Chapter 43 - Chapter 43

"Cough, cough!" Rayleigh coughed continuously at the side, trying to awaken the minds of his companions.

Unfortunately, these men had already been overwhelmed by beauty, their eyes filled with hearts as they stared intently at Xia Qi.

Just then, a loud shout suddenly came from the distance: "Roger, don't even think about running!"

Roger, who was still mesmerized by beauty, was immediately snapped back to his senses by the familiar voice. "I can't believe I ran all the way here, and you, you bastard Garp, still managed to chase me."

"Hahahaha! Roger, you won't get away this time! To catch you, I even threw away my Den Den Mushi. No one is going to stop me from arresting you this time."

[Fist Bone: Meteor] Garp grabbed a cannonball and threw it with all his might. The cannonball turned into a meteor, hurtling straight towards the island.

"Hey, hey, hey! This won't do. You can't interrupt the birthday party," Roger said with a wild laugh on his face, no longer paying any attention to Xia Qi.

His eyes were only on Garp. As he drew his sword, Ace, crimson lightning wrapped around it, and he unleashed a powerful flying slash.

[Raging Spirit] The two attacks collided. Roger's flying slash split the cannonball in two, continuing towards Garp with undiminished force.

Garp's fist, coated in pitch-black Armament Haki, punched the slash aside. The flying slash fell into the sea, splitting the ocean itself!

Garp looked at Roger and shouted, "Roger, surrender without a fight!"

Roger looked back at Garp with equal fervor and yelled, "Are you kidding me? I'm going to be the freest pirate on the seas!"

The two figures rapidly closed in on each other, but just then, a third party appeared.

"Today is my and Linlin's birthday! How dare you make such a ruckus at a time like this? You're not showing me any respect at all," Milim said, her eyes glowing red.

Two dragon claws grabbed Roger's sword, Ace, and Garp's iron fist, respectively.

"Why is Milim here?" Garp's eyes widened as he looked at Milim, who had caught his fist. He couldn't understand why he was seeing Milim when he was in the middle of chasing Roger.

"This is bad," Roger's mouth twitched. He had gotten too excited seeing Garp and lost control of his emotions. He was definitely done for now.

"Since you two love fighting so much, then take one of my moves!" With that, Milim flapped the dragon wings on her back, and with one person in each hand, she flew towards the sky at high speed.

"Hey, Milim, what are you doing?" Roger's eyes widened as he watched Milim's figure accelerate, carrying both of them rapidly up into the sky.

A ferocious smile appeared on Milim's face. "I'll let you witness my newly developed ultimate move, Seismic Toss!"

As she spoke, Milim's ascent into the sky grew faster and faster. Without the protection of Milim's magic, the air friction quickly ignited the clothes on Garp and Roger. The surrounding heat grew more and more intense.

This forced Garp and Roger to use Armament Haki to protect their entire bodies. As they reached an altitude of thirty thousand meters, with the island below becoming a blurry spot, Milim finally stopped.

Garp still had the leisure to pick his nose with one hand. "Milim, what did you bring us up here for? You're not going to just drop us, are you?" Garp had tried to break free, but her hand felt as if it were being held down by a ten-thousand-ton weight, completely immovable.

Seeing the brilliant smile on Milim's face, Roger swallowed hard. "No way... Are you really going to do that?"

[Seismic Toss] Milim didn't respond. She simply folded her wings.

Positioning herself head-down, she began to spin with Garp and Roger in her grasp, going faster and faster. The three of them looked like a giant fireball plummeting towards the sea.

The rapid rotation made even seasoned sailors like Roger and Garp feel their stomachs churn and their heads spin, as if their brains were being scrambled.

On the port, everyone watched the fireball in the sky get closer and closer to the sea, their mouths agape, not knowing what to say.

"The captain... he's not going to die, is he?" Gaban finally spoke up.

The surrounding crew members began to discuss it. "Fighting during a birthday banquet, the captain really is impolite."

"He's definitely done for this time. He's going to get beaten to death by Milim."

Although they tried to comfort each other with their words, the tension in their hearts was undeniable.

Everyone knew that Milim probably wouldn't get truly serious, but if she was genuinely angered, they would be faced with the difficult situation of going to war with Totto Land.

As the fireball in the sky drew nearer to the ocean, just a moment before it plunged into the water, Milim spread her dragon wings, released her hands, and let the two men crash into the sea.

She herself glided over the surface of the water, finally returning to the port of Totto Land.

The two men fell into the sea, creating an enormous splash that even rocked the docked ships.

"Captain, don't die!" Gaban squatted by the sea in great sorrow, reaching a hand towards the spot where Roger had fallen. His appearance alone was tragic, but his next sentence shattered the act.

"At least entrust all your treasure to me before you die!"

"You bastard, Gaban! So you've been after my treasure all along!" A hand emerged from the sea, followed by a soaking wet Roger who leaped out of the water.

"So you're not dead!" Gaban stood up calmly, looking somewhat disappointed.

"What the hell are you so disappointed about, you bastard?" Roger was furious. What was he supposed to do with a crew that was always trying to usurp his position?

Then, another hand emerged from the sea, grabbed Roger's head, and pushed it down. Garp's head popped out of the water, and he scratched his head with an embarrassed laugh.

"Hahaha! I'm really sorry, Milim. I didn't even realize I had chased him all the way to Totto Land."

"You bastard Garp! Who are you kidding? You think no one would notify you when you enter Totto Land's territory? You were clearly looking for trouble!" Roger broke free from Garp's large hand and quickly swam ashore.

He stood next to Milim, his face showing an "I've seen through it all" expression, and pointed at Garp, shouting.

"Is that so?" Garp picked his nose and also came ashore. Then, as if remembering something, he said, "Oh, so those calls I was getting earlier were to notify me. I thought they were just more orders from the higher-ups, so I threw the Den Den Mushi away."

"You're lying through your teeth! Milim, hurry up and beat him up! Better yet, beat him so he can never get into bed again!" Roger, still dissatisfied, looked at Milim with expectant eyes, hoping she would give Garp a good thrashing.

Ever since he had set out to sea, this Garp fellow had been acting strangely, ignoring everyone else and just chasing him.

Wherever he went, Garp followed. Anyone who didn't know better would think Garp was in love with him.
