Description: Mamiya Marie is an infamous mistress and owner of the Mamiya Conglomerate, which is the leading Bio-Engineering Corporation in the entire world. Personality: Mamyia Marie could be described as a charismatic, cruel, highly intelligent, and mature woman with an unhealthy obsession with her beloved husband. Her public image is almost absolute perfection, as she would never allow for anything less than appearing perfect and powerful in public.
She is an extremely manipulative and intelligent person, because she alone was capable of managing the Mamiya Conglomerate, to which end she allegedly killed all relatives of her first husband to maintain control over the zaibatsu. She is a very intelligent and savvy businesswoman who is a workaholic with extremely high standards for herself and others.
Marie is almost a textbook embodiment of being Yandere... a term for a character who at first is very innocent, lovey-dovey, and overly affectionate like a normal deredere type character, but over time begins breaking down and becoming mentally ill as a result of having too strong a love.
She is especially cruel toward the people who betray her or harm her interests. Her inhuman cruelty could be seen in the fate of one of their former servants at the Mamiya Manor in Tokyo, Asagiri Sachie, whose horrific fate is rather better not mentioned out loud.
Contrary to this, she also shows very intense feelings towards her husband and those close to him. Aside from the things that she cares about, she is feeling apathetic towards everything and everyone else, viewing everyone just as chess pieces on a board that could be used for her entertainment.
Marie is also an extremely proud woman, which was also the reason she didn't allow any man to touch her aside from Yakou when he started working as her bodyguard years ago.

Over time, with the help of her husband Yakou, she managed to become a Mage, after the Artificial Mage Project was successful. After becoming a Mage, Marie studied Magic directly under Yakou's tutelage, mostly because she wanted to learn from the best and because she wanted to have a lot of sex in the library with her "teacher".

She is certainly not combatant, but she wouldn't be defenseless if it came to combat anymore. Thanks to her husband, Tsuchimikado Yakou, Marie is able to fight some elites of the major Magic Associations on equal grounds, even without including the Heirloom that her husband would procure for her.
Though this process is still ongoing, because finding suitable heirlooms is very challenging even in these turbulent times.

Several days have passed since Yakou left the Empire of Japan, as the world was still reacting to the changes that were happening in the world. Or rather toward the changes that have already happened in the world.
After Yakou returned home, the first thing he had on his list was to unlock the rest of the Shinigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique. He had collected all Gate Keys of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique and would be unlocking them one by one.
Yakou was in the underground parts of the mansion, where he was holding several Gate Keys. More precisely, he had the 1st Gate Key, the 2nd Gate Key, the 4th Gate Key, the 5th Gate Key, the 6th Gate Key, the 7th Gate Key, and the 8th Gate Key in front of him.
He decided that he would unleash all of them today, to complete the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, which would mean that he would have all the Divine Shikigami of the Inherent Onmyōdō Technique of the Tsuchimikado Clan.
Yakou was experimenting with elevating the Divine Shikigami to a higher level for them to truly become Divine, and he already had rather good ideas on how to achieve that. The simplest and most straightforward solution would be through the Devouring.
He would find a Phantasmal Beast that was of the same Attributes and Nature as the Shikigami in question and let his Shikigami devour the said Phantasmal Beast.
Phantasmal Species are those whose existence deviates from the standart original form of evolution by coming into contact with Magic or other forms of Supernatural Energies, which usually transform their fundamental existence.
It also included those whose existences are born from the thoughts of humans and those existences that ascend to a higher order as a consequence of longevity, like the Divine Beasts.
The term Phantasmal Beasts could be divided into three basic categories.
Already mentioned Divine Beasts, Magical Beasts, and Demonic Beasts.
Yakou planned to find Divine Beasts or even Divine Ancestors, if it was possible, that were compatible with his Shikigami and let his Shikigami Devour the foundation of the said Divine Beasts or Divine Ancestors to elevate their existence.
Divine Beasts are a type of Divine Beings in the form of animals, known as the Divine Beasts, as they usually descend from the Mythos in a similar fashion to the Heretic Gods or Tombs. Though not exclusively limited to this, as they could also be born through worship when a powerful Magical Beast absorbs a lot of Faith and Worship, they could ascend to the status of the Divine Beast by obtaining Pseudo-Divine Status and Divine Properties.
"One thing after another... now let's focus on unlocking the Divine Shikigami."
Yakou then just grasped the 1st Gate Key and activated the Magic that he inserted into the Key, which then floated in front of him. A locked golden gate appeared in front of him.
The 1st Gate Key corresponded to the Divine Wolves that appeared from the golden gate.
The Divine Wolves were a pair of twin wolves; one is white, and the other is black. Both have three dots on their forehead of the opposite color that resemble the symbols of the Jewel of Turning Back on the Road and the Jewel of Plenty, respectively.
They were certainly at least three times bigger than an ordinary wolf as they were massive and were radiating a rather dangerous aura.
Yakou muttered as he then used All-Seeing Eyes of God to display the Status Screen of the Shikigami through the interface of Crow's System Ability.

