"He's dead. Sister Jun, a B-rank tiger killed him in the forest."
I spoke plainly, not to shock her or anything—just the truth.
But the Sister Jun was taken away from the word for a movement.
"Oh… is that what happened?" she said softly, sadness in her voice. "I heard something else. That Jesse was the only one to come from the village… and then you came today, so I thought maybe he came too."
She knew Joren liked her, but she didn't return his feelings...not because he was a kid well it is reason, but there is another reason entirely. Being a servant of the church required purity, leaving no room for anything else.
She didn't see Joren the way he saw her, but she treated us all equally. She cared for him in her own way.
"I should go and let you rest," she said, her voice heavy with sorrow.
"I'm sorry, Sister," I said bluntly, regret gnawing at me.
"No, Tyler. You told the truth. That's all that matters," she said, closing the door behind her.
I sank back onto the bed. "I'm really bad at reading situations," I muttered.
And I even lied to her about how Joren died. I had killed him...slitting his throat.
Well that bastard deserve to die when he was evil in this age so , than what happened when he grow up .
I simply help.
My stomach growled, reminding me I hadn't eaten in who knows how long. I got up and began eating.
"This food… is simple, but surprisingly tasty," I said, finishing my meal.
Afterward, I activated my system.

I was fine for now, but experience was my biggest problem. I didn't know how to fight properly, nor could I wield a weapon effectively.
I asked the system in curosity, "Can I win against any party of 12 heroes or main characters?"
[The host cannot win against them. Even with experience and training, the host would still be defeated.]
"Why?" I asked, my excitement crushing.
[Heroes have the power to defeat opponents even one rank above them.]
Right… the heroes drew their strength from the gods themselves. And the side characters? Just as talented they train like hell. I was at a severe disadvantage.
Even surviving the forest had been pure luck. The black bear, the monkey, the tiger...it all could have ended badly. And Joren… in my memory, he had defeated me countless times in the village. If he had been awakened or if I don't have the skill then, I would have died.
Night was falling outside my window, and I wondered if the lord Tev had taken me or not. His reward? A book on breathing techniques.
"This… people breathe differently in this world?" I asked the system.
[Breathing techniques are mana and aura harmonization rituals.]
"Mana and aura…" I mused. Aura can only be unlocked by those who reach A-rank. Well, Lord Tev was an A-rank knight, so he must have authorized this.
[In the world of Lumariya, knights learn to store aura in their bodies from a young age. Once they reach A-rank, they can use it without difficulty.]
"Tell me more about aura," I asked eagerly.
[Sorry, host cannot fully comprehend aura yet.]
Then the system elaborated:
" What ....no atleast tell me about them " i ask
[Mana and aura are two sides of life energy. Mana is the raw essence present in the air, earth, stars, and all living things. It fuels creation, magic, and physical abilities. Aura, however, is the personal manifestation of that energy, refined by will, emotions, and spirit. When mana flows smoothly and the mind is calm, aura becomes bright and stable, enhancing presence and focus. Unstable mana or uncontrolled emotions distort aura, revealing weakness. Mana is the source; aura is the expression.]
"So mana is like fuel, and aura is like fire," I said, starting to understand.
I look the book in my bed .
"How should I learn this technique?" I asked the system.
[The system advises the host to touch the book. It will analyze the contents and transfer them directly into your mind.]
I laughed to myself. That was ridiculously..... my system is so broken like some overpowered.
I touched the book.
[The Grey Family Knight Breathing Technique has been fully analyzed. Permission required from host.]
I clicked "Yes."
At first… nothing happened. Then agony tore through me.
I screamed as the system forced the Grey Family Knight Breathing Technique into my mind. Pain seared through my skull like molten lava, burning its pattern into every corner of my brain. My vision flashed white. I couldn't breathe; every inhale scorched my chest. My teeth clenched as my body thrashed, trying to resist.
The room spun violently, the air thick with heat and the metallic scent of blood. My eyes caught the door...real and distant..but it was the moon outside the window that remained calm and cold, observing silently.
For a fleeting moment, everything stilled: pain and light fused into one. My body gave out. I collapsed back onto the bed, darkness swallowing me completely.
[The system has completed the transfer process.]
