because now you are a weak creature who is nothing more than dust— I will give you something that can help you when you carry out your duties."
Celis raised her eyebrows slightly, "what will you give me?"
From the dark, silent void, a speck of purple light appeared in the distance. The light began to approach where Celis stood.
"Take it. I hope it will be useful for you." He said with an echo that shook the void. "This is our first and last meeting." After that deep voice spoke, who knows where it came from. Silence began to envelop the void, nothing would emerge from behind the void that showed no life.
"Did he leave?" Celis muttered, He tried several times to find the figure behind the voice, but it was all in vain.
Celis looked back at the purple light that was beginning to approach her. She reached out, trying to grab a ray of light. Celis had no more hope for the light, "Can he help me?"
At that moment, the purple light shot out at lightning speed. Celis widened her eyes and took a stance, ready to catch it.
The purple light began to land on Celis's hand, but Celis was surprised when she didn't feel anything after catching the light.
"and always remember. you have many curses." The voice returned one last time, he warned Celis in a tone that sounded mocking as if he was playing someone like a hand puppet.
Celis was shocked to death as the loud voice assaulted her mind. Celis nearly stumbled into the void, the darkness nearly swallowing her. because he began to realize that he wanted to live longer—with strong determination Celis began to try to reach the golden light that appeared in the middle of the void.
"damn... mn... I... will take revenge..." he said in a choked voice, He fought with all his might, risking his body and soul to be able to continue living a better life.
As he slowly began to weaken and slowly fade away as if erased by something incomprehensible—He managed to grasp the golden light. It felt very warm and overflowing energy began to flow throughout Celis's soul, saving her from the brink of extinction.
A terrible sandstorm began to sweep across every land in its path. There was no life in this land of death. Even to be able to live, a person must struggle, not only with determination but also with relentless effort.
A drop of water fell from the sky. He slid quite quickly towards Celis' forehead. The droplet shattered as it hit Celis' forehead. Unbeknownst to her, a small lizard had crawled across her face. The animal seemed to stick out its forked tongue and lick a little water on Celis' forehead.
Celis began to open her eyes and blink a few times. At that moment, the little lizard fled after realizing the object she had stepped on had started to move.
"Arghh... What happened?" He wondered about everything that had just happened.
He seemed to be holding his forehead, trying to remember something. However, one of his hands felt like it was holding something cold and quite heavy.
As he shifted his gaze to his other hand, he saw a purplish-black spear in his hand. He saw the spearhead, with its uniquely shaped blade, beautifully carved. Celis continued to stare at the spear, and whispers of hatred beg
an to appear in her mind. But she tried to ignore them.
A Moments later, Celis felt the tremors growing stronger, shaking the ground where he stood.
He turned toward the center of the area where the vibrations and rumbling originated. His sharp gaze searched intently, trying to find even the slightest clue about the cause of the event.
POV Celis:
What's happening to me? I still can't understand why I was suddenly sent to this strange world. But I'm becoming more and more certain that magic exists—and it's a part of this world.
The more I thought about it, the more my head throbbed painfully, each pulse sharper than before. I winced and held my head for a moment, trying to ease the pain.
When I looked up, a massive sandstorm—hundreds of meters high—was sweeping through everything in its path.
Oh damn!
It seems I'll have to fight again...
This time, I'm truly weak. That storm could easily wipe me out in an instant. Within the roaring winds, explosions echoed each time purple lightning struck the ground it passed.
There's no doubt—I won't survive if I recklessly charge into that storm. I don't even understand the knowledge or the rules of this world.
In my right hand, I held a mysterious spear that emitted a chilling, bone-piercing aura. It felt cold to the touch.
Rather than worrying about that, shouldn't I focus on protecting this fragile body first? Yes, that's right.
Without wasting any more time, I spotted a small crevice in the cliff to my right. Luckily, it wasn't too far—maybe it could save me.
I ran with all my strength toward it. But just as my hand reached into the gap—my hope shattered the moment my body couldn't fit completely inside.
I tried to force my way in, even as every push scraped and cut into my skin. Panic surged through me...
The thunderous storm drew closer, the ground trembling violently as bolts struck the earth and shattered it apart.
"Damn it!"
I gripped tightly the strange spear I had laid down moments ago.
Out of desperation, I used the spear to smash apart every piece of rock blocking the entrance to the space within.