There wasn't much that was unusual for the Divine Wolves Shikigami, as everything was within the standards, as the Divine Wolves were usually considered as the weakest Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, unless they used their Uniqueness.
Divine Wolf: Totality.
Meanwhile, he was busy checking out the abilities of the Divine Wolves through the All-Seeing Eyes of God and his Heirloom Crow; the two Divine Wolves were circling around Yakou and sniffing him from all sides and angles.
Like they were checking delicious prey or a meal, but it was hard to tell... After some time of checking him out, they started nuzzling their faces against him, while he scratched the wolves behind their ears.
[Divine Wolf: Totality - If the Shikigami is destroyed in a battle, it could pass its Essence into its Twin, creating a Divine Wolf: Totality. This allows the remaining Divine Wolf to take a larger, much more powerful form on command. By using Totality, the user can summon a stronger, larger, bi-pedal, bicolored werewolf-like version of the surviving Divine Wolf. It is a well-balanced shikigami with the ability to attack, defend, and provide support for its user.
NOTE: The recuperation rate of the deceased twin Wolf would be ten times longer if the Uniquess Divine Wolf: Totality is used.]
When the Divine Wolf: Totality is used, the Totality summoned could reach the peak of the B-Rank in the pure Parameters alone. The only downside was that this form had a limited time period, and that the destroyed twin Wolf would require a huge amount of time to recuperate.
Nothing was said about the resources needed for the recuperation. After studying the 1st Divine Shikigami for some time, he went to proceed to open another Gate Key. Though when he saw both Kuro and Shiro chasing each other, he decided that he would leave them running around the Estate.
In the end, they were technically speaking an extension of himself, which meant that they would provide even increased security for the Numengard Estate. Among the Twelve Divine Shikigami, most of them could be let out to roam freely, while some of them were directly summoned from separate dimensions or locations on the Terra.
He took hold of the 2nd Gate Key and repeated the same process as with the 1st one.
The 2nd Shikigami of the 12 Divine Shikigami of the Tsuchimikado Clan was called Nue. Nue was a rather rare type of Yōkai that lived in Japan; it was a type of Chimeric Yōokai that had a monkey's head, a tiger's limbs, the body of a tanuki, and a snake for a tail.
Coupled with the wings, it looked like a weird, mutated owl creature. This one that Yakou summoned had a large, own-like appearance, a white mask-like skull on the face, and human-like teeth.

Nue was a bit stronger than the Divine Wolves, and they also had some really nice, unique abilities that were particular to this Yōkai species. News was very rare these days, and many had already perished, while those who still lived were usually hiding so deep that it was impossible for anyone to even encounter them.
[Negative Emotion Sensing - Ability that allows the User to sense Hostility, Hatred, and other Evil or Negative Emotions within others.]
[Negative Emotion Usage - Allows the User to actively utilize the Energy that is generated from Negativity, the Yin Energy, for their own benefit. The Negative Energy could be used to strengthen the User or boost up the User's Spells or attacks.]
[Absorption - Allows the User to Absorb a limited amount of a specific type of Source from the target, be it the Life Essence, Mana, Spiritrons, or Chi.]
As he observed the abilities of the Nue, he realized that they were pretty valuable... especially the ability to sense the Negative Emotions seemed to be something that gave one increased combat prowess, but its utility was tremendous.
If he could utilize this ability for himself, then it would be invaluable for political reasons unless someone knew how to perfectly hide their emotions, which was usually impossible, as some traces would always be left here and there.
Nevertheless, he was pretty satisfied with the powers of the Shikigami, but he felt that if they could be upgraded and elevated to a higher degree, then it would be even more useful and powerful.
Right now, these first Shikigamis were the first thing that he planned to somehow elevate to a higher Rank, because even though the C-Rank was corresponding to the Magister, Grand Knight, or Martial Grandmaster...
In the power scale of Campiones and similar beings, it was pretty weak and not that useful aside from some niche uses.
The next Gate Key that Yakou opened was the 4th Gate Key, which was for the very specific Yōkai called Pit Demon Spider. From the Clan Records, Yakou knew that it was caught by one of his ancestors only a few centuries ago in China.
It lived in the mountains and fed on the Martial Artists or Mages that were unlucky to wander into its domain.
Appearance-wise, it was an enormous arachnid, more than five meters long. Its jet black carapace glistened with grey patterns, and its abdomen, where it stored spider silk and energy, was extremely swollen. Small eyes sparkling with dull blue light. It had eight spider legs that were razor sharp, as they were one of the primary weapons of the Pit Demon Spider.
Like with the previous two Shikigamis, Yakou hen used All-Seeing Eyes of God to display the Status Screen of the Shikigami through the interface of Crow's System Ability.

