Mori starts his speech as he slowly pulls out his weapon, "Currently the world's population is at around 2 Billion. Even so, more than 19 million kill themselves every year."
Osprey responds quickly "Why are you saying this-"
Mori: "It's because of people like you. People like Mr.N."
Osprey: ....
Mori's mask of composure cracks, just for a moment — a fleeting flicker of something raw behind his steady eyes. He catches it, breathes in, and forces it back down. He just wants to scream and express his hatred his agony but he holds it back.
Taking a deep breath Mori simply says "His ambition I hate it. So much. It's so out of control. He thinks he's a god in human clothing and everyone must pay the price for his sins."
Mori gets emotional as he raises his hands, flashing back to the past — Issak's inability to simply accept what is, instead of making everything what he wishes it to be, is going to ruin the world at a level where it will never recover.
Osprey sympathising with his opponent simply apologizes for his friends behaviour, Mori is right, this isnt fiction its not a video game. Real life humans and their lives are at stake and Issak has murdered hundreds of thousands if not millions due to his ambitions. But Osprey knows this but he can't betray Issak now. He just can't, there's no point in having this conversation, it's just sad.
Mori with one last effort tells Osprey that Issak must be stopped, I know you like that girl. For all the wrong reasons but you still love her. Carry her with you and leave it all behind.
Issak, the elite guards, the armies under your name. Mr. President is a reasonable man he will forgive you.
Osprey smirks " Na I doubt it."
Mori responds quick "The grass is greener on the other side. You know that."
Osprey sighs as his self doubt starts to leave his body "I'm sorry I'm brainwashed, I believe in Issak, if the world burns and he wants me to light the match, I'll light it. I'll be that demon, because I believe that once he's at the top of the ashes, he will rebuild it better than it ever was before. And he's the only one who can do that. Only he posseses the heart required to do that.
Mori's face contorts with disgust "You don't understand what it means to have the people you love safe and secure."
Osprey claps back "Yea because im not selfish! Why do I deserve to be safe and secure playing house while others are out there being burned alive for just existing? Born into starvation with no way out? "I'll never work for the president who is too busy making sure America is safe that he neglects the fact that the entire world is going to perish.."
As we get a side by side of both ideologies these two realize they will never come to an agreement.
Mori extends his weapon as he says "Ignorance is bliss. Maintaining peace despite how small the circle is, is the most important thing there is in this world. A place of comfort. A home to return to, with no worries. Our children deserve that, Not everyone can have it, but those who do have it.... its a blessing. I wish you understood how that felt… Osprey.."
Silence engulfs the battlefield.
Osprey, as if possessed by determination, fully makes up his mind as his resolve spikes.
"Your soft. I'm too busy fixing the world to settle for worldly comforts. Thank me in 30 years.
As Osprey crushes his communicator Mori only hears static.
