"Minato!"
When Kushina saw Minato, she didn't show a trace of reservation. She ran, took a big leap, and hung onto his body.
Minato had been gone for more than half a month. Since they had met, this was the first time Kushina had been separated from Minato for so long.
Holding Kushina in his arms, feeling her attachment, Minato felt a faint sense of guilt in his heart. But he quickly threw the guilt aside. After all, he had already gotten involved with Mikoto. What could be done?
Holding Kushina's small hand, he walked towards the school gate, only to be blocked halfway by Senju Nawaki.
"Nawaki, what do you want?" Kushina asked, looking at the person who had suddenly appeared.
"Kushina, after more than half a month of hard training, I've improved a lot! Come on, let's have an exciting battle!" Senju Nawaki had always brooded over his defeat to Kushina.
So, for more than half a month, he had been training hard. How could he lose to a girl? If he couldn't beat Minato, he had to at least beat Kushina.
"No way! I want to go eat with Minato." Minato had just gotten back. This young lady didn't have time to play 'duel' with him. He should stay on the side.
"No! I must defeat you today!" Nawaki's temper was also stubborn. He completely failed to read the situation, not realizing he was interrupting their sweet time.
Looking at the one-track-minded Nawaki, Kushina's hair began to fly up in anger. This guy really had no perception.
As for Minato, he was watching the show from the side, finding it very interesting.
He hadn't been discouraged by Kushina's blow; instead, it made Senju Nawaki become this active.
"Bastard! Go to hell!" Unable to bear it any longer, the furious Kushina used her monstrous strength punch to send the defenseless Nawaki flying. After hitting a wall, he was knocked unconscious on the spot.
"Waaah! The Red-Hot Habanero is rampaging again! Run!" The surrounding kids, upon seeing this, were scared silly, crying for their parents, and ran straight out of the school.
"Aren't you afraid you hit Nawaki so hard he'll be stupid? You'll have trouble explaining that to Tsunade-neesan." Although he said this, Minato's tone held no trace of blame.
"Who told him to be so tactless, insisting on dueling today?" Kushina pouted, glancing unhappily at Nawaki's body in the distance.
Seeing this, Minato didn't say anything more. He left the school with Kushina and Mikoto, heading towards Ichiraku Ramen.
Compared to Yakiniku, Kushina loved Ichiraku Ramen the most. The kind she could never get tired of eating.
Kushina gave Mikoto, who was next to her, a slightly strange look. He was taking Mikoto-neesan to eat with them today. Although it was strange, Kushina didn't think much of it.
At Ichiraku Ramen, they caught up with Teuchi. After eating ramen, it was already noon.
Minato took Kushina and Mikoto to a training ground. The environment there was not only good, with waterfalls and lakes, but it also had grassy areas where they could lie down and look up at the sky.
After pulling Kushina and Mikoto to sit beside him, Minato began to ask about Kushina's recent situation. "Has the Nine-Tails been behaving lately? Has he spoken to you?"
"That tsundere dead fox still refuses to talk to me. Every time I talk to him, he just lies on the ground and plays dead." Kushina was fuming just thinking about it.
She had pestered that stinky fox quite a bit during this time, but the stinky fox ignored her. It was so infuriating.
"It's fine. Take it slow, you'll succeed eventually." Minato wasn't worried. If it really didn't work, he could just forcibly extract the Nine-Tails' chakra. The Nine-Tails Chakra Mode wasn't bad either.
"Mhm." She nodded obediently. Kushina was not prepared to give up talking to the Nine-Tails. Plus, Minato hoped for it, so she continued to work hard.
"Right, Mikoto, Kushina will also need your care in the future." Minato intentionally introduced Mikoto to Kushina, preparing for their peaceful coexistence in the future.
"I know Mikoto-neesan! She's your teammate. I know, I met her when I was learning the summoning jutsu from Jiraiya-sensei." Kushina didn't think much of it, smiling.
But clearly, that wasn't what Minato meant. So he said, "Of course I know you know each other. But I hope you two can become very good friends, or best friends."
"Mhm, no problem! Mikoto-neesan is your teammate. Of course, I need her to take care of you on a daily basis!" Kushina's way of thinking was different from Minato's.
But in their hearts, both were thinking of the other's well-being. Both hoped the elder Mikoto could take care of the other.
Mikoto listened, shook her head, and laughed. No wonder Minato cared so much for Kushina. A girl who was wholeheartedly devoted to him was simply too rare.
If he didn't dote on a girl like this, was he supposed to dote on other girls?
"Don't worry, Kushina. I will take good care of Minato when we are out. And of course, I will also take good care of both of you in the village." Mikoto showed a gentle smile, agreeing to both of their requests.