What caught Yakou's attention was the fact that this concrete Shikigami was still at a stage of his development, which was pretty good for Yakou. As it meant that they could cultivate this Shikigami to a higher degree...
At the same time, this also brought him to another question that was lingering in his mind sicne he had seen it.
'If it's still in some sort of development stage, then it should have been something that someone from the previous Patriarchs would have noticed... one answer could be that they overlooked the fact that the Pit Demon Spider is still in the more juvenile stage of its evolution or... they didn't overlooked it, but rather the means to complete it were out of their reach.'
He also checked several of the Pit Demon Spider's Abilities.
[Spider Control - As one of the super species of Spider Yōkai, the Pit Demon Spider could exert control over the Spider species that are on a lesser evolutionary ladder and are thus in a lesser Hierarchy than it. Could also be applied to the hybrid species between Arachnid and other races, but with diminished effects.]
[Spiderweb Prison - Pit Demon Spider fires a thick yellow fluid from below its legs that transforms into a web in midair. The moment it comes in contact with anything, it near instantly hardens, creating a durable cage. As long as the Pit Demon Spider had passed over the location once, it could hide its spider thread in the ground, and this kind of spider thread could be controlled by its mental strength.]
[Concealment - This Ability allows the Pit Demon Spider's appearance to change and resemble the ground around it to blend in. Paired with its exceptional ability to dig through the earth, it can escape most dangerous situations and prepare its own lethal traps.]
[Camouflage - This ability could still isolate it from mental searches.]
The abilities of the Pit Demon Spiders were really oddly suited for the stealth and ambushes.
The Spider Control Ability was the most peculiar because it allowed it to control weaker Spider species than the Pit Demon Spider. When it came to this particular Shikigami, Yakou hoped that after reaching adulthood, the Pit Demon Spider would be able to lay eggs and create a colony of the Pit Demon Spiders.
Because this was a female specimen, if she created an entire colony of the Pit Demon Spiders, they would have rather terrific numbers, and they would become his personal army that he could use as a large-scale summon.
Species like Pit Demon Spiders were especially problematic to deal with because they usually had tremendous numbers and were not particularly weak.
Within the Moonlit Side of the World, creatures like the Pit Demon Spiders were often individually weak, aside from a very special specimen or mutations within their race, but their true strength lay in their numbers.
"Now just four of them remain... though it seems that some benefits are already showing up."
If there was one thing that Yakou noticed after unsealing most Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, then it was that he was feeling stronger... mostly in the amount of Mana that he had, though he felt that when he unlocked all Twelve of them, he would undergo a qualitative change in the regard of his Mana.
Thus, he went to unseal the 5th Gate Key, the Jade Rabbit, which was another very specific Shikigami and one that was recorded to be one of the oldest Yōkai in the entire world. It was personally caught by Abe no Semei a long time ago.
This species of Yōkai was extremely rare and there existed only a few of them in the entire world. They were also the source of the Moon Rabbit Legends in the Chinese Mythology or overall in the culture of the entire East Asia.
In East Asian mythology, the rabbit is seen as pounding with a mortar and pestle, but the contents of the mortar differ among Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese folklore.
In Chinese folklore, the Moon Rabbit, Yùtù, is often portrayed as a companion of the Moon Goddess Chang'e, constantly pounding the Elixir of Life for her and some show the making of cakes or rice cakes; but in Japanese and Korean versions, the Moon Rabbit is pounding the ingredients for mochi or tteok or some other type of rice cakes; in the Vietnamese version, the Moon Rabbit often appears with Hằng Nga and Chú Cuội, and like the Chinese version, the Vietnamese Moon rabbit also pounding the Elixir of Immortality in the mortar.
It is a white rabbit with red eyes and crystal clear white hair that looks like strands of crystal silk. When he looked at the Jade-Moon Rabbit, he felt some weird form of inner peace that he hadn't felt for a very long time.

Yakou muttered as Yùtù hopped onto his lap, as the 7th Campion subconsiously started petting the Jade-Moon Rabbit. The Jade-Moon Rabbit's fur was very soft and pleasant to touch as Yakou continued petting the little thing.
He had to admit that the Shikigami was very cute.
Not to mention its abilities were immensely useful... Among the Shikigamis of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, there were only a few that were of a supportive nature.
Mostly it was the Jade-Moon Rabbit Yùtù the 5th Gate and Round Deer the 6th Gate.
Yakou then used the Crow's Interference on several things that he had seen on the Jade-Moon Rabbit Yùtù.

