The captured people, their faces stained with tears of fear, shouted towards their only hope, "King Harald, save us!!"
Harald's gaze grew more solemn and resolute. "Now is the time for us to repay their kindness. I will absolutely not back down here."
The World Government agent still wore a disdainful smile, looking down on the Giant King who had once bowed to the World Government. "Harald—if I have to be blunt, your Elbaf is currently just a nation that hopes to become affiliated."
The agent's tone was threatening. "It would be one thing if you helped us, but if you dare to shelter a non-affiliated nation..."
"...then you can forget about ever becoming affiliated."
