Genos muttered. The respect in his eyes deepened as he looked at Lin Mo.
On the other side, Bang's shock was no less than Genos's.
He slowly relaxed his Water Stream Rock Smashing stance; his hands trembled faintly with excitement.
"Magnificent…" he breathed.
His intuition told him that the control contained in that single move was even more terrifying than the meteor's destruction itself.

It was because his heart was pounding—half from fatigue, half from giddy gain.
"It's handled," Lin Mo said as evenly as he could.
The few words were magic—snapping Genos and Bang back to the present.
Yes. It was over. Z City was safe.
"Mr. KING…" Genos rose and bowed deeply.
"Thank you for saving this city. I overestimated myself earlier; your power is a realm I cannot imagine."
Bang bowed with hands together, solemn.
"KING-san, my thanks. I will not forget this debt. Otherwise my dojo would have vanished with those fragments."
Lin Mo quickly waved it off. "Saitama deserves much of the credit. Without him shattering the meteor, I couldn't have handled so many fragments."
"Ah, um…" Saitama ambled over, puncturing the solemn air as he pointed down.
"Should we head down? How are we getting there?"
Lin Mo turned, expression blank, and walked to the door into the tower's interior.
"The elevator."
Bang blinked, then smiled, thoughtful—silently impressed:
"To hide greatness in the everyday, to appear simple while wise. After a deed so great, to neither ask for credit nor put on airs, but choose the most ordinary way to rejoin the crowd."
"KING-kun's state of mind has transcended outer displays entirely."

On the big screen, the golden sphere rose, spread into the sky-wide net, and neatly vaporized every fragment.
The entire sequence was smooth, elegant, without a single extraneous motion.
"Analysis… Have you got an analysis? What energy is that—what principle?" Sitch grabbed an analyst.
The analyst pointed at garbled output and blank data on his screen, stammering,
"Un-analyzable! All our instruments blanked at that instant—they recorded nothing but white-out intensity. This… this should be impossible!"
"Impossible?" Sitch let go, staggered back two steps—then burst into laughter.
"Ha! Ha ha ha! Impossible—good! For Mr. KING, 'impossible' is made to be broken!"
He slapped the command table hard; the thump snapped everyone to attention.
"Immediately! In the Association's highest capacity, issue a global announcement!"
"The Z City meteor crisis has been perfectly resolved—by S-Class hero KING!"