[Hermetic Magic - Hermetic Magic that is derived from the Chinese Mythology, mostly from the Goddess Chang'e. The Jade-Moon Rabbit is also highly proficient in casting Healing Magic through Hermeticism.]
[Rabbit Escape - Jade-Moon Rabbit can activate the Rabbit Escape Ability, which ignores most of the spatial protections and wards.]
[Rabbit Avatars - Jade-Moon Rabbit can create a huge number of Avatars of itself. These Avatars are inhering only a small part of its power and are mainly used to supplement the Rabbit Escape. Though they are corporeal enough to touch things and manipulate with material reality as they are not pure illusion]
[Paragon Golden Body - During the time of life and death, Jade-Moon Rabbit can activate the Paragon Golden Body, which would give the Jade-Moon Rabbit Invincibility for a duration of 3 seconds and double all Parameters of the User for the same amount of time.]
[Medicine Sage - The Jade-Moon Rabbit is Sage in the Medicine, and its knowledge of the Arts of Healing and Medicine are unparalleled.]
[Pill Alchemy Sage - The Jade-Moon Rabbit is a Sage in the Alchemy, and its knowledge of the Pill Refining is unparalleled. ]
[Charm - Releases a pink mist to cover the target, which confuses the vision and hearing of the target.]
He marveled at the abilities of the Jade-Moon Rabbit Yùtù because they were on an entirely different level. Even though the Jade-Moon Rabbit lacked clear and direct offensive prowess, its number of auxiliary abilities was staggering.
Yùtù looked at his master with a curious look, because among the Shikigami, it was one of the smartest, if not outright the smartest. Well, it bore two Abilities that had the word "Sage" in their names, which was more than enough to teach about the intellect of the Jade-Moon Rabbit.
The Paragon Golden Body was nothing short of overpowered, but he was really curious about the extent of the Invincibility that it offered and what the restrictions and laws of such an ability were.
If there were none... then it would be an extremely overpowered skill, but Yakou felt that it was only for the attacks that were in a certain range of power or the ones that were abiding by a certain set of rules.
He was wondering if the ability of Gungir would be effective against the Paragon Golden Body of the Jade-Moon Rabbit. As he looked at the Skils, even the last one, which was Charm, was immensely useful, because having a skill that was able to confuse opponents at the right moment was invaluable during combat.
"You wanna return?"
He asked the Jade-Moon Rabbit, as Yùtù just gave him a nod of his head, because he already wanted to return to his colony. When Jade-Moon Rabbits were highly sociable creatures, and they often lived in packs.
His ancestors must be pretty lucky to make a control with one of their Elders... though that was only Yakou's assumption when he saw that Yùtù was very old, even for the standards of the Jade-Moon Rabbits.
Seeing that the Yùtù wanted to return to his group, he dismissed the Jade-Moon Rabbit and directly proceeded to the other three Shikigamis that were remaining on the list for him to unlock.
The 6th Shikigami was an enormous deer-like creature that appeared in front of him, radiating calmness, peace, and a certain kind of celestial feeling. Like one was looking directly at the heavens.
It was a muscular deer, like really, with its ears close to the top of its head, above its fine-pronged antlers. The symbol on the left side of its neck resembles the Jewel of Resuscitation.
The Round Deer was another of the more or less supportive among the Twelve Divine Shikigami, and the only purpose of the Round Deer was to heal. Contrary to the Jade-Moon Rabbit, the Round Deer possessed several powerful Magic and Innate Abilities that were related to healing.

Compared to the other Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, Round Deer didn't have that many particular abilities, but its clear specialization in the Healing Arts was something that was greatly visible.

