
"If you don't, we would-"
I glanced at Tamayo, who raised her arm and ready to use her demonic art to intervene but I was fast enough to jump in. I stood in between Cops and Tanjiro, their attention shifting to me as I lifted my arm in the air and announced.
"This man is having a seizure, officer" That made one of them stop as he gave me a look which said continue, we are listening "I'm a doctor, so let me take a look at him while you stay back"
Then I turned to Tanjiro who was adamant on not letting man go. Even as a doctor I knew he wouldn't risk me taking a look at a 'human with seizure', so I leaned next to his ear and muttered "Hold this demon tightly and don't let it go. I got the medicine"
His eyes went wide as he looked me in the eye and I responded with a nod. Then, I took out a bottle of HWL and made him drink the liquid after taking out the cloth from his mouth. The man changed from the blood thirsty monster to the human in just span of few seconds.
Do not underestimate the healing powers of HWL.
"He...turned back to human?" I could see Tanjiro getting more effects from this than the man who just woke up from the ground in confusion. Well, it's not the first time people getting surprised at me pulling miracles out of nowhere. But there was someone else, who was equally fascinated and stupefied by the stunt that I just pulled.

After a few minutes of explanation to the cops, they finally let us go when the man admitted to having a seizure all of a sudden. Walking up to her wife, I dropped some drops of HWL into her mouth, and she woke up with a vibrant energy, as if she was just taking a quick nap.
Soon enough, the crowd dispersed along with the couple, who thanked me repeatedly. To my surprise, Tamayo and her apprentice disappeared along with the others. Well, I did enough to get her attention so I don't think they'll just turn a blind eye to someone who could literally turn a demon back to human.

"Thank you so much for your help!!!" I turned around to see Tanjiro bowing at me. I couldn't help but laugh awkwardly as I wasn't used to get so much respect, I mean respect for sure but not to this level.
He is literally a light in the darkness of this world.. Even after such a tragedy at such a young age, he maintained his sanity and stayed strong for not only himself, but for his sister as well. Above all, he treated the demons at their dying moments with respect, which I bet only two or three demon slayers would do.
"You did a good job by restraining him" I smiled as I reached out to his head and ruffled his hair "If it wasn't for you, that demon would've killed lots of people there" Retracting my hand back, I said "I'm Akira, a doctor from the West and you?"
"Tanjiro Kamado" He replied.
"So, you're by yourself, Tanjiro?" That made him snap out of his stupor, as he muttered Nezuko and dashed in the opposite direction. I followed his trail not before glancing at the far corner of the street, where a certain Michael Jackson impostor was glaring at me while holding a kid in his frail arms.
*I wonder if he's just a big fan of MJ or the latter stole his style*

[ Udon Stall, Asakusa District ]
"Five bowls of your special, please?"
I dropped a gold coin making the stall owner and siblings's eyes go wide. I didn't care much, when it comes to getting some nice food and compared to it, the gold coins were just peanuts to me which unfortunately I couldn't eat. After, my trip to the Naruto world, I learned to use this currency as it will work in each dimension unless it's some crazy sci-fi urban world.
"Please take a seat! I'll be back in a moment!!!" The man took the coin, not before taking an order from Tanjiro and pestering Nezuko to take one as well. But, her brother came to the rescue and ordered two bowls for himself in her stead.
"Akira-san, this is my sister Nezuko" She tilted her head cutely, making me almost pat her head but I nodded with a smile and introduced myself. She reminded me of my friend's little sister who would ask for free cookies and chocolates, every time I pay a visit to his home.
Before I could make list of her top 10 cute attributes, the stall owner came back with all the bowls placed in his arms. It was literally a moment that it took for him to prepare all this?! Perhaps he was using some breathing technique as well? Maybe, But one thing was true:
People of this world are too energetic.
----Running Nezuko----
"A bamboo muzzle?" I asked, putting down last bowl of Udon as I glanced at Nezuko who looked at me with a tilt of head "Is she?"
Tanjiro turned to me and then got up from his spot, and looked at me with hopeful eyes "Akira-san! Can you treat her as well?! I'll do anything to pay for the medicine, just give me enough time and I'll pay for whatever money you ask for!!! But please help me treat my sister!"
Seeing his desperate eyes, I closed my eyes and thought about it carefully.
With the HWL, I knew I can turn Nezuko back to human without breaking a sweat. But it would mean, she won't be able to assist Tanjiro in his journey ahead in the way she would do as a demon. A delicate and kind girl wouldn't be able to learn breathing technique anytime soon, and with the plot kicking in gear, it would only lead to Tanjiro and her, dying at that mountain.
So what should I do?
I gave a side glance to Tanjiro, who was getting anxious with each passing moment, waiting for my response. Sigh, I can't say no if you look at me with those eyes. I guess, I have to join them in their journey and kill that MJ impostor but not before I kill certain upper ranks to get gacha tickets.
Taking a deep sigh, I got up and Tanjiro as well. I turned to him and replied with a nod "Sure, why not? I'm a doctor and that's what I do"
"Really?!"
I nodded, and once again he was bowing repeatedly until I said it wasn't a big deal for me. And then, he embraced Nezuko with tears, holding her in his arms tightly.
The moment was short lived as Nezuko pointed behind me while her brother was still in his trance of joy. From the energy signatures, I knew very well the identities of these individuals. Nonetheless, I turned around to see the hot headed demonic simp along with mil-, I mean a beautiful mature lady who was standing next to him with her usual gentle smile.
"I apologize for the inconvenience" She said, her gaze then shifting on to me "But can we have a word with you?" She then noticed Udon shop owner washing bowls in the back and then at us "At my place"
Looks like I won't be having a boring night, tonight.
