Bruce stepped out of the cloak, somehow, he escaped the explosion with Anika, but Anika got hit badly, her face was burnt totally and her bones were crushed, he had used his body to cover her from the fire but the explosion sent her flying towards a crashing building.
He was burnt but he used Jason as a body shield burning just half of his body up to his face, he had a stitch from his cheek to the corner of his cheek.
When he dragged anika from under the crushed building, her body got scrapped in the ground, he took her and was walking when he found Jason's body on the ground, black and hideous
He took his body along and dumped it over the huge bridge and watched the way the flowing water took his body away, there was an old woman who found them and brought them to her home
She was a native doctor, she used natural resources for her medications.
She helped Anika and Bruce all through but Anika remained unresponsive to the medications.

The coffin was lowered into the ground, everyone had tears in their eyes.
Sadie was the loudest crier then Matteo's mother, Matteo's father stared at the grave with a sad expression.
Draco didn't move or show any emotions but his face said it all, he had been through hell.
The funeral continued and soon the grave was covered with sand and the grave stone was planted.
Sadie stared at the grave stone hard

Three months later
Snow covered the whole of Italy, Christmas lights, trees and Christmas
Decorations were surrounding the entire Italy and the Christianos were not excluded
It was the big night of Christmas Eve, the day before the supposed joyful day
Draco was Beside Anika's grave looking at the necklace he planned on giving her after he saved her from Jason.
Sadie was in her room, tucked under blankets crying her heart out, still heartbroken about her loss
Oliver was out drinking again
Xena was in zenyatta's room, holding her unconscious lover
Selena was preparing to go get Oliver's butt before he was beaten up by gangsters....for the sixth time!!.
Everyone was lost in their own misery
Then the Christmas bell rang and they all dragged themselves to the huge living room for a get together.
Draco was in his usual corner, Sadie sat on the floor beside Xena, then Selena entered with Oliver clinging to her like a koala.
Matteo's parents were still around, in their own sadness.
Matteo's mother could not bear the pain of losing another child.

"I know this Christmas is not a very happy one, but we have to move on.... healing is the hardest thing that can ever happen to anyone but just know that just because your heart is broken doesn't mean it can't be fixed-"
"I'm leaving" Sadie said
"What?" Everyone looked at her and she stood up
"I found out I was pregnant some weeks ago and Matteo's dad is right, we need to move on.... moving on from Matteo would be the hardest thing ever done but I have to and I'll be leaving for New York after New year"
"Can we rewind to the part where you're pregnant?" Draco finally asked
Sadie looked down "it happened on the day he died, I asked him to get me pregnant but he refused so i-"
Draco took a deep breath and walked out of the house
Sadie sighed "I knew he would be mad"
"So you're leaving?" Selena asked and she nodded "I leave next week after New year, I don't know when I would be back though"
Cough cough "what's going on here"
Everyone looked at the source of voice and gasped