[Ultimate Healer - The User of this Skill has ultimate affinity for the various forms of the Healing Magic and could use the Healing Magic in the most efficient way imaginable.]
Another thing was the fact that the Round Deer was a Pseudo A-Rank Shikigami only thanks to the high amount of Mana that the Shikigami possessed. Otherwise, it would be a solid B-Rank Shikigami, though its utility wasn't in its power but in its ability to heal.
Though for Yakou, the problem was whether the healing abilities of the Round Deer were capable of influencing someone like him.
A Campione.
It was arguable that the healing done by the Round Deer would be effective on the Campione, and Yakou could come up with long arguments that would be in favor of the assumption, but also against it.
One of the most notable ones was that, if the Round Deer was Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique, which were technically speaking an extension of himself, as it was his Inherent Onmyōdō Technique, then it should work.
But at the same time, he feared that, despite that, the healing wouldn't be that effective, because the Round Deer lacked Divine Properties in its Mana. However, he wondered if the Divine Mana could be replaced with the Celestial Properities, as the Round Deer was of the Celestial Deer species.
He would seriously need to carry out some tests on that to see if the Healing Arts of the Round Deer were effective on the Campione. But that was for the later date, as he dismissed the summoning of the Round Deer.
"This would be more problematic... if the Healing of the Round Deer cannot be used on me right now, then I would need to force evolution of the Round Deer so its healing skills are effective on the Campione as well... but for that, I would need to find Divine Beast."
Yakou muttered as he analyzed the situation because he was almost sure that the effects of the Round Dear wouldn't be effective at all on him or that its effect would be severely diminished.
And to have the wished effect, he would need to find a Divine Beast of the same attributes that he could then use to evolve the Round Deer. Which would be pretty torubleosoem, because Divine Beasts didn't grow on trees.
And finding one with particular abilities to suit the Round Deer?
Even more challenging.
Yakou only had two Shikigami before him, which were the 7th Gate and 8th Gate corresponding to the Onikuma Yōkai and Demon Fox Yōkai. Yakou then proceeded to unleash the 7th Gate, the Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear.
The Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear was over 6 meters tall, with thick dark golden fur on its body. Its arms are extremely long and thick, extending below the knees. Its shoulders are the most exaggerated, swelling up like little mountains. A pair of sharp dark gold claws have a length of over one meter in length.
The Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear was certainly one of the most intimidating Shikigami in his arsenal, and it looked frightening. On the level of Mahoraga, because that was a category on its own, but it also wasn't that far from it.
An Onikuma, literally "demon bear", is a Japanese Yōkai originating in the Kiso Valley in Nagano Prefecture. It is a bear-like creature that has been known to walk upright. They sneak into villages at night to carry off livestock for food. It was first recorded described in the Ehon Hyaku Monogatari, a collection of supernatural tales published in 1841.
Onikumas were one of the more common Yōkai in certain parts of Japan, but the one that was rather unlucky to become part of the Twelve Divine Shikigami wasn't that ordinary at all.
This was the one that was forced to become part of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, which was captured only a few centuries ago and was probably the youngest Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami.

The reason why it was called Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear was due to its Skill, The Sky Splitting Claw, which some of the members of the Onikuma Yōkai species possessed... but not all of them.
Just some.
It was a kind of mutation among the Onikuma Yōkai because not all specimens of this Yōkai race possessed the ability of the Sky Splitting Claw, as that was something that only a few of them possessed.
He could see that this was the reason why some of his ancestors went through the entire hassle of searching and capturing one of the Onikumas.

Yakou understood that for the other users of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, they would probably never use the Mad Enhancement and Bloodthirst simultaneously, because of what it could result in.
But Yakou didn't have the problem.
He was Campione, and by nature, he was far stronger than all of the Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates put together... maybe sans Mahoraga, because even he didn't know the limits of his Adaptation Ability that was extremely dangerous and ridiculously overpowered.
For any Onmyōji or Mage, there was a possibility that they could lose control over their Summon or Shikigami if the said Summon or Shikigami went berserk, and they were not powerful enough to contain the creature.
It wasn't like this was happening very often, but it was happening more than one would think.
Yakou then looked at the Xiong, as he released him into the "wilderness" because if there was one thing that the Onikumas were doing for most of their time, it was sleeping. These were some incredibly lazy Yōkai that spent most of their time either sleeping or eating.
Nothing between.
Though... when they were disrupted from their activities, they were extremely dangerous and enraged to the point where they would chase the offender till the end of the world. After letting the Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear out, he turned his attention to the last Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates.
The 8th Gate Key, Kyūbi.
When the 8th Gate Key of the Kyūbi was unsleaed, an enormous white-furred nine-tailed fox appeared from the Golden Gate, Yakou suddenly felt something happening within his Soul...
It was a pretty weird feeling, but when he looked closer, he noticed that it seemed like his very own Soul was going through some kind of sublimation. In the history of the Tsuchimikado Clan, there were only a few people who mastered the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates and unsealed or tamed all 12 Divine Shikigami.
More precisely, there were only two of them.
The Ancestor of the Tsuchimikado Clan, Abe no Semei and Yakou's namesake, Tsuchimikado Yakou.
Most of the other Patriarchs or users of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, were stuck at unsealing Mahoraga. The Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga was a Shikigami who was always part of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, and he was extremely...
Challenging to unseal and tame.
Yakou never had any problems when it came to unslealing and taming the Twelve Divine Shikigami, because he was Campione... and Shikigami were all living beings, some of them were no less intelligent than humans and knew what the Campiones represented.
But that wasn't the truth for everyone else.
Yakou then used the All-Seeing Eyes of God to see what exactly was happening in his Soul upon the completion of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates and noticed something particular.
There were twelve apucuntures within his Soul that became visible after the completion of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, and Yakou knew what they were almost on an instinctive basis.
When one mastered the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates, they could use the Technique to copy some of the Skills or Abilities of the Shikigami that were part of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates.
The process was rather arduous, but it was possible.
Normally, the user of the technique only borrows them if he has mastered the Inherent Onmyōdō Technique enough, but when one unsleaed all twelve of them, they could copy and simulate one Skill from each Shikigami.
"Well... this is immensely powerful... I initially planned to be content with borrowing the Abilities of the Twelve Divine Shikigami, but this is on a whole other level."
Yakou muttered as he pondered over how to develop this ability. And at the same time, this would be something for the long-term development because it couldn't be done overnight.
So for the time being, he decided to focus on the Nine-Tailed Fox Shikigami.

