"Sigh!" Harald let out a sigh. At this point, even a complete fool would have understood Rocks's meaning. A country with such a wonderful life and powerful strength would become a threat to the World Government's rule once it matured. Now that the Giant Kingdom was associated with Totto Land, it would make the already vigilant World Government even more wary of them, and even the Giant Kingdom of Elbaf would be dragged into it.
"Well, well!" Shiki twisted his face into a comical smile. "I really don't know what to say about you two. You seem perfectly normal to be called crazy, yet you're far too powerful to be called little girls lost in a fairy tale."
"It's truly baffling."
"Life in Totto Land..." Newgate remarked with emotion, his mind drifting back to his homeland. If his homeland had been as strong as Totto Land, perhaps he wouldn't have become a pirate?
Bakkin Stussy leaned on Newgate's shoulder, unmoved by any of their words. Her mind was constantly thinking that to feed so many people, the treasures in Totto Land must be countless. Her mind was filled with greedy thoughts.
The next moment, Bakkin felt a sudden chill run through her body. She immediately looked up and found Milim's eyes staring directly at her. Although there was no trace of Conqueror's Haki, the sense of fear it brought was deeper than any Conqueror's Haki.
This one, she thought, is definitely a monster among monsters.
"You don't need to understand what we do. We do it simply because we want to. That's the arrogance of the strong, isn't it?" Charlotte Linlin tapped her fingers on the table, her eyes looking intently at everyone.
"Gulp!" Rocks took a heavy swig of his drink, then slammed the cup on the table and laughed loudly. "That's right! Deciding how to change the world is the right of the strong!"
"But! Charlotte Linlin, shouldn't you thank me? I've gone to great lengths to help you attract the World Government's attention."
"If it weren't for us, your Totto Land wouldn't have had such an easy time developing."
"Oh?" Charlotte Linlin glanced over at Milim. She saw Milim leisurely swinging her legs, eating a dessert from the table that was as large as she was, as if she hadn't understood a word Rocks had said.
Seeing Milim like this, Charlotte Linlin understood what she meant.
"Then we really should thank you. If not for you, more people would have died!" Charlotte Linlin's expression remained calm as she said the words of thanks, but her demeanor showed no sign of being moved.
"Don't be so cold, Linlin!" Seeing Charlotte Linlin offer thanks without any real sentiment, Rocks wasn't surprised.
He shifted to talk about his plan: "Speaking of which, we are the ones attracting the World Government's attention right now. If we fail, Totto Land will be the first country the World Government will want to erase."
"You're not wrong. So, let's stop playing games with each other and talk directly about the plan." Charlotte Linlin's face remained placid, unmoved by Rocks's words.
Hearing this, Rocks's expression turned serious, the joking demeanor gone. "I can't tell you the entire plan. You've all eaten Devil Fruits, so I can't offer you much help either."
"But one thing is certain: one day in the future, a great war that will shock the world will occur. In that war, the god who resides in the Room of Flowers will appear."
"A Celestial Dragon?" Charlotte Linlin tilted her head in confusion. She didn't think the Celestial Dragons deserved the title of 'god'.
Milim, on the other hand, tilted her head in surprise. It seemed Rocks had actually met Imu. Before she was transported to this world, Milim hadn't read the manga from Rocks's era; her knowledge of him came from fanfiction, so it had always been a bit vague.
But now it was certain: Rocks had been to the Room of Flowers and had met the true ruler of the World Government, Imu.
This obvious gesture naturally caught Rocks's attention. His eyes widened in a daze as an incredibly bold idea suddenly appeared in his mind.
"Hey! Milim, you know something, don't you?!" Although it was phrased as a question, Rocks said it with absolute certainty.
As soon as he said this, everyone's eyes focused on the short figure in the middle. Milim looked at the people around her and swallowed the snack in her mouth.
"I think I've seen the god you're talking about." Milim rested her chin on one hand, lost in thought. "When I was passing by the Red Line, I subconsciously used my Dragon Eye to scan in its direction."
"I found a very strange place then, a room full of flowers. Inside, there was a very strangely shaped, completely black figure standing there. But I had things to do at the time, so I didn't pay much attention and left."
"I just thought that the Room of Flowers you mentioned sounded a lot like that room I saw."
Rocks gave Milim a deep look, then broke into a smile again. "So that's how it is. Maybe you really did see that guy."
"What in the world are you talking about?! The Room of Flowers? A god on the Red Line?!" Harald shouted, unable to comprehend or perhaps unwilling to believe. This time, his voice was sharper and louder than ever before.
"Harald, are you still unwilling to believe? One day, you will understand everything. And then, you will join my side. I look forward to that day." With that, Rocks stopped looking at Harald.
He turned and walked towards the exit of the tavern. His crew followed behind him, talking and laughing. At the doorway, Rocks suddenly stopped. His crew stopped with him, turning their heads to look back at Charlotte Linlin and Milim's position.
In a calm tone, Rocks asked a question for which he didn't expect an answer: "When that war begins, Totto Land will surely join, won't it?"
After saying this, Rocks turned and left for good. Only Harald, Charlotte Linlin, and the others remained in the tavern, watching Rocks's figure gradually disappear.
Milim knew perfectly well that the war Rocks anticipated wouldn't begin as he imagined. Because of the God Valley Incident, that war would be triggered prematurely. The Giant King would remain unconvinced by Rocks, and Rocks himself would meet his end at the God Valley Incident.
However, the God Valley Incident was also something Milim was looking forward to, so she had no reason to prevent it from happening.
