"Wow!" Upon officially arriving in Elbaf, Milim's jaw dropped in astonishment at her first sight of the giant tree that pierced the clouds.
"Can a tree really grow this big?" The giant tree before her was dozens of times taller than an ordinary mountain peak; it felt as if it were tens of thousands of meters high.
It was as thick as a small island, and its visible portion was nearly the size of Elbaf's landmass.
What was most shocking of all was the giant sword next to the tree, as tall as the tree itself and at least ten thousand meters long.
"Truly unimaginable!" Gloriosa's gaze trembled as she looked at the giant sword. She couldn't imagine who could possibly lift such a weapon, or how powerful it would be once wielded!
Upon seeing the giant sword, even someone as naturally gifted as Linlin felt her own insignificance for the first time. She suspected that even her innate monstrous strength and constitution would be no match for it.
Taking a deep breath, Charlotte Linlin sighed, "I thought Harald was the tallest giant in the world. How tall would a giant have to be to wield this sword? Tens of thousands of meters?"
"Stop overthinking it." Milim thumped Linlin's calf, snapping her out of her stupor. "You've always wanted to see Elbaf, right? Now that we're here, have fun. Stop thinking about these boring things."
Seeing Milim's nonchalant attitude, Charlotte Linlin smiled. "Aren't you even a little intimidated by this kind of power?"
"I'm a little interested, I'll admit. After all, I've never seen anything this big before." Milim's expression turned proud. "But to say I'm afraid? You're seriously underestimating me!"
"So what if it's huge? It's just a bigger target."
The tension in Charlotte Linlin's heart suddenly eased. The truth was, despite how mature she had become, deep down, all her composure was built upon her sister's strength. She knew that no matter what she did, the ever-invincible Milim, who had been that way since they were children, would always have her back.
The sight before them was astonishing, but the image of Milim's invincibility was already deeply etched into Charlotte Linlin's mind. Besides, to this day, Charlotte Linlin had never once seen Milim fight at her full strength. The weapon forged for her, Tenma, was probably collecting dust in a warehouse, having never been used.
As they spoke, they entered the main town of Elbaf. What greeted them was not the powerful and well-fed warrior nation they had imagined. While the giants walking the streets weren't exactly skin and bones, they were all clearly in a state of hunger.
It was obvious that the kingdom's food supply was insufficient to feed everyone. Each giant was immense and required a massive amount of food. Even with the bounty of the sea, it was difficult to fill every giant's stomach by hunting alone.
However, the environment of Elbaf was quite nice.
Elbaf's core is the Treasure Tree Adam, which is divided into three layers: the "Celestial Realm," the "Solar Realm," and the "Nether Realm." Most giant warriors reside in the Village of Warriors in the "Solar Realm." It has forests, a sea, and a beautiful environment, with a spectacular village made mostly of wooden houses. The "Solar Realm" also features places like the Rainbow Bridge, the Warrior's Spring, the Owl Library, and the Walrus School, providing the giants with spaces for living, learning, and recreation.
Gloriosa held a book in her hand, continuously explaining to Milim and Charlotte Linlin.
"Hey, where's that narrator's voice coming from?" Milim was momentarily confused, only to realize it was Gloriosa explaining things at her side.
Their arrival attracted the attention of the nearby giants. In this era, the giants of Elbaf possessed a strong sense of national pride and independence. They considered their homeland sacred and maintained a necessary wariness towards outsiders.
"Humans, why have you come to Elbaf?" a giant asked, stepping forward as he saw Milim's group getting closer to the village.
Milim grinned and waved at the giant, introducing herself loudly, "I'm Milim! Have you heard of Totto Land? That's my country!"
Charlotte Linlin also broke into a huge grin. "Charlotte Linlin, the queen of Totto Land."
Gloriosa's expression was calm. "Gloriosa, a member of Lady Milim's family."
"Totto Land?" The giant scratched his head and looked at his companion. "I think I've heard that name somewhere, but I can't quite remember."
"You can't even remember Totto Land? Kashi, you really are an idiot," the other giant mocked his companion, but still explained, "Totto Land is that country some of our comrades joined."
"Oimo, you're the idiot!" Kashi retorted, then scratched his head again. "So... does that mean they're friends?"
"I guess so!" Oimo thought for a moment, felt there was nothing wrong with that logic, and then nodded firmly.
"If they're friends, then it's fine! Hey, friends from Totto Land, want to go for a drink?" Kashi's wary expression immediately turned cheerful, and he invited Milim and the others for a drink.
"Are all these giants so simple-minded? No wonder they're always being deceived by the World Government," Gloriosa sighed.
Linlin, on the other hand, put her hands on her hips and laughed loudly. "Mamamama! Isn't this great? I like dealing with straightforward people. And it looks like we've made some progress today."
Charlotte Linlin could see the food shortage in the giant kingdom of Elbaf and thought she could help them in this regard, thereby earning the friendship of all the giants.
Milim also put her hands on her hips and laughed. "Hahaha!! Alright, big giants, let's go have that drink!"
Seeing them laugh, the two giants also began to laugh heartily, and the atmosphere instantly became cheerful.
After they finished laughing, Milim impolitely jumped onto Kashi's shoulder, tapped him on the head, and urged him to hurry to the tavern.
Kashi didn't mind at all and led the group towards the tavern.
"But didn't we just finish drinking? Is her digestive system that fast?" Gloriosa muttered to herself as she followed behind.
Hearing this, Linlin chuckled. "How much she eats or drinks has always depended on her mood. After all, she never gets hungry, and she never gets full."
Arriving at the tavern, they found it filled with giants. The surrounding tables and chairs were dozens of times larger than those in Totto Land. Before long, someone brought out food.