Just based on the parameters alone, the Nine-Tailed Fox wasn't that far from reaching A-Rank, which would certainly be splendid news for Yakou. However, the planned to elevate all of his Shikigami through the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique to A-Rank.
Ideally, even beyond that in the future.

Even the abilities that the Nine-Tailed Fox possessed were pretty unique, and among the Twelve Divine Shikigami, it was certainly the one that was more balanced. It had plenty of offensive prowess, but at the same time, she also possessed a lot of versatile abilities.
Especially the combination of the Charm and Seven Emotions and Six Desires seemed to be an unexpectedly dangerous combination when used together. Hagoromo Gitsune could basically charma nd control almost any mortal and then simply burn him with the Fox Fire while the target was still under her Spell.
It was pretty frightening when one thought about it.
With the Nine-Tailed Fox insleaed, the Inherent Onmyōdō Technique was finally complete.
Yakou would need some time to familiarize himself with the full technique, but it wouldn't be a problem, because as Campione, there was almost barely noticeable strain when he was using the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique.
Normally, when the users of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates were using the technique, there was a certain strain on them... well, the Shikigami that were part of the Twelve Divine Shikigami were far from ordinary, and some of the creatures that became part of it were not twice happy serving an average Master.
Though Yakou, who was also Campione, didn't have this problem like the others.

The atmosphere today at the Numengard Estate is different because today is the day that the mistress of the Numengard Estate is giving birth. Several days have passed since Yakou was unslealing the rest of the Divnie Shikigami of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates Technique.
Just an hour ago, he was informed that Kirari had gone to the labor and right now she was attended by the best doctors and healers that the Illuminati Society could get together.
Yakou wasn't present because he was literally kicked out by the mother, but he gave her some of his Divine Mana that would ensure the protection of the life of both mother and child.
At least he hoped for that.
Right now, he was in one of the drawing rooms of the Numengard Estate that was closest to the room, where Kirari was giving birth. The only one that was within the Estate from his lovers was Eve, who was actually spending most of her time in the Estate, and then Katagiri Aira, who was his pseudo-lover.
The blue-haired maid in a skimpy outfit had already given him some relief because he was under a lot of stress due to Kirari giving birth. Despite everything, he was under extreme duress as he hoped that everything would go alright.
The birth of the progeny of the Campione was a huge thing.
"For someone so powerful, you look like a wreck?"
And Yakou was really looking a bundle of nerves... he was pretty nervous despite everything... during the time that Kirari was pregnant, he was using his Divine Mana to strengthen her constitution so she would be alright and also get stronger.
"It's pretty ironic, don't you think?"
Yakou said that he also found it pretty ironic that he was so nervous about the entire situation, but there wasn't much that he could do about it.
Still, the Illuminati Society procured the best doctors and healers that were available, so hopefully it would be alright. In fact, Yakou was even now using a special spell to monitor the vital signs of both Kirari and the child, and it seemed that everything was going to be okey.

It was told that the Campiones were beings that had defied their Fate and by killing the Heretic God, they had rid themselves of a shackle of Fate itself.
But Yakou knew that it was bullshit.
If such a thing were true, then they wouldn't be used as pawns in a much greater game.
After his fight... if it could even be called that, with Kusanagi Godou, Yakou realized something.
This entire thing...
It was nothing more than a chessboard, and the Campiones were slightly more important pawns between the Chessmasters.
He didn't know who all the Chessmasters were... but he knew that two of them were the most obvious of all.
All-Giving Woman and Primordial Flame Titan.
Those were the major players behind everything, and they were, in the end, just pawns in their greater game.
Something that Yakou found as distasteful...
There were other signs to support his theory.
First was the number of the Campiones.
It was well known that the Camppiones were virtually ageless, but despite that, there were only 8 of them right now. There were historical records of many other Campiones existing over the course of several millenias, but they were all killed?
It was a little bit too coincidental.
If he were a betting person, then he would bet that this scenario followed this concrete pattern.
'She' created Campiones for some reason that was still unknown to him, but the Campiones themselves were put under severe restrictions, together with the Heretic Gods that were descending from the Mythos.
These Campiones would then hunt the Heretic Gods and get stronger with the goal of breaking through the restrictions.
What were the restrictions?
Constrained to the S-Rank Parameter.
Even with the modifiers, it was still within the realm of the S-Rank Parameter.
And once there was an appropriate time... either when there were multiple Campiones born, or there was someone who managed to actually reach the necessary realm, then the final test of this scenario would come.
Yakou was sure that Pandora had some special being or perhaps a special Heretic God prepared whose Parameters had reached the SS-Rank that would be released in this concrete moment to fight with the Campione who broke through the limit.
If the Campione won, he would get the power of the "Final Boss" and get stronger.
If not, then he would die.
If there was no Campione that broke the limit, then it was highly possible that Pandora would deem the generation of the Campiones as a failure and release the Boss to clean up the generation.
Which meant that he would kill everyone and reset the stage.
And everything would start anew.
'I need to find some Heretic God related to the Fate and Destiny and kill him... But killing Heretic God related to the Fate would be extremely challenging.'
Yakou thought as he knew that even finding Heretic God that was related to the Fate would be nigh impossible, because those who dealt with the Fate were the most troublesome opponents that one could even imagine.
At the same time, if it were any other Campione who dared to do what Yakou wanted to do, he was sure that 'She' would never allow Campione to get their hands on the Divine Authority that was related to the Fate in any way.
Yakou knew that the Divine Authorities of the Heretic Gods were not on the same level as one would expect from the Gods... or rather from the True Gods, as he started calling Gods that were True and not Heretic.
In Yakou's understanding, the Heretic Gods were nothing more than False Deities, that were dependent on the Faith, Mythos, and Worship to exist. So by that logic, if something like that existed, there must also be True Gods that were more in line with the definition of the Godhood that one had.
But Yakou had something different in his arsenal that was giving him a certain degree of confidence in this act.
Divine Authority of the God Killer.
Something that he obtained from killing Aži Dahāka, he was more and more convinced that it was the True God.
With the Divine Authority of the God Killer, Yakou was confident that he could kill the Heretic God related to the Fate or Destiny and usurp its Divine Authority.
That was his ticket out.
As he was pondering over his plans, suddenly he felt a familial connection to him, one that was formed with his Bloodline. Even though the Illuminati Society has barely scratched the surface of the information that Athena gave Yakou...
Ritual of the First Manas... he already mastered a lot of the lore from the Ritual of the First Manas, and he had to admit that it was something staggering. The Divine Authority of Mímir's Well was extremely useful and overpowered for something like that.
One of the uses that it had was to allow one to create a connection to people who were sharing his Bloodline.
Like direct descendants and so on.
When he felt that connection being formed, he knew that his son was born.
"Congratulations, Your Majesty. Madam has given birth to a baby boy, and both of them are healthy and in perfect condition."
Suddenly, as they were waiting in one of the drawing rooms, one of the doctors who was overseeing the process came to Yakou and informed him that his son had been born. Yakou, who heard that, just stood there for some time and pondered over the emotional turmoil that he had right now.
For the Campiones, one of the worst things that could happen was a wave of intense emotions, because that could lead to uncontrolled destruction of the environment.
Fortunately, Yakou didn't suffer from the side effects of the extreme usage of Occlumency and Mind Arts anymore, as he rebuilt all of his mental shields and protection around his mind some time ago.
And they were in a much more refined manner, and they were no longer aimed at the emotional suppression and increase in the calculation abilities, like he had done before he was Campione.
In the past, when Yakou was experimenting with the Occlumency and Mind Arts, one of the main reasons why he had decided to go for extreme emotion suppression through the Mind Arts was because he discovered that this way, he could increase the computing abilities of his brain.
Which was something absolutely essential for Casting Magic and affecting The 1st Grand Cardinal Code: Principle of Eidos Intervention and The 2nd Grand Cardinal Code: Principle of Magic Calculation.
Now that he was Campione, all of the boosts that he obtained as a mortal were absolutely negligible, because Campiones themselves were operating on an entirely different level when it came to the calculation capabilities of their mind.
Soon enough, Yakou returned more to his composed self as he followed after the doctor to the room, where Kirari gave birth and was currently being tended by the doctors and healers.
"I must look terrible."
This was the first thing that she said to him, as he chuckled because she wanted to be perfect even at the time like that...
"And I won the bet."
Some time ago, both of them bet on how she would look after giving birth. Kirari, who believed that she would look good no matter what, bet that she would look splendid, while Yakou bet the complete opposite.
"At least that you can admit defeat..."
He said as he sent all people out of the room so they could speak in private.
"That just after birth fatigue... don't get used to it as something that would become common."
She quickly retorted as she cradled the newborn child in her arms.
"Are you going to name him?"
Kirari asked as she looked at her newborn son, who was sleeping peacefully.
She could see that their progeny would be one of the strongest in the world, right after the Campiones, not long afterward. At the same time, now that she had given birth to the child of Campione, there was no one who would even dare to look at her in a bad way within the Momobami Clan.
"Tsuchimikado Satoru."
As he gave the newborn the name, he then used the All-Seeing Eyes of God to display the Status Screen of the Shikigami through the interface of Crow's System Ability.

Yakou observed the Crow's manifestation of the Status Screen that showed the data of his firstborn and noted that he was born with a ridiculous amount of Mana. In the current age, having Mana Parameter in D+++ meant that one was stronger than 99% of the Great Knights and Elite Mages.
Just by being born, Satoru could be regarded as one of the strongest Mages in pure Mana alone. At the same time, there was another thing... his other Parameters were also not that low, especially the Luck Parameter and Vitality.
Even if one didn't consider these things, then there was the topic of the abilities that he was born with.
The good thing was that Satoru inherited one of the Inherent Onmyōdō Techniques of the Tsuchimikado Clan, the Gram Demolition. He knew that one of the greatest downsides of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates was that, only one person per generation could become the user of the Twelve Divine Shikigami Contract Gates.

Aside from that, Satoru also had his own Innate Onmyōdō Technique called Shrine, but it was sealed. Like the All-Seeing Eyes of God that were also sealed, but for that one, it may be good because he wouldn't be able to handle them if they were not sealed.
'Unsealing those things would be a hassle... that's for certain.'
He thought as he pondered over the abilities of his newborn. In several regards, the reality even exceeded his expectations by a huge margin, in fact. Maybe because the parameters of the newborn Satoru were higher than expected, and he even had his own Innate Onmyōdō Technique.
Which, if properly developed, would become another Inherent Onmyōdō Technique of the Tsuchimikado Clan.
And by the fact that he had also inherited the All-Seeing Eyes of God, it was clear that this was also an inheritable trait.
'It seems that I need to pay closer attention to the concept of the Bloodliens and their development... If there is anything that the Kure Clan has taught the world, the Bloodline Development could give the world a surprise.'
The Kure Clan depended on strict eugenics and bloodline development, and they managed to produce several Martial Saints, and perhaps someone would reach an even higher level in the future.
And this was all done without someone deliberately refining and perfecting the Kure Bloodline because they had none of such a person. Meanwhile, Yakou had his extensive knowledge of Magic, Divine Authorities, and the Ritual of the First Manas.
'If the formation isn't wrong, I could create Bloodline Source Core and act as the origin of the entire Bloodline for the whole Tsuchimikado Clan... that should allow me to modify the Bloodlines of all clansmen and my descendants at will. Though that would require some really advanced Magic to create.'
Ritual of the First Manas didn't only contain the information bout the creation of the Magic Blood, but it also contained a lot of lore about the Bloodlines. And Yakou suspected that a lot of this knowledge didn't even originate from this very own world.

As was expected, the talent of the direct descendant of the Campione was something out of the chart. The fact that his son would have higher longevity was a really good thing, because living longer meant that their Clan would prosper for much longer.
It would be a great shame if such talent like Satoru was, in the end, restrained by the lifespan, and Yakou found the other methods of prolonging the lifespan rather crude and distasteful.
Most of the people in the Moonlit Side of the World who wanted to prolong their lifespan depended on pretty crooked means that ranged from various types of Sacrificial Magic to creating Phylactery and becoming a Lich.
'If we play the cards right... There may be potential for my son to become Campione... I guess that in the future, with the adjustments, it would be easier to become Campione or at least Archmage if not Campione outright.'
Archmage was a word that barely anyone used in the modern age, but it was always spoken with utmost reverence and fear. According to the records, the Archmages were as strong as Campione with pure Magic alone, even if they lacked all of their persk.
In direct combat, they would lose almost instantly, because despite everything, if anything unforeseen happened, then the Archmage was still a mortal Mage, and their Magic couldn't really affect Campione.
Nevertheless, they still commanded tremendous destructive prowess.

Kirari asked because she knew that the Yakou was actually checking out the talent of their son.

Yakou said as he kissed Kirari on her forehead, as it was clear that she was very tired from giving birth. He was impressed that his son had such a high talent, but Yakou also understood that talent alone was worthless without the right mindset.
"Also... I didn't bring you any gifts, so I will bring you something nice for giving birth to our little treasure and Kirari... I love you. Thank you very much for the effort."
In truth, he was rather nervous as he said that because he was never the most emotional person in this regard, and saying these things out loud was weird for him. He couldn't really describe what exactly he was feeling right now, but it was something between joy, nervousness, and something like that.
He was also glad that both Kirari and small Satoru were both alright and healthy.

During the pregnancy, her body changed, and she became pregnant, which was good news for both of them. It was also pretty fortunate that her talent wasn't really low, but the real training could start only right now.
